Love Is Blind is known for keeping things messy, but I've never seen a season quite like this one. From explosive arguments to crazy love triangles and everything in between, this season kept viewers on their toes. Past seasons have definitely had their fair share of drama, but I don't think anything has compared to this.
As we all still reel from that crazy finale and the reunion that came after, I have to declare I think this is the messiest and most unforgettable season to date. And don't worry, I've come armed with the receipts to back it up. Warning, though, spoilers ahead!
All the Uche, Aaliyah, & Lydia Craziness

Love Is Blind is known for throwing some crazy storylines at us, but man, the Uche, Aaliyah, and Lydia mess was something else! It was revealed early on in the season that Aalyiah and Uche had a connection and that Lydia was Uche's ex. This led to an insane amount of drama, with Aalyiah even leaving the show early.
When the three met up again on the reunion episode, Aaliyah shared just how much the Lydia reveal hurt her. She said "I felt I came here to have the genuine Love Is Blind experience, and I didn't get that." Considering Lydia befriended her without letting her know about her history with Uche, can we really blame Aaliyah for feeling robbed?
What made all of this even wilder was that Uche accused Lydia of only coming on the show to be near him! He tried to make her seem like she was obsessed with him. She denies this and says that "she had no confirmation that Uche was going to be there". Also, Milton (Lydia's now husband) thinks Uche is obsessed with their relationship.
Also, according to The Messenger, Uche didn't show up at the reunion because he thought it was going to be unproductive and he's not getting paid for that.
Could all of this be any messier?
Stacy Saying "I Don't" & All The Aftermath
I think I should have known things weren't going to end well for this couple after Izzy wrote a letter to Stacy that she read right before the ceremony. Before I tell you what it said, please keep in mind she reads this out loud in front of her own mother. It read "You never get complacey, you're so hot, I want to turn on the A/C, I wanna glue my hands to your boobs like a pasty." All I can say is I have severe secondhand embarrassment.
When it comes time to saying "I do", only Izzy manages to say it. Stacy says that saying "yes" to this marriage would be a disservice to their relationship and that they needed more time. They seal the non-marriage deal with a kiss, and it seems like everything is okay.
The reunion revealed, though, that this couple is no more. They went on a date a week after this incident, and the vibes were apparently off. Izzy asked Stacy if she was still in love with him, and she said "No, I'm not feeling it." Yikes. Izzy said he never really found out what changed for Stacy.
And, then, things got even messier. Only one week after their breakup, Izzy reconnected with his ex Johnie. They didn't get back together but they did try to work things out on multiple occasions. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this on Love Is Blind!
Everything To Do With JP and Taylor

Ugh, JP. Other than Uche, he was definitely this season's villain. Seeing him and Taylor's relationship crumble after JP revealed that he was uncomfortable with how much makeup she wore was one of the craziest moments in Love Is Blind history. The show has had plenty of jaw-dropping moments over the years, but this one definitely stands out as one of the messiest.
We found out that things were even worse than we saw during the season when Taylor shared her thoughts at the reunion. She told him "When I asked about our future -- as we saw -- he didn't answer. And on top of that, you belittled me and made me feel less than I am."
It seemed like this season was a battle of who could be the worst partner, Uche or JP.
Miriam's *Complicated* Life

If social media is going to do anything its call people out when they seem shady. People were not buying Miriam's explanations about her career and life, and she was draaaged for it. When talking to Uche, she can't seem to keep her story straight about where she lives or what she does.
First, she's in medicine, than she's in science academia, then she runs a skincare business. It's unclear whether she lives in the Middle East or in Houston. Nothing quite added up, so much so that TikTok users began creating flow charts to try to make sense of it all.
Of course, people have been dishonest on Love Is Blind before, but this was truly wild.
Lack Of Couples Staying Together

If anything proves how messy of a season this has been, it's how few couples managed to stay together by the end of it. The only couple still together is Milton and Lydia, who tied the knot in the finale.
Other than that, Uche and Aaliyah tried to give things one more try after the show concluded (Aaliyah, why do you do this to yourself?) but that ended for a number of reasons, including Uche telling other cast members she wasn't his physical type.
Is More Mess On The Way? Season 6 Updates

It has not been confirmed right now if there will be a season 6 of this fan-favorite reality show. Don't worry, though, an announcement could just be on pause right now as Netflix analyzes its viewership as well as resolves it current lawsuit by a former contestant.
If and when the next season is announced, it could drop as early as March 2024.
