Medical Dramas Are SO Back. Here Are 21 To Stream Right Now.

medical dramas

I might not have wanted to be a doctor growing up, but man oh man do I enjoy watching a medical drama. Something about the literal life-or-death stakes in the operating room makes the personal stakes feel even juicier, and thanks to shows like Doctor Odyssey and Grey's Anatomy, it's never been a better time to be a medical drama fan. Here are some of the best medical TV shows to give you the chance to scrub in — and where to stream them.

Doctor Odyssey — On ABC/Hulu

Tina Thorpe/Disney

Grey's Anatomy — On ABC/Hulu

Anne Marie Fox/Disney

You'd think by now we'd know what to expect from a day at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, but Grey's Anatomy season 21 has PLENTY of surprises in store. I'm still reeling from Mika's sister undergoing cancer treatment and potential fertility-saving treatment.

Tom Holland and Zendaya are the "it" couple right now, and they're both at the top of their game. Tom Holland took a recent break from acting and has been doing phenomenal charity work with his Brothers Trust foundation, while Zendaya's had hit after hit with Euphoria, Dune 2, and Challengers. And it looks like the couple, who met doing Spider-Man: Homecoming, could be doing another new Marvel movie. Here's everything we know about Spider-Man 4.

When is Spider-Man 4 coming out?

Matt Kennedy/Sony/Marvel

Spider-Man 4 (which remains untitled) will hit theaters on July 24, 2026. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsdirector Destin Daniel Cretton will take over from Jon Watts, who directed the first three movies.

One important thing to note about this release date is that it comes after Avengers: Doomsday, which a lot of fans are hoping will see Peter Parker come face-to-face with Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. Will the Avengers (and MJ) finally remember Peter? Will he be able to help the Fantastic 4 defeat Doom? Will this movie start a whole new trilogy? Tune in next July to find out!!!

Is Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 coming?

Emma McIntyre/Getty Images

Yes, we're getting a Spider-Man 4! Tom Holland finally confirmed the news during an October 22 appearance on The Tonight Show, and in true Tom fashion, already revealed a huge piece of news: the movie will start shooting next summer. "Everything’s good to go — we’re nearly there,” he said. “Super exciting. I can’t wait!”

Before the movie was confirmed, producer Amy Pascal told Variety (when asked if they're making a fourth film), “Of course, we are."

It might feel like a new movie conflicts with the fact Spider-Man: No Way Home set up an MCU without Tom Holland's Peter Parker, especially since Tom said he needed to take a break from acting after The Crowded Room "broke" him. ("I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was," he tells Extra.)

However, Tom's also been very vocal about how much Spider-Man means to him, and how much he loves the movies. He also told Variety at The Crowded Room premiere in 2023 that he was already “having meetings” about the next installment.

“The simple answer is that I’ll always want to do Spider-Man films,” Tom tells Deadline at the Sands Film Festival. “We have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until we’ve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect...The third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing.”

What has Tom Holland said about returning as Peter Parker?

Jay Maidment/Sony Pictures/Marvel

Tom Holland recently revealed that he's actually already read a script for Spider-Man 4 — and that he loved it! “We have a creative and we have a pitch and a draft, which is excellent,” he tells the Rich Roll Podcast (via Variety). “It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job. I read it three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we, at times, were bouncing around the living room like this is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.”

“One of the things is that, with Marvel, your film is a small cog in a large machine,” he continues. “That machine has got to keep running. You have to make sure you can fit into that timeline at the right time to benefit the bigger picture. That’s one of the challenges we’re facing. The time in which we need to get that done is a tall order but definitely achievable with the people we have working on it now.”

Peter Parker is one character fans take very seriously, and I know that with Tom and Zendaya at the front, this movie is going to be just as special as Spider-Man: No Way Home!

Will Zendaya be in Spider-Man 4?

JoJo Whilden/Sony Pictures/Marvel

Considering Euphoria season 3 starts filming in January (and based on the season 2 filming schedule could wrap by the summer), it's totally safe to assume Zendaya will return for Spider-Man 4. And fans are hoping for even more characters they love! "Hopefully Kingpin, Scorpion, Daredevil and Black Cat," says one Reddit user.

Forbes has also recently reported Sydney Sweeney could be joining the cast of Spider-Man 4. Sydney was in Madame Web earlier this year, and after rumors she booked the role thinking she was joining the MCU, this newest Tom Holland film would give her the opportunity to do just that. We could see her as Gwen Stacy, or as Felicia Hardy/Black Cat. Considering we've already gotten an extensive plotline surrounding Peter and Gwen in Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's universe, I'm hoping we'd see her as Felicia!

Has Spider-Man 4 started filming?

Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures/Marvel

Spider-Man 4 will start filming in "next summer" according to Tom Holland, which we're taking to mean the summer of 2025.

What will be the title of Spider-Man 4?

Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures/Marvel

We don't have an official name for Spider-Man 4 yet, but fans are already coming up with new ideas. Some fan titles include The Spectacular Spider-Man,Spider-Man: Homeless, and Spider-Man: Home Again. I'd love for Spider-Man 4 to continue with the "home" theme, but switching things up with a brand new title would provide a fresh feel we haven't gotten before. I'm excited to see what Marvel goes with!

What are the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies in order?

Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures/Marvel

Tom Holland has three Spider-Man movies, but he also shows up in some other MCU titles. If you want to watch all the movies Tom Holland plays Peter Parker, here's how you should watch them:

  • Captain America: Civil War
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming
  • Avengers: Infinity War
  • Avengers: Endgame
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home

What do you want to see in Tom Holland and Zendaya's Spider-Man 4? Let us know in the comments!

With the frenzy surrounding Netflix's Nobody Wants This (and Adam Brody's Hot Rabbi), I'm in the mood to rewatch all of the The O.C., if just to see Adam again. After all, Seth Cohen's witty, snarky personality is arguably the best part of the show. Well, I'm not the only one who loves seeing the "Adam Brody Renaissance" — his TV dad Peter Gallagher and his TV girlfriend Rachel Bilson do too!

  • Nobody Wants This has introduced Adam Brody to a whole new generation.
  • The O.C. star (and Adam's TV dad) Peter Gallagher says he's "proud of him all the time."
  • Rachel Bilson agrees the Adam Brody Renaissance has "always been there."

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images

During the opening night of his Broadway show Left on Tenth, Peter Gallagher told People just how proud he was of Adam Brody. “I wouldn’t go as far as being a proud dad, and I haven't seen the show, but I'm proud of him all the time as his friend and former TV dad,” he says. “And I'm not surprised at all [about the Adam Brody renaissance]. He's so talented and I'm glad he's still doing his thing.”

Despite the fact The O.C. is over 20 years old, Peter's character Sandy still gets my award for "Best TV Dad." He's so genuinely funny, but he also cares so deeply about Seth, his wife Kirsten, and their adoptive son Ryan. And when People asked what from the show has stuck with him, Peter admitted, “I just remember hearing Chrismukkah for the first time and thinking, ‘That’s brilliant. I think that’s gonna stick,’ and it did."

Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images

Rachel Bilson (who played Seth's girlfriend Summer and dated Adam IRL from 2003-2006) said in an interview with People earlier in October that she's pretty sure the Adam Brody Renaissance has "always been there," adding “I mean, he is awesome. He's the best.”

All I have to ask is, have y'all seen him in Shazam!? (He looked hot, okay bye.)

Nobody Wants This has proven Adam is one of the best around, and I couldn't agree more! But more important than my opinion? His wifeLeighton Meester! The Gossip Girl star told The Hollywood Reporterin 2019 just how much she enjoys spending time with him on set. (The two actors have appeared in projects like Single Parents, The Oranges, and River Wild together).

"He’s my best friend," she said in the interview. "I wanna work with him on everything, and I think he’s the best in everything." Swoon!

Read up on 10 Reasons Nobody Wants This Is The Best TV Show Of The Year just in case you need to be convinced to press play ;).

Despite the fact Daisy Jones & The Six was intended to be a limited series, one very special rockstar has an idea for a season 2: Stevie Nicks! While Daisy Jones wasn't directly based on Stevie's Fleetwood Mac, the TV show was somewhat inspired by the band, so I'll be paying very close attention to literally anything Stevie has to say.

Will there be a season 2 of Daisy Jones and the Six?

Lacey Terrell/Prime Video

Daisy Jones & The Six hasn't been renewed for season 2 (yet), but that didn't stop Stevie Nicks from pitching an idea to Hello Sunshine founder (and Daisy Jones producer) Reese Witherspoon.

"I wish that it could go into what if...had Billy come back after Billy's wife died and knocked on her door, and they decided to make that last record that I always hoped that Lindsey and I would make," Stevie said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "That would make a fantastic second season. I talked to [executive producer] Reese [Witherspoon] and [actress] Riley [Keough] about it, and they loved the idea, but everybody's so busy."

"Riley's on her way to becoming a big movie star," she continues. "But maybe one of these days, they'll do it. Until I saw Daisy Jones & The Six, I would have never thought it was even possible to emulate our life."

What has the rest of the cast said about a Daisy Jones season 2?

Lacey Terrell/Prime Video

Ahead of the 2023 Emmys, Riley Keough posted a tribute to the series and her cast mates. While they were scheduled to play a live show, the concert ended up getting canceled because of the Hollywood strikes.

"I have so much love for everyone in this band and on this show," she says. "Everyone on this show worked harder than I’ve ever witnessed on any project actually for years. You’re all winners to me. I feel so blessed to have spent time with all of you and when I lose tonight, I lose for you. 🤡😈🥇🥇🥇🥇"

Author Taylor Jenkins Reid also revealed she's “certainly thought” about a Daisy Jones & The Six season 2, and I need more info Taylor!!!

Where can I watch Daisy Jones & The Six?

Lacey Terrell/Prime Video

All 10 episodes of Daisy Jones & The Six are available to stream on Prime Video now! The show stars Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, Josh Whitehouse, and Sebastian Chacon.

Who is Billy Dunne based on?

Lacey Terrell/Prime Video

Billy Dunne is reportedly inspired by Lindsey Buckingham, the guitarist for Fleetwood Mac (who also happens to be Stevie Nicks' ex). And to add to the lore, yes, I'm talking about the guitarist from that viral "Silver Springs" clip.

Are any of the songs from Daisy Jones and the Six real?

Pamela Littky/Prime Video

Yes, Daisy Jones & The Six released an album of songs from the series in 2023! The album is called Aurora and you can find it on all streaming platforms. Here's the full tracklist:

  1. Aurora
  2. Let Me Down Easy
  3. Kill You to Try
  4. Two Against Three
  5. Look at Us Now (Honeycomb)
  6. Regret Me

It was detected because she took a heretofore not-that-known test called the lifetime breast cancer risk assessment test and they found that she had a 37 percent chance of breast cancer. And about a month later, she was having a double mastectomy. She shared her story to help anyone she could. According to the National Cancer Institute, in the week after Olivia shared the story of her breast cancer journey, there was a 4,000 percent increase in women visiting the breast cancer risk assessment. That was the first week. Olivia saving lives by speaking her truth is not surprising to me."
