If everything in our life was gilded and sparkly, we would have no reason to complain. For this DIY we were inspired by our weird childhood toys that were filled with sparkly goop that would entertain us for hours. Who knew this sensation could be achieved with glitter and hair gel! These cozy will make any beer look like a million bucks =) Just a warning — these cozy feel like they could be ice packs, however they are not. We tried, and they will shatter once frozen.

Cut out a rectangle of vinyl that measures 10.5 x 7.5 inches. When I went to test this DIY, I didn’t have time to run to the store to pick up sewable plastic, so instead I tested it with plastic that was used to package a set of bed sheets. It worked perfectly! Search your house for materials before heading to the store.
Fold the rectangle in half and sew three sides.
Mix together the hair gel, glitter glue, and glitter. We used about half the container of gel, but make sure you add as much glitter as you desire.
Scoop it into the vinyl pouch. Use your hands to flatten the glitter into all corners and to get out every single air bubble.
Sew up the opening to secure the glitter inside (rather than all over your hands).
Apply Velcro on both ends of your rectangle.
This is my cozy dream come true.
Make sure the Velcro is on both sides, yet opposite faces of the pouch.
Prettiest cozy in all the land.
Stop fooling around — crack open that Guinness and put the cozy to work.
Cheers in our favorite gold bracelets.
These cozies are not just for St. Patty’s Day. Rock these gold goddesses everyday, all day.
