You Need to See This Russian Oligarch’s Daughter’s Custom Wedding Dress

Wedding season is in full effect, and that means LOTS of wedding dress inspo to save to your pinboards. Between the gown Ally Hilfiger created with dad Tommy Hilfger and Victoria Swarovski’s insane crystal-covered masterpiece, there’s certainly been plenty to ogle this summer. Russian bride Lolita Osmanova, however, may have just topped them all with a gown with a train so massive, it didn’t fit on the pulpit.

Osmanova, daughter of energy tycoon Eldar Osmanova, wed her love Gaspar Avdolyan in an intricately beaded, custom creation by Lebanese-designer Zuhair Murad.

The big dress came with a reveal to match. Before her walk down the GOLDEN aisle, the bride stood behind two red curtains, which then parted to reveal her standing before a wall of flowers. Eat your heart out, Kimye. Osmanova was a vision in the off-the-shoulder, gold-hued piece, which was embellished with plenty of beading to match her trendy headpiece.

Then, there’s the train, which was another story entirely — it was so long it draped off the side of the stage!

And naturally, with a wedding of this caliber, the bride had a couple of wardrobe changes, including a fun ’40s inspired frock complete with fringe and feather detailing and a white ballgown complete with a black sash.

The wedding took place at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and featured a line of classic violinists and an insane spread of flowers. In total, the lavish wedding cost more than $10 million, which, in addition to the bride’s gorgeous gown(s), included a 10-tier wedding cake, $500,000 worth of floral arrangements, and performances by both Jason Derulo and Lady Gaga (!!).

Whew. Now that’s some party!

The only thing keeping me from being upset about A Court of Thorns and Roses TV show being canceled is how well Hulu handled it's newest thriller, Paradise. Created by screenwriter Dan Fogelman (This Is Us) and starring Sterling K. Brown, it's a murder mystery with dystopian undertones that explores what could happen if states become uninhabitable.

Besides feeling relevant to our current timeline, Paradise has a soundtrack that rivals Strangers Things and leaves viewers wanting more. Fortunately, Hulu got the memo and renewed it for season 2 — thank goodness!

Here's everything to know about Paradise season 2!

Who's a part of the cast for Paradise season 2?

Disney/Cristian Lopez

Sterling K. Brown is already slated to return as Agent Xavier Collins (of course), but there's more new cast members in town! Deadline reports Shailene Woodley (Divergent, The Fault in Our Stars, and Big Little Lies) will be starring in Paradise season 2. According to the outlet, there's a chance she'll be one of the survivors that exist outside of Paradise (the bunker's community name) and will meet Agent Xavier Collins.

Additionally, Deadlinealso shared Michael McGrady (Ray Donovan), Thomas Doherty (Tell Me Lies) and Timothy Omundson (Supernatural) will make regular appearances throughout the show. The outlet is confident they're going to be in a gang that'll have a prominent affect on Paradise season 2's storyline (via Deadline).

I can't wait to see everyone in action!

Has Paradise season 2 began filming?

I'm pinching myself because Paradise season 2 has started filming! Dan Fogelman shared the amazing news on his Instagram and his comments are buzzing with excitement! "We’re baaaaaaaack. #Paradise#S2," he wrote which means we could see Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nichols on our screens sooner than anticipated.

This comes after an update Fogelman shared with a hopeful fan on X. In response to a fear viewers would have to wait a long time to see more action from our new favorite characters, Fogelman put all fears aside. "we start shooting in just a few weeks. It won’t be 2 years I promise! #Paradise," he said.

When does Paradise season 2 premiere?

Disney/Brian Roedel

Filming just started for Paradise season 2, so a premiere date for it hasn't been shared yet. But at the rate Fogelman's going, we could possibly see the thriller series on Hulu towards the end of the year or at the beginning of 2026!

For now, fans can rewatch Season 1 on Hulu or when it appears on ABC April 7 at 10:00 p.m. (via The Hollywood Reporter).

What is Paradise about?

Disney/Brian Roedel

Paradise begins in an idyllic community where homes are picturesque, streets are clean, and everyone lives in perfect harmony. However, it doesn't take long for the peace to be disturbed when the President is discovered murdered by his trusted Secret Service agent Xavier Collins.

Before long, he begins questioning the world he and his children live in while also searching for clues about his missing wife.

Who was in the Paradise season 1 cast?

Disney/Brian Roedel

Paradise Season 1 had a stacked cast! Besides Sterling K. Brown, there's other familiar faces who helped with the show's equilibrium.

  • Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins
  • James Marsden as President Cal Bradford
  • Julianne Nicholson as "Sinatra"
  • Krys Marshall as Robinson
  • Sarah Shahi as Dr. Gabriela Torabi
  • Jon Beavers as Billy Pace
  • Nicole Brydon Bloom as Jane Driscoll
  • Aliyah Mastin as Presley Collins
  • Percy Daggs IV as James Collins
  • Charlie Evans as Jeremy Bradford
  • Richard Robichaux as Carl

What's happened in Paradise so far?

Disney/Brian Roedel

Wow, where do I begin?!

After it was revealed that the community he and everyone else lives in has been artificially created due to a disaster, the brief moments of unease Collins shows begins making sense. It's clear he and President Cal ended on bad terms before his death, but it doesn't seem like he was responsible for murdering the man he was sworn to protect.

What's odd is that Sinatra, the mastermind behind the beautiful community they live in, has been playing puppet master. She ordered the deaths of scientists sent to the surface to test the air quality AND she made sure Agent Billy was blindsided by his love interest's manipulation. Upsettingly, his murderer is none other than seemingly docile and clueless Agent Jane.

Viewers were also introduced to President Cal's father and were able to see how much he never wanted to be the face of the country. Though his father appears to have dementia, it's clear he feels guilty about something and may have seen who killed his son.

When did the season finale of Paradise season air?

Disney/Brian Roedel

Paradise left off on several cliffhangers on Hulu March 4!

How many seasons of Paradise will there be?

Disney/Brian Roedel

Dan Fogelman already knows what he wants to do with Paradise! He said, "I have a plan for three seasons of the show. Without giving away too much, each season of the show is a slightly different show, within the same show with the same characters," (via The Hollywood Reporter).

While we're all sad about The White Lotus season 3 coming to a close following the shocking finale, there is some good news: the show was already renewed for a fourth season! That means fans of the drama and debauchery will definitely be getting another fix soon. But where will our next dose be set?

All three iterations of The White Lotusthus far have been set in tropical destinations, with filming at The Four Seasons. According to executive producer David Bernad, the series continues to use this specific luxury resort chain since they were "the one hotel that let us shoot there."

Let's do a quick recap: season 1 was set in Hawaii, season 2 was in Italy, and season 3 was, of course, Thailand. These locales aren't chosen at random, either, but are rather picked to match each season's theme.

"For example, Koh Samui was not only chosen for its visually stunning environment overlooking the Gulf of Thailand but also for its thematic alignment with the season's exploration of Eastern spirituality and existential themes," detailed the chief commercial officer of Four Seasons Hotels, Marc Speichert.

However, fans have noticed how creator Mike White hasn't repeated any continents. Plus, each of the past filming locales was tropical, which may suggest the next season will go against the grain in a chillier region. With all this in mind, here are the locations rumored to be top contenders for The White Lotus season 4.

Here are the top locations we think The White Lotusseason 4 could take place!

1. Mexico or Egypt

Taryn Elliott

While these two destinations are thousands of miles apart, we're grouping them together for one main reason: an insider spoke to Parade and claimed the show's producers were scouting both spots.

"Right now, it's looking like the next season of The White Lotus will be shot in Egypt or Mexico. They want to pick somewhere they haven't shot yet, so a new continent. They want to go somewhere completely new since this season is in Asia, which is why they're between the two. The decision should be made soon," the insider alleged.

This would make sense, given that both Mexico City and Punta Mita have The Four Seasons.

2. Australia

Mudassir Ali

Another possible option is Australia. In fact, Mike White admitted it would be his "dream" to hit every single continent with the show.

"We kind of have to come to Australia if we keep going. It would be so fun. Obviously, there's a huge wealth of talent here, and the beauty is inarguable, so it feels like it checks all the boxes," he shared. (via Yahoo! News)

3. Norway

Lastly, I'm sure that a colder destination, like Norway, would help infuse brand-new antics into The White Lotus. Mike White supposedly scouted locations in the country, too, and reportedly spoke to the Norwegian Film Institute about a grant to film on location.

Unfortunately, though, executive producer David Bernad doesn't think it's actually in the cards, pointing out how Mike White isn't a fan of the cold.

During an appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast, he continued, "[Mike] is a California guy. He is not built for the cold. Never say never, but I would be surprised."

If The White Lotus remains so successful, it seems inevitable that the show will eventually have to venture to a non-tropical locale. But, for now, there are still plenty of filming location options, and we'll just have to stay tuned regarding where the season 4 batch of entitled travelers goes next.

It's been nearly a year since Bridgerton season 3 came out, chronicling the love story between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington as she wrestles under the weight of a big secret.

The highly anticipated two-part season concluded last June, and sadly, there still isn't an official release date for Season 4. According to Netflix, the next iteration of Bridgerton will center on Benedict Bridgerton meeting his love interest and feature eight episodes. Nonetheless, it may be a while (like 2026) until we get to dive into the Regency era yet again.

In the meantime, though, there is some good news: another Netflix series, TheLady's Companion, might just be able to fill that void. The Spanish period drama debuted on March 28, is set in 1880s Madrid, and has already received a ton of praise, with one fan tweeting, "If you love Bridgerton, you have to watch The Lady's Companion. It's so good, it has me giggling."

Here's what to know!

Scroll to find out everything you need to know about The Lady's Companion on Netflix!

What is 'The Lady's Companion' about?

Netflix

The Lady's Companion follows Elena Bianda, played by Nadia de Santiago, a 35-year-old actress from Spain who is most well-known for her role in Las Chicas Del Cable (The Cable Girls) from 2017 to 2020. Elena is Madrid's most in-demand lady's companion and a celebrated matchmaker with a reputation for guiding 20 women into "proper courtships and engagements."

Her life's passion is seeing her protégées become happily married. Yet, when she's invited to the Mencía household to identify suitable beaus for three sisters, things take an unexpected turn. Elena actually finds herself falling for a man named Santiago, who was originally meant for one of her clients, and gets tossed into a whirlwind of romance, secrets, and scandal.

Who's in 'The Lady's Companion' cast?

Netflix

Santiago is portrayed by 28-year-old Álvaro Mel, who played the lead role of Alex Ventura in La Fortuna, a 2021 adventure drama limited series. Other cast members include:

  • Isa Montalbán
  • Zoe Bonafonte
  • Tristán Ulloa
  • Iratxe Emparan
  • Gracia Olayo

When is 'The Lady's Companion' set?

Netflix

While the aesthetic and plot line of the show may feel reminiscent of Bridgerton, which is set between 1813 and 1827, TheLady's Companion coincides with the Alphosine era and the Restoration period, giving viewers a fresh take on another intriguing time in history. The first season has eight episodes, which are all around 40 minutes long and available for streaming on Netflix.

Will 'The Lady's Companion' get a season 2?

Netflix

Now, if you happen to love this show as much as Bridgerton, there is (thankfully) hope for a second season. Gema R. Neira, the creator of the series, revealed that the writers were already "working on it."

To be clear, nothing has been confirmed just yet! But given the first season's cliffhanger ending and "to be continued" message right before the credits, it seems in the cards. In the meantime, tune into Season 1 of The Lady's Companion, which currently has a 7.3-star rating out of 10 on IMDb.
