May 15, 2024 — Rumors Swirl About Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's Alleged Divorce

Though Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reconnected, there have rumors that their marriage may be in trouble. A source alerted InTouch Weekly that there have been obvious signs that something is wrong for a while.

"The writing is on the wall – it’s over," the source claims before saying, "They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!" The source believes the two have a lot of love for each other, but that they're jus too different to be together.

TMZ has also reported that Ben seems like he hasn't been living at home — yikes! He was photographed leaving going to and coming from a L.A. home without Jennifer. It's also being reported that he's been allegedly spending the night there.

But, TMZ also pointed out that the pair are still wearing their wedding rings so it's hard to say if there's any merit to the breakup rumors. Until Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck actually give a statement, I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for the best! And we're not the only ones — 13 Going on 30's Jennifer Garner (who was married to Ben Affleck from 2005-2015) “is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen,” according to an Us Weeklysource. “She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy.”

Also, Jennifer Lopez wants us to really mind our business. People reported than an actress was not feeling a pushy reporter's question about her marriage and didn't have a problem letting them know. She was promoting Atlas with her co-stars when said reporter asked, "Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors?"

Though her co-star Simu Liu expressed his disdain for the questions first, Jennifer quickly said," You know better than that." This lets us know that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are well aware that people are talking about their marriage.

Image via Michael Loccisano/Getty Images for 20th Century Studios

Still, this hasn't stopped insiders from talking about what's going on behind closed doors. One even reached out to People to say, "They’re still living separately," and "She’s back in L.A. for tour rehearsals. She seems okay. She’s very focused on work." The outlet even reported that the couple are in fact living apart and have been seen on several occasions without each other.

While I know some people could care less, I remember when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck first started dating so to see them struggling again feels a little painful. I'm trying to keep hope alive, but they ultimately know what's going on in their relationship. If they do choose to separate, that's a choice we'll all have to respect.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down," Jennifer continues in the newsletter. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

June 21, 2024 — Ben Affleck Discusses Family Life With Jennifer Lopez

In a newly released interview with Kevin Hart, Ben Affleck showed a rare vulnerability that we don't often see. The two chatted about several things during the Season 4 premiere of Hart to Heart, but it was Ben's admission that he has "resting hard face" (via Entertainment Tonight) that caught our attention.

Though there have been theories about why Ben often looks like he'd rather be somewhere else than dealing with paparazzi, he made it clear why he's not always smiling when the cameras are on him. "I also don't like a lot of attention...people see me [and] they're like, ‘Well, this dude always mad…’ Because somebody has their camera and sticking to my face.”

Ben even mentioned a time when he, Jennifer, and their kids were trying to make it to a play while walking through Times Square. Though he knows fans are going to be excited to see them, it's obvious he's not thrilled when their kids are subject to that kind of pandemonium.

"We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s--- was like f---in’ bananas...it feels like hundreds of people and now screaming," Ben explained (via People).

And while we can't go back in time to change the past, we can reimagine it — and Prime Video's My Lady Jane proves that reimagining can be GOOD. This TV show has everything romantasy fans have been asking for: tension and slow burn, an incredible script, beautiful costumes, and complicated characters. "Give us My Lady Jane season 2," we all say in unison.

One Day gets the award for "Most Devastating TV Show Of 2024." Seriously, if you sobbed uncontrollably in your bed in the middle of the night...you're not alone. It also highlights how important it is not to waste time — and to never pass up the opportunity to tell someone you love them.

One Day is available to stream on Netflix and stars Ambika Mod, Leo Woodall, Essie Davis, Amber Grappy, Tim McInnerny, Joely Richardson, Toby Stephens, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Jonny Weldon.

Shōgun — Stream On Hulu

FX/Hulu

Shōgun's popularity — and the fact it moved from a limited series to a multi-season show — proves it's one of the best TV shows of 2024. And we haven't stopped thinking about the relationships, the politics, and that major cliffhanger since.

The Bear Season 3 — Stream On Hulu

FX/Hulu

Not only did The Bear season 3 give our favorite chefs higher stakes in their careers and their personal lives, but it also gave us a deeper understanding of everyone's backstories, and how much they mean to one another. That insane season 3 ending packed a punch by diving into the affects of Carmy's relationship with Sydney in the past, and his relationship with Jimmy in the future. It's also perfectly teed up season 4, which we're hoping comes sooner rather than later.

You can stream The Bear season 3 on Hulu now. The show stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Matty Matheson, Ayo Edebiri, and Will Poulter.

This new take adds new tension, stakes, and drama, and Maya and Donald's chemistry is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

My Lady Jane is one of the most fun TV shows of 2024. It's perfect for fans of The Buccaneers and Jane Austen. It's nothing but romance, fantasy, and really beautiful costumes. Plus the fact that Edward Bluemel & Emily Bader are MAGIC together is just the cherry on top. I had a blast watching every single episode, and so did the rest of the internet! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share these hilarious reactions to My Lady Jane.

I was definitely not expecting Guildford to be an Ethian but it did add a certain Shrek-like quality to the series.

Enemies to lovers fans, our time is now!

People love to complain FOR NO REASON.

A prince and an outspoken, confident woman fall for each other? Horses? Capes and swords and daggers? Say no more.

Tension, excellent writing, lovable characters. Oh we are SO back!

It's always a good day when we can watch My Lady Jane.

Thankfully we can rewatch the show as many times as we want. And yet, I still want more!

Little sisters truly make the world go round.

If I'm honest, every episode had me swooning.

Oh to quit our day jobs and wander a magical countryside instead.

I'm truly convinced My Lady Jane has altered my brain chemistry!

This series truly had me feeling ALL the emotions...

...including pain.

Dare I say, Jane and Guildford saved romance.

I unfortunately have experienced the sheer tragedy that is hiking a long, challenging trail without the proper hiking shoes. It was blisters and aches galore! Trust me, I’m never doing that again. I also wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, ever.

Having supportive hiking shoes is absolutely crucial for not only tackling the tricky terrain out there, but simply ensuring you have an enjoyable time on the trail. After all, there’s so much Mother Nature has to offer, and it’s a shame to miss out on it in favor of tending to pain induced by an ill-fitting pair of shoes.

If you’re anything like me, you like to pull up to the trailhead in your coolest hiking outfit(when you look good, you feel good). Finding the right pair of hiking shoes to match your unparalleled style can be hard, though. Well, no longer! There are plenty of stylish hiking shoes out there that not only feel like heaven on your feet, but ensure you look like the coolest gal at the trailhead and beyond. Scroll on for 6 of my favorite hiking shoes that don’t sacrifice style nor comfort!

REI

Merrell x Parks Project Moab 3 Hiking Shoes

I need these on my feet expeditiously. I love that they boast a whole rainbow of colors, all while the sandy brown color does an excellent job at hiding dirt and dust. These Merrell hiking shoes made in collaboration with Parks Project are mostly fitted with recycled materials, too. The upper is made from plant-based materials and recycled canvas, as is the breathable mesh lining. There's an air cushion in the heels that absorbs any shock and adds stability, plus the signature Vibram soles ensure durability. These get you that technical look and feel while still having curb appeal, even off the trail!

The Merrell x Parks Project Moab 3 Hiking Shoes are $155.

Salomon

Salomon XT-6 Sportstyle Shoes

These shoes are for the outdoorsy street style lover. They're certifiably gorp-core, but still very supportive on any trail adventure. This pair has EVA cushioning that solidifies each and every step, geometrical lugs that hug any terrain and add stability, plus a super practical Quicklace system for easy on and off. Originally produced for ultra-distance races under harsh conditions, you'll find athletic-focused details in the sporty side stripes and signature Salomon logo with primary colors across the top. It's a good idea to go with this darker colorway for trail hikes, since it expertly disguises debris.

The Salomon XT-6 Sportstyle Shoes are available for $200.

Hoka

Hoka Speedgoat 5 Low

Hoka shoes are renowned for their comfort and practicality, especially when it comes to walking, running, and trail hiking. The Speedgoats are undeniably one of their most popular silhouettes, and I love that they're super streamlined – not bulky. These hiking shoes feature grippy Vibram soles, a double layer of jacquard mesh that ups breathability, and extra padding around the heel collar for support. Their weight clocks in at 8.5 oz, which is nice if you're already lugging around a big backpack full of gear.

The Hoka Speedgoat 5 Lows currently go for $124 (was $155).

The North Face

The North Face Oxeye Tech Shoes

The bootie-style ankle height on these hiking shoes from The North Face stabilizes the ankles and gets supported further by some sturdy plastic webbing, which is wildly helpful on long hikes. The outer layers are also made from ripstop material that keeps the shoe together, even if you come across small snags or tears. You'll fall in love with the thick, bouncy soles and easy drawstring laces! These shoes are fairly grippy on the bottom, but not as much as the other shoes' Vibram fittings. More than anything, I think this earth tone color palette is perfect for outdoor excursions of any kind, so they're very versatile.

This pair of The North Face Oxeye Tech Shoes are $90 (was $129).

Nike

Nike Zegama 2

Nike has mastered the art of hiking shoes with this style. The Zegama 2's are Nike's most-tested trail shoes to date with over 35,000 miles logged globally! They're fitted with an ultra-responsive ZoomX foam midsole and stretchy ankle gaiter that hugs the heel to deliver ideal levels of comfort. Ultimately, they were designed to conquer steep ridges, jagged rocks and hilly races, so you can also make them work beyond the trailhead. Though there's only a single layer of mesh on the upper, it's impressively durable and ultra-breathable. I also adore the eye-catching lime green details and bold classic Nike swoosh along the sides.

This pair of Nike Zegama 2's goes for $180.

Saucony

Saucony Endorphin Rift

Look at that grip! These Saucony hiking shoes are designed with 4.5mm lugs that help you tackle especially loose terrain. Though tough on the outside, these kicks are soft on the inside, made with a lightweight, pillowy-soft cushion that adds a nice bounce to your steps. The bespoke Speedroll technology propels you forward, no matter what kind of movement you're doing. The heightened ankles and reinforced lace work ensure a snug – but not uncomfy – fit!

This pair of Saucony Endorphin Rifts goes for $170.
