Kim Kardashian West Poses As Jackie Kennedy for Interview Cover

Kim Kardashian West has posed for a LOT of controversial covers in her days. There was that time she went nude for W, or that other time she bared her, er, assets for Paper. Her latest just may be the most shocking of all, and she didn’t need to remove a stitch of clothing to pull it off.

The KKW Beauty founder tweeted a shot of the upcoming Interviewcover in which she looks a bit… different. Posing with daughter North by her side, Kardashian West appears to have taken on the alter ego of another famous fashion icon: Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Shot by Steven Klein, the stunning image features the 36-year-old mother of two sitting primly on a couch in white gloves, pearls, and a white sheath dress (no telling if she’s also wearing the late First Lady’s Cartier watches that she won in auction). She even channels the ’60s beauty with a pale-pink glossy lip and bouffant hairstyle. She also shared black and white snaps of herself caught up in a hug with North and peering out the window.

The photographer gave us some alternate shots from the pictorial, which also shows the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star in Jackie O’s signature sunnies, and another that’s an on-purpose candid of the reality alum in a navy peacoat.

Kardashian West herself makes no mention of Kennedy in the interview, rather comparing herself to yet another White House figure, albeit a fictional one — famed crisis handler, Olivia Pope. “If there’s something being said about my sisters, I’ll be the first to jump in a group. We have family chats that happen all day, every day… I’ll be the first to jump in and say, ‘Guys, I’m seeing this. This is not cool. Tell me what’s going on.’ I’m usually the ringleader for stuff like that and I’ll say, ‘You’re wrong. You need to apologize.’ Or, ‘This needs to be fixed. Everyone just lay low, chill out, don’t say anything. It doesn’t matter if it’s all lies. I know it’s frustrating. I know you want to speak up.’ We always have to remind ourselves of that,” she said in the accompanying interview.

She’s also not here for your criticisms. “I used to say, ‘I love being underestimated.’ But now, 10 years into it, I’m kind of like, ‘Okay, give a girl a little respect,'” Kardashian West reflected. “If I’m so not talented, if I do nothing, then how is my career my reality. And I poke fun at it. Like when I was on the cover of Forbes I posted the hashtag, ‘#NotBadForaGirlWithNoTalent.’”

She went on to add, “You can say a lot of things about me, but you cannot say I don’t work hard. I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t act. But I am not lazy.”

In the realm of celebrity families, the Kardashians reign supreme. Among them, eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian stands out with her dynamic personality and well-documented (Hello, Keeping Up With The Kardashians!) foray into motherhood. She recently made it known that being a mom is her number one priority, and she won't allow anyone or anything to take her away from that. With that level of dedication, it's clear that Kourtney is an amazing mom with lots of love to give! Here's everything you should know about her sweet kids!

How many biological kids does Kourtney Kardashian have?

Photo by Noam Galai/Getty Images for MTV/ViacomCBS

Kourtney Kardashian has four biological kids! Their names are Mason, Penelope, Reign, and Rocky. She shares her first three children with ex Scott Disick, and now shares Rocky her current husband, Travis Barker. Kourtney also appears to be very close to her step children, Landon and Alabama Barker.

What is Kourtney Kardashian's new baby's name?

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker announced the birth of their beautiful baby boy on December 22, 2023. His name is Rocky Thirteen Barker, which has a special meaning for Travis' father. Travis told Grazia Magazine that Rocky George was the guitarist for Suicidal Tendencies, and 13 is "just the greatest number of all time."

Will Kourtney Kardashian have a surrogate?

Image via @kourtneykardash/Instagram

According to Daily Mail, Kourtney's pregnancy with Rocky wasn't easy, eventually ending up with a rush to the hospital for urgent fetal surgery. Because of how difficult (and likely traumatizing) that was, Kourtney and Travis have apparently decided to go with a surrogate for any future children they have.

Mason Dash Disick, 14

Mason Dash Disick, born on December 14, 2009, is Kourtney's first biological child. He's also the first grandchild of the Kardashian family, and his birth was actually filmed for Keeping Up With the Kardashians! His middle name might sound familiar, as it also belongs to the set of stores that Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim previously ran. "Dash" parallels their last name and simultaneously serves as a tribute to their late father's (Robert Kardashian) nickname.

Penelope Scotland Disick, 11

Penelope — often affectionately referred to as "P" — was born on July 8, 2012. She was also born on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and is very close with her famous cousin, North West. They post their hilarious antics all over TikTok, making us miss those childhood mems with our own cousins.

Reign Aston Disick, 9

Reign is Kourtney and Scott's youngest child, and he was born on the same day as his older brother Mason! He's nine years old, and seems to bring his big personality wherever he goes. You can find a lot of his goofiness all over Kourt's Instagram.

Rocky Thirteen Barker, 3 months

Rocky Thirteen Barker is the latest addition to Kourtney Kardashian's kids! Kourtney was very open about her struggles with conceiving Rocky, as well as the complications that arose during her pregnancy. Thankfully, all worked out well, and now Rocky is living his best life with his parents and siblings!

How many kids does Travis Barker have?

Outside of Rocky, Travis Barker shares two biological with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. He also has a step-daughter named Atiana De La Hoya who he — and Kourtney — are very close with.

Travis Barker's shares his step daughter, Atiana De Le Hoya, with her mother Shanna Moakler. Atiana was born on March 29, 1999, and she's the eldest of the combined Barker-Kardashian clan. Atiana acts, and she recently starred in a thriller called Maya.

Landon Asher Barker, 20

Landon Barker was born on October 9, 2003, and is a musician — just like his dad! He's released a number of songs including "Trust" and "Holiday". In June of 2022, Landon began dating Internet celebrity and TikTok star, Charli D'Amelio. Sadly, in February of 2024, the two called it quits. They expressed that they're still friends and still have a lot of love left for one another.

Alabama Luella Barker, 18

Music must run in the family because Alabama Barker is a budding musician, too! She was born on December 24, 2005, while her family was starring in a reality show called Meet the Barkers. Today, she's still in the spotlight and is very active on TikTok. She posts a lot of her music across her platforms — which have collectively over 3 million followers!

How old is Travis Barker?

@kourtneykardashian/Instagram

Travis Barker recently celebrated his 49th birthday with Kourtney Kardashian by his side. The Lemme founder shared a sweet carousel of pictures of Instagram and wrote "Happy birthday to the love of my life," in her caption. Travis responded with, "My best friend, I love you. It’s you forever 🖤," which makes my heart melt.

Each picture features a candid BTS look at them cuddling and enjoying each other's presence, but they all share a common theme. These two are happily in love and are excited to be taking on the world together.

Alright, this was definitely an interesting Halloween makeup tutorial to do for y’all, but it had to be done! There seems to be a handful of pop culture-inspired opportunities to rep this look on Halloween. From Bey’s awesome sad streaks in her “Why Don’t You Love Me” music video to the repeated "Girls will cry and girls will lie" in Sabrina Carpenter's "Lie to Girls," you can pretty much turn anything into a sad version as long it’s done well. Whether you are going for a scary or gory look — BTW, you can totally switch out the black liner here for a red one to make this bloody eye makeup (Max Mayfield anyone?) — you’ll still look pretty. Sad, but pretty.

The Best Cry Makeup Ever

Brit + Co

See how good this looks?! Let's get into it.

Prep: Flawless Face + Smokey Eye

Brit + Co

Follow this tutorial to get your base makeup started. Add a pretty dramatic smokey eye. Layer up the eyeliner on both your upper and lower lash line — you’re going to need the extra pigment to help get those sad little makeup streaks to fall down your pretty little cheeks.

Step 1: Concealer

Brit + Co

Normally I say keep it light on the concealer so it does not get cakey or look too heavy. In this case, you are going to be adding water and messing with the under eye area more than normal, so you want to go a bit more dramatic in this department. Apply an upside-down triangle shape and then blend in with a brush.

Step 2: Visine

Brit + Co

Add a few drops of Visine to your lower lash line. Be sure to start off by focusing on one eye, because you want to take the next step immediately so you don’t lose the Visine drop.

Step 3: Smear

Brit + Co

Use a thin makeup brush to gently encourage your eyeliner to bleed in the same pattern that the Visine drops are falling down your face.

Step 4: Highlight

Brit + Co

Add a pop of deep silver metallic shadow to the inside corners of your eyes. This is going to give the highlight and dimension we want, but it'll maintain more of a moody vibe.

Step 5: Repeat

Brit + Co

Go through these same four steps on the other eye! Easy peasy.

Brit + Co

Get your acting skills on and have fun with this pretty cry baby look! Play your go-to sad tunes to really get into the mood.

Brit + Co

So. Sad. (But so pretty!)

Just like fantasy stories can transport us to new worlds, period dramas are one way to get a whole new (er, old) glimpse of the world you wouldn't see otherwise. Period dramas have their fair share of relationship drama and scandal, with some amazing outfits to boot. After you've watched (and rewatched) season 3 of Bridgerton, add one — or better yet, all — of these picks to your watchlist! Once you've figured out what you're pressing play on first, read up on why The Bridgerton Cast Is “Obsessed” With Claudia Jessie.

The Lady's Companion

Netflix

Take a step back to 1880s Spain with this Netflix show that follows Elena Bianda, Madrid's most in-demand lady's companion and a celebrated matchmaker. When she's invited to the Mencía household, and ends up falling for a man meant for a client, things get complicated. You'll want to read up on everything we know about season 2 after you watch.

Atonement

Universal Pictures

Every time I talk to my team here at Brit + Co about their favorite period dramas, Atonement always makes the list. And for good reason! It's an emotional, sweeping piece that feels like different genres as it moves from family drama to romance to a war epic. The cast includes names like Saoirse Ronan, James McAvoy, and Keira Knightley.

Little Women

Sony Pictures

Everyone can love this story, even if you don't have sisters — although being a sister has definitely made me love it even more. There are two versions I recommend: the 1994 version with Winona Ryder, Christian Bale, and Kirsten Dunst, or Greta Gerwig's 2019 version with Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, and Emma Watson.

In my opinion, Greta's version is a little bit more thought-provoking for the viewer, but between both film's arcs, I prefer the 1994 film's linear structure. You can't go wrong with either movie, so why not watch both?

Emily

Bleecker Street

My Letterboxd review after seeing Emily in theaters basically called this family the English, more tragic version of Little Women's March sisters. The celebration of creativity and identity feel even more powerful against the darker aesthetic and all of the painful experiences Emily Brontë lives through. Plus, it has one of the most emotional scores of 2023 that I've had on repeat ever since I watched it!

Mr. Malcolm's List

Bleecker Street

When Julia Thistlewaite gets rejected by London's most eligible bachelor (the titular Mr. Malcolm), she decides to turn her friend into his ideal match, and get a little bit of revenge while she's at it. Anyone who loves Bridgerton's costumes (and Princess Diana's revenge dress) is gonna want to add this to their queue.

Pride & Prejudice

Focus Features

Avid fans of Jane Austen's book (including yours truly) will likely give you two recommendations that each have their own viral scene: Colin Firth's lake diving in the 1995 BBC mini series or Matthew MacFadyen's hand flex after helping Keira Knightley into a carriage in the 2005 film. All jokes aside, both titles are wonderful celebrations of the story!

Belle

Searchlight Pictures

In this political, historical romance, Belle is the illegitimate, biracial daughter of a British admiral who's raised by her uncle. As she grows up alongside her cousin, Belle questions her identity as she realizes she belongs with neither the servants nor the family. And when she meets John, she becomes in integral part of the abolitionist movement in England.

Downton Abbey

PBS/NBC

If you love period pieces but prefer a slower pace, I'd recommend Downton Abbey. The stakes are high and some viewers still haven't gotten over the death of their favorite character (I'm talking about myself here), but I don't think it's as overstimulating as a lot of other dramas involving war, death, and relationships. Plus you literally CANNOT go wrong with Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess. The studio announced a third movie, so now is the perfect time to start the series!

Becoming Jane

Disney/Miramax

James McAvoy makes the list again with this semi-biographical film on Jane Austen's life. One of the best parts of any historical drama is when the main couple dances at a ball, and Becoming Jane has one of my favorite dances of all time. Fans of the author criticized the film when it came out, but if you go into it with an open mind, it's very enjoyable (and might just make you cry, too).

Marie Antoinette

Columbia Pictures

I finally watched Sofia Coppola's iconic film for the first time, and it was as much a feast for the eyes as I'd hoped. Kirsten Dunst stuns as the infamous queen, and in addition to the textured, maximalist visuals, the story did make me think about Marie Antoinette in a new way. Considering I've been obsessed with her since middle school, that's saying something!

Emma

Focus Features

If you love the visuals in Marie Antoinette, then I'm pretty sure you'll love this 2020 Jane Austen retelling. Every detail of the movie feels like its own piece of art (even the physical blocking and movements of the actors feels like a dance), and they all come together to create something cohesive, beautiful, and fun. You can also go for Gwyneth Paltrow's 1996 version or Clueless, which was inspired by Austen's book.

Sense and Sensibility

Columbia Pictures

With names like Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, and Hugh Grant, this movie has always felt wildly underrated, so consider this my official plea asking you to watch it. It's got everything: Family! Drama! True love! Taylor Swift also said during her Tribeca Film Festival talk in 2022 that it inspired her album Evermore, so there's that.

Why Didn't They Ask Evans?

BritBox

I love this miniseries so much that I watch it every year. At this point, it's a tradition! Lucy Boynton and Will Poulter are so fun together, and their banter will leave rom-com lovers giggling and kicking their feet. Plus the 1930s fashions are just SO good.

Let us know what your favorite period dramas are in the comments, and check out the 2025 Movies you can look forward to this year!

1. Kaos

Justin Downing/Netflix

Jeff Goldblum as Zeus

Where were you when you were first introduced to Zeus as being a valiant god who seemingly could do no wrong and how did you react when you realized he's kind of a jerk? Kaos does such a great job of showing his grandiose personality by way of Jeff Goldblum's amazing performance, but it's the other gods, goddesses and humans who add to the chaos.

In a dark, yet hilarious undertaking, Prometheus plans his revenge against Zeus for torturing him throughout the years and calls on a prophecy and 3 unsuspecting humans to help him take down the narcissistic ruler once and for all.

2. I Am Not Okay With This

Courtesy of Netflix

Sophia Lillis as Sydney Novak and Wyatt Oleff as Stanley Barber

I Am Not Okay With This deserved more than one season, but we'll settle for the only one that introduced us to a teen's hidden powers.

4. The Queen's Gambit

Phil Bray/Netflix

Anya Taylor-Joy as Beth Harmon

The Queen's Gambit was short-lived, but it's earned it's place on our "best TV shows to watch" list because it's hilarious and heartbreaking for many reasons. For one, Elizabeth Harmon's (Anya Taylor-Joy) world is turning upside down when she becomes orphaned at a young age. Secondly, her addiction to the pills given to the young girls at the orphanage isn't her fault because it's a daily occurrence that she didn't have a say so in. Above all this, Beth proves herself to be a witty young woman who's a highly skilled chess player.

Where to watch: Netflix

5. The Get Down

Courtesy of Netflix

Ezekiel as Justice Smith

If you're a musical theater lover like us, you'll love binge watching The Get Down! Set in the Bronx during the '70s, it revolves around teenagers and the tumultuous times they're growing up in. The one thing that seems to unite them is their love of music which leads them to from a group called "The Get Down Brothers." They have to face the strict rules of religion, ominous gangsters, and the reality of poverty's effects on their surroundings.

Where to watch: Netflix

6. How to Die Alone

Lindsay Sarazin/Hulu

Natasha Rothwell as

We were sad when we learned Natasha Rothwell's show How to Die Alone was canceled after one season, but that hasn't stopped us from revisiting her character Melissa's determination to live a full life. Similar to Survival of the Thickest, this series touches on the reality of working to survive and making the choice to stop waiting for miracles to drop in your lap.

Albeit slightly jarring that it takes a dear-death experience for Melissa to make better decisions, we can relate that sometimes we need jarring wake-up calls that push us to stop taking the passive approach to living.
