‘Orville’ Costars Scott Grimes and Adrianne Palicki Are Engaged

A showmance for the ages! Scott Grimes and Adrianne Palicki, who costar on the Fox sitcom The Orville, revealed on Thursday, January 17, that they’re engaged.

“So happy to spend my life with you @ScottGrimes,” Palicki tweeted with a photo of the couple snuggling up on the couch and showing off her brand-new diamond engagement ring. She added the hashtags “#ido” and “#iloveyou,” too.

The actors have starred on Seth MacFarlane’s science-fiction comedy on Fox since it premiered in September 2017. While it’s unclear when they started dating, Palicki posted a pic of them getting close during San Diego Comic-Con 2018, seemingly confirming their relationship status.

Several fans and friends took to Twitter to congratulate the happy couple, including Walking Dead actor Michael Traynor and actress Michaela McManus, who has appeared on The Orville in a recurring role. Television host (and former Bachelor star) Bob Guiney, for one, said he “couldn’t be happier” for the couple, to which groom-to-be Grimes jokingly responded, “Yes you could.”

This will be the first marriage for Palicki, best known for her role as Tyra Collette on Friday Night Lights. She was previously engaged to Jackson Spidell, whom she met on the set of the Keanu Reeves-starring John Wick in 2014. Grimes has been married twice before, to Dawn Bailey-Grimes, with whom he shares two children, and to makeup artist Megan Moore, from 2011 to 2017.

‘Survivor’ Stars Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn Thomas Are Engaged!

Reality TV love stories don’t always start on dating shows! Survivor stars Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn Thomas announced their engagement on Tuesday, April 9, in a pair of adorable posts on Instagram.

“Yes #forever. @sierra_dawn_,” Anglim wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of him on bended knee and kissing his new fiancee’s left hand as he shows off the diamond ring. Thomas also shared a picture of the ring, a teardrop-shaped sparkler, writing, “Forever and ever, amen.”

The Survivor costars first met in 2014 when they both competed on Survivor: Worlds Apart in Nicaragua. They didn’t date right away, though — in fact, Thomas voted Anglim off during their stint together. Things turned romantic last year, and the bride-to-be told People that the proposal was a total surprise.

“He was explaining his love for me, and I would say, ‘yeah, baby. I love you too!'” Thomas said. According to People, they were on their way back to Utah from Anglim’s sister’s wedding in Arizona over the weekend when they stopped to camp for the night.

“We found the perfect swinging chair facing the mountains and the most beautiful sunset,” Thomas divulged. “But then he got off the swing, reached into his coat, and got on one knee. It finally hit me what he was doing. I started crying, and he started crying! We were both crying.”

On January 8, 2025, sources spilled to TMZ about Jessica Alba and Cash Warren's separation. The sources shared that the couple is allegedly "moving forward" with a divorce, so unfortunately it doesn't seem like this split is a short-term solution.

TMZreported that both Jessica and have gone in public without wedding rings recently — Jessica as recent as the Golden Globes afterparties on January 5, 2025. Apparently, one of the last times the two were spotted publicly was back in November 2024. Outside of that, the couple celebrated their son's birthday at Universal Studios together in January, but it's unclear how official the separation was at that point.

According to PEOPLE, Jessica and Cash got engaged in 2007, after meeting on the set of Fantastic Four back in 2004. They got married and stayed together for 16 years, welcoming three children to their family: Honor (16), Haven (13), and Hayes (7).

Back in 2021, Alba told PEOPLE that they tend to "over-communicate" in order to best support each other and their different needs. She said that they don't have a "secret" to making it work — they "just need to check in with each other."

Whatever happens next, we hope that Jessica, Cash, and their kids are able to find peace and happiness throughout this major transition.

Issa Rae’s ‘Insecure’ Costars Had the Cutest Reaction to Her Rumored Engagement to Louis Diame

It looks like wedding bells may soon be ringing for Issa Rae, as the Insecure star and creator is reportedly engaged to longtime boyfriend Louis Diame. Rae herself has not confirmed the engagement, but her costars couldn’t resist gushing over the couple on the red carpet at the NAACP Image Awards this past weekend.

“The reaction was all the same, like, ‘You out here in these streets getting married, boo!?'” Yvonne Orji, who plays Rae’s on-screen best friend Molly, told ET. “That was the reaction. We’re very excited for her.”

Jay Ellis, who plays Rae’s on-and-off boyfriend Lawrence on the hit HBO comedy, revealed that the engagement news spread slowly among the show’s cast. “We all found out in different ways because we’re all on different text chains,” he said. “We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways.”

Rumors first surfaced that the pair were engaged after Rae appeared on the cover of Essence magazine wearing a sparkling diamond ring. The actress has not yet commented, preferring to keep her personal life out of the spotlight.

During an appearance on The View on Monday, April 1, the Little star was asked point blank about the ring but brushed off the questions with a laugh. “I’ve got a lot of rings on my finger,” she quipped. “I wear jewelry, you know?”

The 5 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Movies, Ranked From Phenomenal To Tragic

The 2000s was a golden age for all kinds of fantasy movies. Think the Narnia trilogy, Harry Potter, and of course, Pirates of the Caribbean. Not only did it have me dreaming of a tropical vacation but who didn't fall in love with Orlando Bloom as Will Turner? The first film was so successful it led to a whole series (and a redesign of the Disney World ride that inspired it), not to mention the fact Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow has been cemented in pop culture history forever!

Here's the official Brit + Co ranking of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, from best to worst.

1. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl'

Yeah, the first film totally takes the cake as the best Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It has a super solid script, and introduces us to characters who feel three-dimensional, engaging, and memorable. Jack Sparrow and Will Turner search for Captain Barbossa, who's taken Jack's ship (alongside his past crew, who are now undead) and kidnapped Elizabeth Swann, Will's love.

2. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End'

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is such an emotional experience that I have to put it at number 2. It's the perfect conclusion to the original trilogy, and follows Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa as they set off to find Jack. It's got everything: romance, adventure, humor. And Elizabeth becoming Pirate King? 2007 me was shook.

3. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest'

The third spot on this list just has to go to the second installment of the OG trilogy. In this Pirates of the Caribbean movie, our favorite pirates are all hunting for the heart of Davy Jones: Jack hopes to avoid becoming Davy's slave, while Will wants to free his father. It's fun and opens with a crazy scene as Will and Elizabeth's wedding is interrupted by Lord Beckett arresting them.

4. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'

The latest installment of the Pirates franchise (which was released in 2017) comes in at four. As Jack searches for Poseidon's Trident to defeat Captain Salazar, Will's son Henry teams up with astronomer Carina Smyth to help defeat the dangerous enemy. I love how this film brings Will and Elizabeth back (even if it's only for a bit), and I think the whole story is the perfect treat for fans of the series.

5. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'

In the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Jack and Barbossa are looking for the fountain of youth, only to learn they're up against Blackbeard and his daughter. Unfortunately, Will and Elizabeth are nowhere to be found, which means this movie just doesn't have the same magic as the originals (even though Sam Claflin has my heart).
