Morning Buzz! Amanda Seyfried Just Secretly Eloped + More

TGIF, y’all! Get your day going with today’s top tidbits of news, which include a super-romantic secret elopement and the return of Tyra!

1. Amanda Seyfried is a married woman! Amanda Seyfried and her now-husband Thomas Sadoski eloped on Sunday, Sadoski confirmed to The Late Late Show host James Corden. The actor interrupted Corden to call Seyfried his wife and show off a new wedding band. “We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing. It was perfect,” he gushed. It’s been a whirlwind romance for the pair, who got engaged, got pregnant, and have now gotten married, all within the span of six months. Congrats to the happy couple! 2. She’s baaaaaack! Tyra Banks will return to ANTM as the head judge. After leaving the show last year and handing over the reigns to pop singer Rita Ora, Banks announced on Thursday that she would be returning to teach the world to smize for cycle 24. “I missed my ANTM baby so Mama’s back!” Banks tweeted. There were no hard feelings from Ora, who welcomed the OG host back by tweeting that it had been an “honor and pleasure” being on the show.

3.Marion Cotillard just welcomed a baby girl. Cotillard first announced she was expecting her second child with husband Guillaume Canet in the heat of the Brangelina divorce drama, when she was rumored to have caused the couple’s split. Luckily, the unwarranted buzz quickly dissipated, and Cotillard’s rep has confirmed to People that she and Canet have happily welcomed a new daughter into the world. So sweet! 4. Demi Lovato’s diamonds are sparking engagement rumors. Lovato and new BF, MMA fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, spent some super adorbs time in Disneyland for Vasconcelos’ birthday, and while their PDA snaps were to be expected, the solo selfie Lovato Snapchatted is the one we’re most curious about! In the shot, Lovato is wearing a diamond band on *that* finger. We know that isn’t necessarily a big deal, but it DOES make one curious! (Photo via Demi Lovato/Snapchat)

5. Urban Outfitters is in big trouble with Coachella for trademark infringement. UO sister site Free People is in some hot water after the retailer was found selling several Coachella themed items. This goes beyond “this fringed floral romper would be perfect for Coachella,” kinda thing, though: We’re talking items with the fest’s actual name in their title, such as the Coachella Mini Dress, Coachella Valley Tunic, Coachella Boot, and more. According to WWD, Coachella claims that UO is “trading on the goodwill and fame” of the festival, and is misdirecting customers through Google ads that display the products when searching for Coachella. Yikes! (Photo via Jason Kempin/Getty)

6. Quote of the day: “May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live.” A traditional Irish blessing for St. Patrick’s Day.

Remember when Stranger Things fans lost their marbles when Millie Bobby Brown announced she was engaged to Jake Bongiovi? It's us, we're fans because we grew to love the actress who stole our hearts as Eleven in a semi-dystopian series, and couldn't wait to hear all about her budding relationship. We took time to process the news and quickly warmed up to her nuptials because we realized Millie isn't a teenager with telekinetic powers. She's a real person who deserves to live life on her terms, including having a beautiful relationship (and wedding!).

For the first time ever, Millie's opened up about her special day and we're living for the special nugget she gushed about in her Vanity Fair cover feature.

Here's are all the sweet details Millie Bobby Brown shared about her wedding day!

Cindy Ord/Getty Images

According to The Sun, Millie and Jake said "I do" in a private ceremony last May before having a more publicized wedding in Italy (via Marie Claire). While their closest family and friends were in attendance, our jaws hit the floor when we learned Matthew Modine — "Papa" from Stranger Things officiated their gorgeous wedding.

The couple weren't shy about sharing a BTS look at their love-filled day, but we're living for the one thing she and Jake did.

In her Vanity Fair interview, Millie revealed she and Jake tapped into their inner musicians by singing and dancing to Grease songs! "It's a five-six-minute dance routine that we choreographed ourselves," she said. The songs in question were "Summer Nights," "You're the One That I Want," and "We Go Together," which is fitting for the love they have. But here's where it gets interesting: the couple changed 7 times! "I was in my Sandy jumpsuit, and he was in this cool T-shirt, pants, and really shiny shoes."

Matthew Modine even shared his thoughts about Millie and Jake's entertaining wedding day. He said, "It was absolutely sublime" before admitting he was "emotional...during the vows." His reasoning has everything to do with watching Millie blossom into the "beautiful and thoughtful adult" she is today.

"I was with her when she first met young Jake. And now she's beginning a whole new life with such a kind man."

For Millie and Jake, being "united" has been pivotal for their union. "We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we're looking for, the kind of careers we want," the actress said. That's why she she and Jake didn't take their decision about marriage lightly. "...we wanted to make sure we were making the right one." She even shared Jake's "the first man" she's "been in love with."

Excuse us while we swoon over their wedding details — and sweet love for each other!

Summer rom-coms are so back! A24 confirmed on March 4 that Celine Song's Materialists, starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal, is coming to theaters this June and I cannot contain my excitement. The new movie follows a matchmaker (Dakota) who finds herself torn between two romantic prospects. If that's too dramatic for you, girl, I'd be happy to take your place.

Here's the latest update on Materialists starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal.

Is Materialists out yet?

Materialists will premiere in theaters June 13, 2025. After Past Lives became THE summer movie in 2023 (and absolutely wrecked my roommates), I know Materialists is going to be the perfect June watch.

What is the plot of Materialists?

The movie follows Dakota Johnson's character, a matchmaker in New York City who falls for the perfect man, but can't seem to let go of her ex. Given the fact the first poster for the movie includes "save the date" and looks like a wedding cake, I'm wondering if we'll see all three characters cross paths at a wedding...

What has the cast said about the movie?

When I asked Dakota Johnson about working with Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans, she teased how much she enjoyed working with them. "They're both big idiots and I love them," she told Brit + Co exclusively at her Daddio premiere.

Where was Materialists filmed?

Materialists was filmed around New York City, which means the movie's going to have so much life and energy in every single shot. Plus Dakota's sundresses are totally giving Brooklyn gal — and I'm dreaming of prancing around the city in a dress as soon as the weather warms up!

Are you as excited for Materialists as I am? Let us know your favorite rom-coms in the comments and check out the latest news on Madelyn Cline's new romance movie for more!

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith shocked fans when their "perfect" marriage seemed to implode in 2020 following the revelation the latter was involved in an "entanglement" with R&B singer August Alsina (via New York Post). Alsina alleged he'd had a permissive conversation with Will Smith that led to his fling with Jada Pinkett Smith: "I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership…he gave me his blessing."

This, along with candid revelations on Pinkett-Smith's former showRed Table Talk, made fans believe she was the cause for her marriage's demise, but both her and Will Smith's memoirs revealed a closer look behind their celebrity facades. Not only did Jada seem to sacrifice a lot, but Will Smith made it clear he's not the saint people think he is.

Their marriage may be unconventional, but they're making it work despite new reports they're no longer living together (gasp).

Here's the latest juicy details about Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith's marriage status.

How long have Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith been living apart?

Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images and Kevin Winter/Getty Images

We shouldn't be surprised that Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith aren't under the same roof, but it's still startling. According to PEOPLE, even though they “are still together,” the couple "have had separate homes for years."

Do they plan to get divorced in the future?

David Livingston/Getty Images

This is where things get confusing because Will and Jada have been separated since 2016. When the latter dropped this bombshell news last year on the Today show, fans weren't sure they could trust the couple's public images anymore. It didn't help that they're against divorcing each other either.

As of now, People's source saidthe couple are doing what works for them. "Call it what you want. They are living their own lives but haven’t completely severed ties."

What have they said about their marriage in the past?

David Livingston/Getty Images

Jada Pinkett Smith appeared on an episode of the PRETTYSMARTpodcast last year where she revealed more about her and Will's marriage. "Marriage is not a fairy tale. It's not. It's devastating and I fought, and I screamed, and I scratched for a long time," she said before adding, "As much as Will and I have tried to get away from each other, it's not happening."

Will Smith also offered his own thoughts about their marriage last year by saying, "When you’ve been with someone for more than half your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in,” he said (via Variety). He also said it doesn't take much to "lose your sensitivity" to "hidden nuances and subtle beauties."

How long have Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith been married?

Will and Jada have been married for almost 28 years after tying the knot in 1997 (via Brides). That's almost 3 decades of intertwined lives so we understand why they're not 100 percent willing to turn their backs on each other.

Only time will tell if they decide if their marriage is truly worth saving or if it's time to call it quits.

Do you think it's time for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to breakup or should they continue making things work? Share your thoughts with us on Facebook!
