Watch Kendall Jenner Do Her Best Marilyn Monroe Impersonation

Kendall Jenner is hot off the fashion week runways (even nabbing the title of Instagram’s most-liked model in the process) and paying homage to a style legend. The 21-year-old has a new Marilyn Monroe-inspired photoshoot and short film for LOVE Magazinethat’s proving diamond’s really are a girl’s best friend.

Sporting sultry looks from lingerie brand La Perla (the reality star is also the face of their spring 2017 campaign) and a pearl Chanel necklace, Jenner is pinup perfection in a stylized two-minute short for the magazine.

The sexy shoot, directed by London photographer Rankin and styled by LOVE editor Katie Grand, was teased by the publication on Twitter early Monday.

As Grand told the Daily Mail, “Kendall had come to London for the LOVE 17 launch [to photograph] the cover stars, and Rankin hadn’t shot with her before, and had really wanted to make this video with her. She had the time, so we just did it. It was a super fun day as ever with Kendall.”

A fun day indeed! The Keeping Up With the Kardashians superstar is featured jumping and laughing while showing off her super-fit figure in a range of looks, including a red and white floral Miu Miu one-piece with a Humphrey Butler princess tiara, a black plunging William vintage YSL V-neck and wide-brimmed Lock & Co. hat, and a pink La Perla Plumetis triangle bralette ($95) with a transparent white shawl.

The supermodel lip-synced to the Monroe classic, “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” and aced some of the icons famous lines from Let’s Make Love and The Seven Year Itch.

It’s also quite tricky to prepare at home yourself, requiring careful timing and a quick broil – all without melting the ice cream inside.

2. Ambrosia

Ambrosia was a true staple of mid-century American potlucks. It’s essentially a fruit salad mixed with canned mandarin oranges, pineapples, marshmallows, and coconut, often held together with whipped cream or (shudders) mayonnaise. It has fallen out of favor due to its heavy reliance on processed ingredients and a shift toward fresher, less-sugary desserts.

3. Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Oh, so retro! This buttery cake prepped with caramelized pineapple rings and maraschino cherries on top was wildly popular in the 1950s and ‘60s, but isn’t too hot anymore since most dessert recipes these days tend to rely on less-processed, canned ingredients. At least it looks cool!

4. Jell-O Salad

As another mid-century favorite, Jell-O salad combined flavored gelatin with a mix of fruits, marshmallows, and sometimes even vegetables like shredded carrots or olives (what the?!). Once an undeniable go-to for dinner parties and church potlucks, it’s now really seen as an oddity due to its artificial flavors, wobbly texture, and unconventional ingredient pairings.

5. Chess Pie

Chess Pie is a simple (and very sweet) Southern dessert made from eggs, sugar, butter, and vinegar or lemon juice. It also boasts a rich, custard-like filling! While it still has a niche following, it has been overshadowed by trendier, more visually appealing pies like salted caramel or chocolate silk.

6. Fruit Cake

There was once a time where you couldn’t go wrong with fruit cake. This holiday staple, oftentimes packed with candied fruits and nuts, has earned a reputation for being overly-dense and cloyingly sweet. It’s also commonly mocked for its long shelf life and dry texture, making it more of a novelty than an actual dessert.

A wacky creation of the 1970s, this pastel-green dessert featured pistachio pudding mix, Cool Whip, crushed pineapple, marshmallows, and nuts. Avoid These Common Video Interview Mistakes

Doing video interviews over platforms like Skype have become increasing popular because they’re convenient, they save a ton of time, and they can be done in the privacy of your home. Unfortunately, tech issues and lack of attention to detail are often inevitable and end up irritating (instead of impressing) your potential hiring manager. The team over at Skype shared their best video interview tips for job seekers.

1. You couldn’t find your interviewer. You have an interview scheduled for 1pm, and you open up Skype at 12:58 pm but you can’t seem to connect with the right person. This scenario is typical and avoidable if you are proactive and make sure to connect with your interviewer when you initially receive their Skype username.

2. You didn’t test your tech. You figured since you’ve used Skype a zillion times before that you don’t need to do a test call. Unfortunately, when you log in, you realize your version is out of date and need to restart your computer and end up delaying your call. Or maybe your microphone was switched off. Or you can’t hear your interviewer. You’ll be losing precious interview time, not to mention getting on your interviewer’s nerves and all of these delays will factor into your overall interview, just like arriving late for an in-person interview.

3. You didn’t clean yourself up. Many people think that their appearance doesn’t matter when it comes to a video interview. These folks could not be more wrong. It’s essential to place yourself in a space that maximizes who you are as a job candidate. A messy desk, empty food containers, or a closet that’s in desperate need of a clean up are all reflections of who you are as a candidate. Part of any job interview (virtual or not) includes your presentation and your chosen interview space — especially if it’s your home — really does get added into your overall candidacy ranking. Don’t let a cluttered desk or an untidy shelf mess up a potential job opportunity.

4. You didn’t get completely dressed. You figured the interviewer could only see your face and shoulders, so you didn’t bother to put on shoes or pants and figured a high cut crop top was fine. It’s not. For any interview — even a phone interview — it’s important to look the part. As soon as you don an outfit that makes you feel powerful and look great, your mood will embrace these qualities as well. Make sure to shrug your shoulders, sit back in your chair, and lock the door. Otherwise, your outfit (or lack thereof) will be exposed. This BBC interview proves that the unexpected can always happen.

5. You didn’t remain focused. When people Skype, there’s a tendency to look into the middle of the screen. Instead, you want to make eye contact with the interviewer — just like you would in an in-person interview. Look directly into the camera. You shouldn’t be sifting through papers on your desk, answering texts, or opening up other tabs on your browser. Maintain focus and connection, and make sure yapping dogs or loud sirens are not part of your interview. Keep a pair of earphones handy to throw on to help with overall voice quality.

6. You didn’t put your phone down. Skype has a mobile app, and many people tend to do their interviews (especially job interviews) while they are on the go and outside of their offices. Keep in mind though, holding your phone in front of you is distracting and you’re guaranteed to switch arms during the call which will distract the interviewer. To avoid any disruptions, set your phone down on a table and prop it up. Business card holders are a great makeshift easel to prop up your phone and keep it steady.
