Fuller House’s Jodie Sweetin Is No Longer Engaged

A sad bit of news for Fuller House fans: The show’s middle daughter (and the greatest aunt ever), Jodie Sweetin (AKA Stephanie Tanner), has called off her real-life engagement to Justin Hodak.

The couple, who dated for two years prior to Hodak putting a ring on it, decided to make things official last January, when he proposed with a gorgeous emerald cut diamond with a split shank setting.

Not many details are known about the split, with the DWTS alum’s rep simply telling People, “We can confirm that actress Jodie Sweetin and her fiancé Justin Hodak have ended their relationship,” and requesting respectful privacy. Still, we’ve gotta say, we’re a little heartbroken.

The 35-year-old hasn’t exactly had the easiest go of it in the love department (or life in general, truth be told: Sweetin had a very public struggle with drug addiction following Full House’s initial wrap), having married and divorced three times before.

Hodak appeared to fit right in with the now-healthy actress and her brood, which includes a six-year-old daughter Beatrix and an eight-year-old named Zoie, giving us all high hopes that this could be her real fairy-tale ending.

Since the arrival of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes' new bundle of joy, fans started to notice something interesting about their kids. Aside from being cute as a button, each of them have very unique baby names. Instead of taking the conventional route, the darling couple decided to pick a theme that feels on par with Patrick's NFL winning streak.

According to E! News, Brittany talked about the theme for her kids names in 2023. While talking about her dogs, she mentioned their names. "I got steel in college and named him after that." Then she admitted she thought about naming their second dog "sterling cause it went with steel perfect."

However, thinking about her future children made her change her mind. "...one day I want that to be daughters name so then we came up with Silver to go with steel."

Once Patrick and Brittany named their first daughter Sterling, the dots connected once they had their son. "...having a boy and him being Patrick Mahomes III, Bronze was just meant to be and went perfect," said Brittany.

We can't wait to learn about the inspiration for baby Golden Raye's name although we have an inkling it still follows the theme of her siblings' names.

What did they almost name 'Bronze?'

Funny enough, 'Bronze' almost had another name! Patrick told PEOPLE, "We were going with Trey at first because the third obviously and everything like that." He then shared his brother Jackson is the mastermind behind his son's name. "I started meeting more and more people with the nickname Trey, and Jackson came up to me and was like, 'What about Bronze?'"

He later said, "I haven't seen anybody else do that...I like it."

Brittany Mahomes is always shedding light on her role as a mom. Based on this Instagrampost, Brittany adores it. "Thanking the Lord everyday for making me a Mom. My most favorite role and biggest blessings."

Patrick Mahomes doesn't talk about fatherhood as often, but he's still a doting father. When celebrating his daughter's birthday, he wrote a sweet post on Instagram. "Happy 3rd birthday Sterling Skye! You are my 💙! Stop growing up so fast."

We Live in Time starts streaming on Max February 7. That makes it the perfect option for a Valentine's Day movie date if you ask me.

It'll also debut on HBO Saturday, February 8 and 8 PM EST.

What is We Live in Time about?

We Live in Time follows Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield), whose lives intersect when Almut hits Tobias with her car. Whoops! What starts out as an accident transforms their lives as they fall in love and start a family. But when Almut's cancer returns, their hope for the future is put in jeopardy.

“When I read it, I just fell in love with the idea of getting to be in one of those movies that will matter to a lot of people, and will live for a long time," Florence told Vanity Fair. "And it’s about the simplest of things, which is that we are here, I personally believe, for one reason only: to love and be loved.”

During an appearance on the TODAY show, Patrick talked about the beginning of their relationship. "I think at that point we had been dating for a couple months," he said before admitting he was "just a normal teenage kid showing up at the family dinner."

May 2013: Patrick & Brittany Go To Prom

The cute teens were still going strong a year later because they went to prom together! Patrick posted a pic on Instagram the day they were set to go and it perfectly captured the early 2010s (i.e. collage instead of carousel pictures). He wrote, "

Shortly after Thanksgiving, Patrick & Brittany gave birth to their son, "Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III" who weighed "7lbs 8oz," according to the athlete's Instagram caption. Similar to Sterling's birth announcement, the couple didn't show little Patrick's face, just his feet in the cutest onesie I've ever seen. Brittany reported for WAG duties at the Chiefs vs. Buccaneers game on Monday, November 4, 2024 — and cheered alongside her BFF Taylor Swift throughout the game! This TikTok shows the two celebrating one of Patrick's touchdown passes, but it appears Brittany quickly realizes and tells Taylor that "Patrick's hurt." Luckily, it seems Pat was fine after all, but it can be scary business being a WAG!

Meanwhile, Brittany posted a video later of their daughter, Sterling, sharing her own football commentary. PEOPLEreported that in an Instagram story, Brittany asks Sterling, "What's so rude?" Sterling then responds, "If they take the ball from daddy and score a touchdown by theirselves, that means they're so rude." Clearly the Chiefs love — and loyalty — runs deep in this family! 😂

Injuries aside and interesting football takes aside (I'm looking at you, Sterling!), Brittany posted to Instagram, celebrating Patrick's big win. As the only team left with an undefeated record in the NFL this year, her caption is incredibly appropriate: "8 & ZERO😎" We love to see these two winning together!

January 12, 2025 — Patrick And Brittany Are A Family Of Five Now!

Baby No. 3 is here and she's already filling big shoes with her name; Golden Raye Mahomes (via PEOPLE). Similar to her siblings Sterling and Bronze, Golden received her own special arrival announcement post on Instagram. Patrick and Brittany shared a sweet picture of them holding her cute, tiny feet above a monogrammed wooden sign.
