15 Parfait Popsicles You Can Eat Any Time of Day

Once you get into the depths of summer, even turning the stove on to make breakfast is a total drag. There are several cold options for your first meal of the day, like chilly smoothie bowls or quick overnight oats, for example. But if you want to get serious, a frozen breakfast parfait popsicle is your best bet for a truly fast and frigid meal. Don’t think you can only have them for breakfast, though — oh no. They’re the perfect snack AND the perfect fruity summer dessert too. Now that you’re sufficiently salivating, here are 15 parfait popsicles that you can eat from dawn ’til dusk.

1. Layered Popsicles: Why choose between multiple fruits for your popsicle when you can have them all? With just a quick rinse of your blender, you can have beautiful fruit purees layered with yogurt and frozen to perfection. (via A Homemaker’s Diary)

2. Nectarine and Greek Yogurt Popsicles: The popsicles that you know and love just got a *major* grown-up makeover. With gourmet ingredients like olive oil, sea salt and cardamom, these pops are sure to be a fancy start to your day. (via Sonima)

3. Blueberry Peach Smoothie Pops: These pops clock in at under 50 calories apiece, so it may be tempting to gobble up one after another. Save the brain freeze for another day and share these with your very thankful friends and family. (via Samantha’s Kitchen Table)

4. Chia Seed Popsicles With Pineapple and Coconut: This beach-meets-breakfast treat is the tropical way to get going in the morning, or get a sweet afternoon pick-me-up. If you think that a cup of joe is the only way to perk you up… think again. (via Jessica Gavin)

5. Fig and Strawberry Yogurt Pops: A drizzle of honey over the top of these yogurt pops serves as an adhesive for all the nuts your little heart desires. Chopped figs and strawberries stud the inside for a truly Greek-inspired delicacy. (via Figs and Feta)

6. Yogurt Granola Banana Pops: Your perfect pop has been right in front of your face this whole time, and you didn’t even know it. Instead of having a bowl of granola with a dollop of yogurt and a chopped banana for breakfast, rearrange things a bit. Just freeze a banana on a stick, dip in yogurt and roll in your favorite granola. Super easy and loved by all! (via Diethood)

7. Green Smoothie Breakfast Popsicles: A green smoothie is so much more appealing when it’s in popsicle form, amirite? In addition to kale, this popsicle sports green grapes and green tea to give it more nutritional value and a vibrant hue. (via The Floating Kitchen)

8. Berry Parfait Yogurt Popsicles: There’s such great satisfaction in making your own popsicles at home, especially when they actually serve a nourishing purpose. These are so well rounded, you’ll feel totally comfortable giving them to even the tiniest popsicle lovers. (via Well Plated)

9. Mango and Yogurt Popsicles: Whether you choose to layer your mango and yogurt or you’re feeling lazy and swirl them all together, you’ll still get an incredible flavor that tastes like a vacation. If you’re feeling a little bit of spice, you can add a pinch of cayenne to the yogurt. (via A Sweet Muddle)

10. Muesli Breakfast Popsicles: Since these are made with Greek yogurt, you’ll get the protein necessary to power through the day. Coupled with muesli and fresh fruit, they’re the ultimate warm-weather breakfast that will make your carpool *totally* jealous. (via The Merrythought)

11. Nutella Yogurt Parfait Breakfast Popsicles: A little bit of Nutella for breakfast never hurt anyone. Plus, it’s totally justifiable when paired with yogurt, berries and granola. (via Baking a Moment)

12. Fruity Yogurt Parfait Popsicles: On a lazy Sunday, grab the kiddos and make several batches of these popsicles with different fruits and granola variations. When it comes time to grab a pop on a steamy summer day, you’ll be so happy you took the time to prep a bunch. (via Vintage Kitty)

13. Perfect Parfait Yogurt Pops: Kiwis make a beautiful addition to any popsicle because of their unique color and distinct black seeds. If you haven’t been fond of kiwi in the past, this would be the perfect time to give it another go; the yogurt mellows out the flavor a bit, so it’s not as intense as eating the fruit whole. (via A Million Moments)

14. Yogurt Parfait Breakfast Popsicles: If you struggle to eat breakfast, parfait pops might just make you a convert. Since they take longer to eat, they’re easy on sensitive stomachs that typically tend to skip the morning meal. If you can’t have dairy, any milk-alternative yogurt would work just fine. (via Feast and West)

15. Fruity Popsicle Crunch Bars: Instead of sprinkling granola on your popsicles, try dipping them in your favorite cereal. These are topped with Special K, but the potential fruit and cereal combos are endless. How about lime and strawberry froyo pops dipped in Fruity Pebbles next? (via Sweet and Delish)

Lately, I’ve been paying closer attention to my grocery receipts. It’s not just the price of eggs — everything feels more expensive, and it's made me think more intentionally about how to make my food last longer. I’ve always hated wasting food. Not only is it tough on the planet, it’s tough on my budget, too. Americans toss out about 38 percent of our food — that’s the equivalent of 145 billion meals ending up in landfills (yikes!). Sure, a big chunk of that comes from restaurants, but even at home, being mindful of waste feels like a win for both the environment and my wallet.

So, instead of putting my groceries away haphazardly, I want to make sure I'm storing everything exactly how — and where — it should go. Luckily, I've learned there are some foods that actually last longer outside of the fridge. And they might surprise you!

Scroll to see the foods you don't need to refrigerate after all...

1. Cucumbers

I have never left cucumbers outside the fridge, but it turns out that this can cause them to become too watery. Instead, find an airtight containerand store them in your pantry or countertop. Then toss them in this colorful Greek Salad!

2. Bell Peppers

Stashing bell peppers in the fridge can actually make them lose their crunch (who knew?). For peak crispness, keep them at room temperature and enjoy within one to two days. If you're not planning to eat them that quickly, pop them in the fridge to help prevent them from going soft too soon.

3. Basil

Store your basil as you would a fresh bouquet of flowers, in a jar with water. Cold temps can cause basil leaves to turn black, so it’s better off out of the fridge.

4. Butter (And Peanut Butter!)

According to the USDA, butter is best used within a day or two at room temperature to preserve its flavor. When I lived in San Francisco, I could leave it out on the counter year-round without worrying about it melting. Now that I’m in a hotter climate, I keep it out most of the year — just not during the peak of summer. Peanut butter also does well at room temperature, staying smooth and spreadable for up to three months (after which you'll need to refrigerate it).

5. Tomatoes

I grew tomatoes in my garden for the first time last year, and nothing beats the taste of one plucked straight from the vine. To keep that juicy , sun-ripened flavor going, store your tomatoes at room temperature on the counter — not in the fridge. Cold temps can dull their flavor and texture. Try making a simple Tomato Confit recipe to drizzle over bread or pasta, yum!

Gil Ndjouwou

6. Avocados

A friend and I were debating whether avocados belong in the fridge — turns out, they don’t. At least, not until they’re ripe. I eat one almost every day, so I go through them fast, but once they ripen, I pop them in the fridge to slow down the over-ripening. If you’re craving Avocado Toast, stash them in a paper bag to speed things up, or just let them ripen naturally in an open container on the counter.

Natalia Olivera

7. Fresh Bread

If you want to get the most flavor (and life) out of your fresh bread, skip the fridge. Refrigeration actually speeds up staling. Instead, store it in a bread box or basket — somewhere that blocks light but still lets it breathe. Planning to eat it the same day? Leaving it uncovered at room temperature works just fine. Otherwise, a paper bag or the freezer are your best options.

Eric Prouzet

8. Potatoes (Sweet or Otherwise)

I like to keep my potatoes and onions tucked away in the pantry where it’s cool and dark. Storing them in a paper bag at room temperature helps preserve their texture and flavor. The fridge might seem like a good idea, but it can actually do more harm than good — the moisture makes potatoes overly sweet and kind of gritty, and the humidity can cause them to mold more quickly.

Kaboompics.com

9. Onions & Garlic

Onions, shallots, and garlic can become moldy when exposed to the high humidity of the refrigerator. Store them in a relatively cool, dry place in your pantry or a cabinet that’s not exposed to light. Your onions will remain fresh and ready to use whenever you need them for recipes like this Spring Veggie Galette that I make every year!

The season 3 finale of The White Lotus dropped on Sunday, and fans around the globe are still grappling with how creator Mike White chose to wrap up the latest iteration of the dark comedy.

Spoiler alert: Timothy Ratliff did not end up murdering his family (although he planned to, chickened out and almost accidentally killed Lochlan, the one child he'd planned to save); Belinda accepted Greg/Gary's bribe after getting it up to $5 million and pulled a total Tanya on Pornchai, who wanted to start a spa with her; and the three girlfriends, Laurie, Kate, and Jaclyn, all worked things out in the end. Oh, and Chelsea dies because of Rick – the one thing everyone didn't want to happen.

Chelsea, played by actress Aimee Lou Wood, quickly became one of this season's most lovable characters. However, due to her tragic death during the finale, it's pretty obvious that she won't be returning to The White Lotus for Season 4. So if you're already missing Aimee's iconic acting, we've got good news for you — there's another show you can binge right now to get your Aimee fix: Sex Education.

Prior to becoming a larger household name on The White Lotus, she actually played the character Aimee Gibbs in Sex Education, a Netflix series that came out in 2019 and ran for four whole seasons!

Aimee's portrayal as a popular high school girl who undergoes a lot of character growth throughout the show's four seasons even earned her a British Academy Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance. So, if you want to see more of Aimee in a completely different role than Chelsea on The White Lotus, buckle up and grab your popcorn. Here's what to know!

Don't worry, if you're still crying over the Severance season 2 ending, I have good news for you. Severance season 3 is coming to Apple TV+! The show was renewed for a junior season after the season 2 finale and the news couldn't come at a better time. I need to see the Severance cast and characters happy!!! Keep reading for everything we know about the upcoming episodes.

Here's the latest news on Severance season 3, coming to Apple TV+ soon.

What are some popular Severance season 3 theories?

Apple TV+

During a panel at Bell Works in New Jersey (where the show is filmed), Britt Lower revealed a theory the whole Severance cast is "getting a kick out of [is] Ricken being a goat," she tells People. "I think that's everyone's collective theory. You never know."

Michael Chernus (who plays Ricken in the show) says that "people have all kinds of theories about Ricken that he's a goat or that he's an Eagan or he's part of the board. I think, you know, we don't see a ton of Ricken in season 2, so I think the fact that he isn't around much makes him seem very suspicious to some people."

Fans love getting caught up in the theories, but for the team behind-the-scenes, it's a little tricky to navigate. "You have to like take all that with a grain of salt and sort of appreciate that everybody has different ideas, but we have to have our own sort of clear idea of what we're doing that is independent of that," executive producer Ben Stiller says.

However, that doesn’t mean he turns a blind eye to online chatter, saying, “I'll read a theory and I'll be like, 'Oh I wish we were making that show because that sounds cool.' But generally, I have to sort of turn the other way," creator Dan Erickson agrees.

Is there a season 3 of Severance coming?

Apple TV+

Yes, Apple TV renewed Severance for a season 3 on March 21, 2025.

“Making Severance has been one of the most creatively exciting experiences I’ve ever been a part of,” executive producer and director Ben Stiller says in a statement. He jokes that, “While I have no memory of this, I’m told making season three will be equally enjoyable, though any recollection of these future events will be forever and irrevocably wiped from my memory as well.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to get back to work with Ben, Dan, the incredible cast and crew, Apple and the whole Severance team,” executive Adam Scott (who also plays Mark) adds. “Oh hey also — not a huge deal — but if you see my innie, please don’t mention any of this to him. Thanks.”

When is Severance season 3 coming out?

Atsushi Nishijima/Apple TV+

We don't have an official Severance season 3 release date yet, but we do know it won't take another three years for new episodes to come out. (We all remember the three-year wait between seasons 1 and 2).

During an appearance on New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Ben Stiller promises that "the plan is not, definitely not" to release Severance season 3 in 2028.

Who's in the Severance season 3 cast?

Apple TV+

Based on the end of season 2, we can include the Severance season 3 cast to include all our favorite stars:

  • Adam Scott as Mark Scout: a Lumon employee leading his team in Macrodata Refinement (MDR). In the real world he's mourning his late wife Gemma.
  • Britt Lower as Helena Eagan/Helly R.: one of Mark's coworkers with a shocking outie identity: she's the daughter of Lumon's CEO.
  • Dichen Laman as Gemma/Ms. Casey: Mark's wife in the real world and the wellness counselor on Lumon's severed floor.
  • Zach Cherry as Dylan George: another of Mark's coworkers who's the first one to be awakened outside the office.
  • John Turturro as Irving Bailiff: a Lumon employee who works with Mark.
  • Christopher Walken as Burt Goodman: a severed Lumon employee who's the head of Optics and Design (O&D).
  • Tramell Tillman as Seth Milchick: Lumon's Manager on the severed floor.
  • Patricia Arquette as Harmony Cobel: Lumon's manager during season 1 who lives as outie Mark's neighbor Mrs. Selvig.
  • Jen Tullock as Devon Scout-Hale: Mark's sister, who's pregnant in season 1.
  • Michael Chernus as Ricken Hale: Devon's husband and a self-help author.
  • Sarah Bock as Eustice Huang: the severed floor's new Deputy Manager in season 2.

What happens at the end of Severance season 2?

Apple TV+

The Severance season 2 ending is truly devastating. In the final moments of the episode, outie Mark and Gemma finally reunite in the moment we've been waiting literal years for. They decide to make their escape, but when they slip back into their innie selves, Mark S. decides he doesn't want to sacrifice himself for his outie. He stays with Helly at Lumon while Gemma (who had managed to escape, reverting to her outie self) looks on, screaming his name and beating on the door.

Where does Severance film?

Apple TV+

Severance has been filmed in locations like New Jersey's Bell Labs, as well as various locations around New York, including York Studios, Kingston, Nyack, Marine Park Golf Course, Ulster County, and Beacon.

As the cast reunites for Severance season 3, get ready for more outie-innie drama and suspense! Follow Brit + Co on TikTok to see the latest news!
