Lin-Manuel Miranda announced back in December, just weeks before his beloved abuela passed away, that he and his wife Vanessa Nadal were expecting their second child. Now the family’s healing can continue with the joyous arrival of baby number two.
The 38-year-old Hamilton creator shared the big news via Twitter, adding a very theatrical twist to his message: “Int. Hospital Room. Night. [The screams reach a delirious crescendo. FRANCISCO MIRANDA enters. He is 7 pounds and 13 ounces.] Intermission.”
That’s right! The little one is a baby boy, adorably named Francisco Miranda.
The Mary Poppins Returns star included a gorgeous black-and-white pic of his wife looking down at their newborn, who couldn’t possibly be any cuter. Seriously, is he smiling already?!

Miranda and Nadal (a brilliant lawyer and scientist) are already the proud parents of son Sebastian, who was born in 2014. Anyone who follows the Broadway phenom on Twitter knows that he often shares peeks into their adorable (and oh-so-relatable) lives.
Miranda shares the highs of parenting…

I told my son I had a bad dream and he replied,
"Sebastian not scared of dinosaurs."
