Um, Gavin Casalegno Is Married!

You might ship Jeremiah and Belly on The Summer I Turned Pretty, but actor Gavin Casalegno is officially off the market. On November 12, the actor hard launched his relationship on Instagram by announcing he had gotten married and the chats went crazy. The Vampire Diaries actor has been keeping things very low-key for over a year, so if this news surprises you, you're not alone!

Gavin wore a black tux while Cheyanne wore a gorgeous strapless gown with a gauzy train and separate, lacy sleeves. As for the veil? The bride wore white fabric over her neck over her shoulders. Gorgeous!

Naturally, the comments went crazy. "okay hard launch !!!!!" one reads, while another user says, "DID I MISS A COUPLE HUNDRED CHAPTERS????"

Gavin and Cheyanne have been together since (at least) spring 2023, when Cheyanne posted him on her Instagram stories. Since then Gavin (or at least, his hair) has popped up on her Insta grid — by the ocean, in Paris, and in the car. Even though Gavin never name dropped his SO at the time, he did talk about dating.

"I definitely have just learned to be more private, which is super interesting because I’m always out in public," he told Shondaland in 2023. "I had to really learn to navigate my own privacy and well-being. So, the quick fix for me is just deleting Instagram and all these apps to kind of check out, to be with my family and be with myself, to spend some time with the Lord — that’s really where I thrive.”

He also told Cosmopolitan that he's had to learn “what it means to just mature a little bit in the dating space."

"You’re dating to marry; you’re not dating to just date,” he said. “I think that gets lost a lot of times in younger generations. So I really try to be intentional with everything that I do as far as spending my time and gift giving and flirting and all these things. I really try to be intentional about it.”

Dax Shepard Asked Oscar Nominee Cynthia Erivo About Going To The Bathroom...For Some Reason

The Wicked moviepress tour has been a truly beautiful thing to witness. Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo have cried in almost every interview because of how much they love their characters and each other, and it seems like working on this project really did heal something in them. So, after the sincerity of their interviews, I was really taken aback when I learned Dax Shepard had Cynthia Erivo on his Armchair Expert podcast...and chose to ask her about going to the bathroom?

On an episode of his Armchair Expert podcast, Dax Shepard asked Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo if her famously long nails make it difficult to wipe when she goes to the bathroom. “I knew you would ask that,” Cynthia responds, saying “no one’s afraid” to ask such an intimate question.

“My answer is that nobody uses just their fingers to wipe their backside,” she says. “You use tissue, correct? And you wipe!”

When he asked if she was annoyed or offended by the question, Cynthia admits she's "annoyed by it."

“I'm, like, 'Come on, guys,' ” she says. “But I get it, but it's also, like, ‘I'm a functioning adult, and I've never walked around smelling like, you know…'"

The actress has proved she's nothing if not honest this fall, going viral for saying "thank goodness" the actresses who auditioned with her for Glinda didn't land the role and for vocalizinghow much a fan edit of the Wicked movie poster offended her (she later admitted she should have texted her friends instead of posting on social media).

Now, this question was very weird to me for a few reasons. Not only does it have nothing to do with the film, but Dax asking Cynthia about her bathroom habits gives me a similar feeling to the one I got watching that male interviewer ask Scarlett Johansson about her underwear during Avengers: Age of Ultron press. Just...what is the reason? Plus, the fact Cynthia has also been vocal about how much she values her nails as a part of Black culture only makes the question (and the fact the nails feel like, no pun intended, the butt of the joke) weirder.

"Here’s the thing," Cynthia tells Dax before switching topics. "There are people who do not have nails who need to check how they’re wiping." Get 'em girl!

Um, This Leak From 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3 Wasn't In Book 3

The Summer I Turned Pretty wouldn't be the series we know and love without Cousins Beach, but it appears that for season 3 of the hit Prime Video show, we're going to Paris too! After attending Paris Fashion Week, Lola Tung (who plays Belly) was seen filming with your favorite Fisher brother — and it's one scene that's not in the book.

Lola Tung and Gavin Casalegno (Jeremiah Fisher) were seen filming in front of Notre Dame. Belly's wearing a white tank and jeans, and carrying a suitcase and backpack, while Jeremiah's wearing jeans and a brown jacket. Book fans will remember that in We'll Always Have Summer, Belly and Jeremiah get engaged but call off the wedding at the last second when Jeremiah realizes Belly will always be in love with Conrad.

In college, Belly spends a few weeks in Spain, and strikes up a pen pal relationship with Conrad. Us Conrad girlies have known they were endgame since the very beginning, which is why this set leak is totally unexpected. It looks like Prime Video changed the location of Belly's travels from Spain to Paris, and I'm wondering if Jeremiah is trying to rekindle their relationship. (Unless they just run into each other like Blair and Chuck did in Gossip Girl).

The reunion in this clip ends in a hug, and fans in the comments are torn on whether it'll be a friendly hug or a romantic hug. Although, after two seasons of Jeremiah falling more and more in love with Belly, I'm not sure it's possible for him not to have romantic feelings toward her. At least, not for awhile.

All in all, The Summer I Turned Pretty fans have lost their minds over the new scene — especially considering Belly's time in Europe is merely mentioned in the books. Now it looks like we'll get to actually see what goes down! One TikTok comment also hints we'll see Conrad and Belly reunite in a hotel. Other TikTok users are losing it over how big Belly's backpack is, but I can promise you that when you travel around Europe, you want a backpack that huge!

All in all, I'm just hoping we see Belly explore and gain some life experience. "I for one would love several episodes of Belly's time in Spain [or Paris] maybe using it as way for her to get some space and perspective and finding herself along the way," one Reddit user says.

She'll definitely get to try out her French, and see tons of sites she's only read about before. Growing up in a small town and seeing the same group of people every year is so special, but exploring somewhere totally new is also invaluable. I want to see Belly fall in love with the view of Sacré-Cœur at sunrise. I want to see her try French food she hates in one bite, and then a pastry she can't live without in the next. Europe is the perfect place to fall in love with life — and it'll make Belly appreciate Cousins Beach even more.

In Babygirl, Nicole Kidman plays Romy, a powerful CEO struggling to hold her perfect persona together. Her marriage to Jacob has never provided with much pleasure, despite the fact he's caring and artistic. But when Romy meets a young intern named Samuel, and feels immediately drawn to him, the two begin a torrid affair.

And filming scenes with Harry Dickinson got so intense, Kidman said she literally had to take breaks. “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more,'” she told the Sun. “Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life!”

But the fact the movie was made by women empowered Kidman — and gave her a sense of freedom. "Doing this subject matter in the hands of the woman that wrote the script, that's directing it and is a really great actress herself — we became one in a weird way, which I'd never had with a director before," Kidman says in a statement. "When you're working with a woman on this subject matter, you can share everything with each other.”

"I really decided in the beginning, I want to make a sexual film, just as sexual as all these films that I've always admired so much," adds writer-director-producer Halina Reijn, "but now I'm going to do it completely through female eyes. What does that mean and what does that look like?”

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Nicole Kidman revealed Babygirl is the most "exposing" film she's done because she's “made some films that are pretty exposing, but not like this.”

“It left me raggedm" Kidman says. "At some point I was like, I don’t want to be touched. I don’t want to do this anymore, but at the same time I was compelled to do it...This is something you do and hide in your home videos. It is not a thing that normally is going to be seen by the world.”

“I felt very exposed as an actor, as a woman, as a human being,” she continues. “I had to go in and go out like, I need to put my protection back on. What have I just done? Where did I go? What did I do?”
