Decorating your home with cute Target fall decor is fun, but so is adding cute, seasonal shoes to your wardrobe. From riding boots to sneakers to Mary Janes, there are so many cute options to pick from this fall! And since no outfit is complete with them, you might as well choose footwear that makes a statement.

Luckily, Target always has our backs when it comes to staying on trend on a budget, so I've rounded up plenty of options for you to shop right now. From cozy slip-on mules to tall cowgirl boots, these Target fall shoes will match your freak — er, vibe.

Trendy Fall Target Shoes

Target

Women's Connor Harness Buckle Ankle Boots

It's no secret: riding boots are the moment this year. These boots are absolutely so trendy, with the chunky heel and exaggerated silver accents. But what I love is that they aren't too much that you can't wear them with a casual look either. All around a 10/10 take on the fall shoe trend.

And if you do want a more exaggerated look? Try the taller version of these riding books!

Target

Women's Claire Knit Washable Ballet Flats

Can someone say Rothy's dupe? Washable shoes are always good, no matter the time of year. I love this woven look paired with the pointed toe — it looks both casual and elevated all at once. These shoes come in four different colors: black, red, cream, and cheetah print.

Target

Women's Sasha Buckle Slingback Kitten Pumps with Memory Foam Insole

Red was in last year, and it's definitely in yet again this year. These slingbacks are the perfect shade of rouge for fall, giving a moodier vibe to your outfit than some of the summer hues we've seen lately. Plus, the double strap and kitten heel duo is extremely in right now. Grab these ASAP!

Target

New York & Company Page 2 Maryjane Flats

Fashion can't stay away from Mary Jane flats and neither can we. They're the epitome of the 'It Girl' fall shoe and come in an array of styles, like New York & Company's mesh style.

They make us want to wear our most stylish fall outfits with them so we can pretend we're extras in Emily In Paris or are attending a NYFW show.

Target

New York & Company Rea Slingback Flats

Give your workwear outfits a boost with these New York & Company Rea Slingback flats! They have a slight block heel that'll give you a little lift and a cute buckle strap that adds the right amount of rebellious flair to whatever you're wearing. Available in black or cognac, you don't have to fret about if they'll match what you have in your closet.

Target

Women's Elsa Mary Jane Ballet Flats with Memory Foam Insole

Seeing red? I know, but I just can't get enough of this stunning color for autumn! Aside from the stylish shade, this square toe Mary Jane is super in at the moment. It's a simple, statement shoe that will make its mark on any outfit you throw together. Tres chic!

Classic Fall Target Shoes

Target

A New Day Ballet Flats

Prefer to keep it simple? Slip your feet into these ballet flats. They have a pointed toe, but your feet won't be cramped in them. They'll be cradled in comfort because the insoles are cushioned, giving you a feeling that you're barely wearing any shoes at all.

Target

Women's Jordan Loafer Flats with Memory Foam Insole

Loafers are ALWAYS in for fall. They're giving that back-to-school, dark academia vibe that just makes you want to grab a cup of espresso and sit in a coffee shop with a good book for hours. Oh? Just me? Well, these are cute regardless of when, where, or how you wear them.

Target

Universal Thread Betsy Clog Mule Flats

Everyone needs at least one pair of comfortable flats in their closet to match those days when you're not in the mood to put effort into your fall outfit. These clog mules are easy to slip on and are neutral enough to go with a t-shirt and jeans look or that new sweatsuit you can't wait to wear. Plus, they're a fantastic Birkenstock dupe!

Target

Wild Fable Kenzi Western Boots

Cowgirl boots still haven't gone out of style, but we wouldn't care if they did. This pair has a nice little side zipper, so you won't have to deal with your feet slipping around. They also have a 2-inch heel and memory foam inside that won't cause you to trip over your own feet.

Target

Women's Janie Ballet Flats with Memory Foam Insole

Can't get the Chanel flats, but want the same sophisticated look? I've got you. These cream and black ballet flats are such a chic look for fall. Pair them with a sweet fall dress, a pair of jeans and a button-down — you name it, and these classic looking shoes will go with it.

Target

Vintage Foundry Co. Penelope Bootie

Want to add a little more height to your boots for date night? Go for these cute boots by Vintage Foundry Co. They're still Chelsea boots, but they're not as casual as the pairs you're used to seeing. You don't have to zip them up either!

Target

A New Day Maddison Sneakers

Want to wear white sneakers that feel like they match fall's vibe? You need to add this pair to your cart. The rounded toe and slight platform shrouds your feet in comfort so you can wear them all day.

Target

Bearpaw Elle Short Wide Boots (Editor's Pick)

This pair of boots helped me survive the last trimester of my pregnancy, so you KNOW they're incredibly comfortable to wear. They're lined with fluffy fabric, so it feels like you're walking on a cloud and they fit over most pairs of leggings and jeans. Honestly, they're the best casual boots you can wear outside of slipping into clog mules! (And yes, they're definitely UGG dupes!)

It Ends With Us is no stranger to controversy. The book, and its movie adaptation, follows the story of Lily Bloom (played by Blake Lively in the film), who finds herself in a domestic violence relationship when she falls in love with Ryle Kincaid (actor & director Justin Baldoni).

Over the last year, the project has created online conversations around everything from Lily's outfits to Brandon Sklenar's (who plays Atlas Corrigan) red carpet anxiety. And the latest chapter in the drama appears to be between Baldoni and Lively.

Internet users are speculating that there's been a creative control struggle between Baldoni and Lively throughout the process, especially now that rumors are swirling Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds hope It Ends With Us scores Lively an Oscar nomination. The actress also served as producer and was involved in everything from the script to the inclusion of Taylor Swift's "My Tears Ricochet."

What happened between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively?

@deadline#JennySlate on working with #JustinBaldoni, who served as both scene partner and director to the actress in #ItEndsWithUsMovie♬ original sound - Deadline

Fans first noticed something seemed off when it was revealed Blake Lively, Brandon Skelnar, Jenny Slate, and Colleen Hoover don't follow Justin Baldoni on Instagram (even though he follows them). Baldoni didn't take photos with the cast at the New York City premiere, and he also hasn't done any of the viral press with his costars. Plus, the fact that Baldoni's onscreen sister Jenny Slate dodged a question about him only makes this whole situation more odd.

When an Instagram user called Lively's behavior "disappointing," her brother-in-law Bart Johnson replied (via People), "I’m really sorry you feel that way. I’m sure you have a huge heart and want the best. I can promise you the truth has not come out yet. Blake worked harder on this film than anything I’ve seen her do my entire life. Because it meant so much to her."

"The message is in the book. And in the movie. Not in short clips / interviews," he continues. "She is the reason the message / this movie/ is getting out. Were mistakes made? Yes. I make mistakes in life. But they aren’t under a microscope. Anyway, I respect your views. I got nothing but love for you."

The Hollywood Reporter reveals the cast and crew might have wrapped with two different cuts of the movie, citing creative differences between Baldoni and Lively, and sources told Page Six the studio went with Lively's "more feminine cut." (THR reports Lively commissioned Shane Reid, a Deadpool & Wolverine editor, for It Ends With Us, although the final project is credited to editors Oona Flaherty and Robb Sullivan.)

But the supposed feud might go deeper. A set source just revealed to People that not only have Blake and Justin been at odds, but apparently "the principal cast and [author] Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him."

"All is not what it seems," the source continues. "There is much more to this story."

Sources told The Daily Mail Baldoni was "chauvinistic" and "borderline abusive" during the filming process.

“The tension was so obvious,” an It Ends With Us on-set source told Page Six. “Once she was done with the scene she was really impatient, said, ‘Am I done? Can I go?,’ and as soon as they said ‘yes,’ there was like a Blake-size hole in the wall...She was so outta there.”

There are rumors Justin Baldoni made Blake Lively feel uncomfortable in her postpartum body (she gave birth to fourth child Olin in February of 2023; the movie began filming in May of 2023), and that he asked an on-set trainer how much she weighed before filming a scene where he has to pick her up. Baldoni reportedly has back problems and wanted to make sure he didn't injure himself. Lively also reportedly felt like the actor & director lingered too long during a kissing scene.

But throughout the whole press cycle, Justin Baldoni has been the only member of the cast raising awareness for domestic violence, and praising the strength of DV survivors.

During the premiere for the film, Baldoni told ET, "This is a night for all the women who we made this movie for...If a Lily Bloom in real life can sit in this theater and maybe make a different choice for herself than was made for her, maybe she sees herself on that screen and chooses something different for herself, that's why I made the movie."

Will Justin Baldoni direct It Starts With Us?

In addition to this video from set, where Lively and Baldoni look like they're in a visionary standoff, Baldoni just revealed he probably won't step back into the role of director if 2022's It Starts With Us is also adapted.

"I think that there are better people for that one," he tells Entertainment Tonight at the August 6 NYC premiere. "I think Blake Lively's ready to direct, that's what I think."

Blake Lively/Instagram

Amid the internet frenzy, people are coming to Baldoni's defense, praising his vulnerable Man Enough podcast. AnIt Ends With Us extra even recounted how kind and attentive he was on set.

And while Lively has always been praised as an "unproblematic queen," fans of the book wish official press for the movie centered on domestic violence awareness as much as Baldoni's one-on-one interviews do. Instead, she's filmed funny baking videos, promoted her Betty Buzz and Blake Brown brands, and encouraged viewers to "wear your florals" to see the movie.

She finally touched on the themes of the movie in an August 13 Instagram story, providing a link to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, while The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Justin Baldoni has hired PR crisis manager Melissa Nathan amid the It Ends With Us drama. Nathan represented Johnny Depp during the 2022 Amber Heard trial.

On September 10, a source told People that Blake Lively felt "surprised," "vulnerable and upset" about all the It Ends With Us drama. "During the promotion of the movie, not one day went by when she was not in the news in an unfavorable light. She's just not used to this kind of drama."

This post has been updated.

My French manicure has overstayed it's welcome, but it's only because I've been so busy saving fall nail ideas to my Pinterest board for next season. I've officially checked out of summer because there's almost always a daily heat wave or run-in with a pesky mosquito that thinks it's discovered liquid courage within my legs' veins. I'm over it, and more than ready for fall!

Do you need some new autumnal options too? Good, then get in because we're going shopping! Get ready to take as many screenshots as your phone can handle because the fall nail ideas are going to make sure you're ready for cozy weather and spooky season.

Stylish Fall Nail Ideas

KISS

Kiss Voguish Fantasy Press-On Nails (Unbroken Love)

Whether you've got fashion week or pumpkin spice season on your mind, these nails have fall written all over them. Okay, they technically have 'love' and cute French chrome accents on them, but you get what I mean.

They're subtle enough to match fall's cozy vibes without fading into obscurity and it's the type of thing I love. I'd personally wear this nail idea as soon as fall starts to show my gratitude for my favorite season.

They serve as the perfect transition between two seasons so you could actually get them a few days before summer ends!

Jasmine Williams

Black And White Abstract Nails

Don't count abstract nails out because there's still a way to make them work for fall. Opt for a black and white color palette to serve as your base while letting the hand drawn designs do most of the talking.

This is still one of my favorite sets to date because it went with everything outfit I chose to wear. Athleisure? No problem. Cowgirl status? You bet!

Bellacures

French Metallic Nails

Love the first couple of fall nail ideas, but want to focus on a chrome French manicure? You've come to the right place!

Similar to the first idea, these nails can be transitional because they're ambiguous and aren't beholden to any rules. You can request these at your nail next appointment or you can wait to debut them after fall's been around for a month.

They'll go with plenty of the fall fashion ideas you're saving to your Pinterest board.

Target

Chillhouse Chill Tips Nail Art Press On Fake Nails (Gone Glamping)

I know you plan to go glamping this fall, so let your nails match nature with a pop of forest green! It's arguable whether you should wear press-on nails in the great outdoors, but no one said you had to do any of the heavy lifting.

If you plan to keep existing in your soft girl era, these press-on nails from Chillhouse are a cute fall nail idea to take on your overnight trip in the forest.

Paintlab

PAINTLAB Tortie Press-on Nails

If you don't buy these press-on nails, I surely will! I love anything tortoise shell — I'll run up the hill towards it every time. It's this close to replacing my love for leopard print, but that's TBD. The point is, these nails are another great fall staple to have.

The only fall rule I have is that varying shades of brown and black together create the best fall neutral. Once you pair it with a rounded almond nail shape, you have one of the best fall nail ideas out there.

I could tell you to stop scrolling because you don't need anymore options, but there's still so much more to explore!

Cozy Fall Nail Ideas

Target

Olive & June Press-on Oval Medium Fake Nails

If you're taking a break from nail art, focus on getting basic nail colors! You can still wear press-on nails this fall, but you'll look like a chic Editor from Runway magazine with these oxblood nails.

You'll be able to secure them with non-toxic and on-damaging glue which is a relief. No one said anything about cute fall styles and damaged nails!

Londontown

Londontown Posh Forever Metallic Nail Polish

Give yourself a gorgeous gel manicure at home with Londontown's metallic nail polish! Thanks to the amazing formula of proprietary kur care, you'll receive a nice dose of strength, moisture, and cute fall nails with each brush stroke.

Also, it's obvious that this nail polish is a must-have for anyone who's been counting waiting to order their drink from the Starbucks fall menu. As you can see, it looks gorgeous against a cream rib knit sweater! You can also pair it with neutral matching sets while you're at it.

Ella + Mila

Ella + Mila Bags Are Packed Blue Nail Polish

Jewel tones are so fall, so go for a true blue nail polish like this one by Ella + Mila. It doesn't contain any animal-derived ingredients which is great for anyone who prefers vegan beauty products. It also dries really quick and claims to be chip-resistant. That's a great feature if you use your hands a lot!

Bellacures

Peek-a-boo Black Nail Polish

Classic black nails will always be in. You can call these nails moody, but it doesn't change the fact they're going to be the most versatile idea you wear this fall.

Since there's no additional rhinestones or nail designs associated with this idea, you can actually recreate this at home. It can be your way of saving money so you don't have to choose between toilet paper and wine à la Shonda Rhimes.

Spooky Fall Nail Ideas

Glamnetic

Glamnetic Sandworm Press-On Nails

"Look! You've been to Saturn! I've been to Saturn! Whoa, sandworms, you hate ’em, right" is one of my favorite unhinged quotes from Beetlejuice that match these press-on nails perfectly.

Since we're finally getting a long-awaited sequel to the cult classic, it feels fitting that I include these beauties in the fall nail ideas roundup. They mix a bit of the sandworms' design with the classic Beetlejuice suit I love to see Michael Keaton wear so I think this means you just discovered your Halloween costume. 👀

Walmart

Salon Perfect Halloween Press-on Nails (Orange Pumpkin)

The first movie I think about when I see these nails is Scream. That's one of my favorite teen slasher films that I still watch to this day so I love how these designs seem to pay homage to Ghostface.

The pumpkins and orange crochet lines are an added touch that takes the edge off the 'killer' aspect which may make some people feel more comfortable looking at your nails. Then again, it doesn't really matter if other people don't get them.

Bellacures

Spooky Spider Nails

Undoubtedly someone doesn't have a fear of spiders and I applaud you for having the courage I don't. So, if you're trying to think of your next spooky Halloween costume, let these nails be your guiding light.

They're deliciously witchy and seem like you can conjure pumpkins to break out in a jubilated song.

The current season isn't over yet so check out 33 summer nails we love!

Blake Lively's It Ends With Us was one of our most-anticipated movies of 2024. The film, based on the Colleen Hoover bookof the same name, follows Lily Bloom (played by Lively), a flower shop owner who finds herself in an abusive relationship after she falls in love with Ryle, played by Justin Baldoni. Throughout the movie's press run, Baldoni spoke extensively on domestic violence awareness.

"If a Lily Bloom in real life can sit in this theater and maybe make a different choice for herself than was made for her, maybe she sees herself on that screen and chooses something different for herself, that's why I made the movie," the actor and director told ET at the film's New York premiere. Fans were less thrilled with Lively's choice to almost exclusively promote the film as a romance movie (that is, until she finally shared domestic violence resources in an August 13 Instagram story). Here's what Blake Lively has said about the It Ends With Us movie so far.

September 10, 2024 — Blake Lively Was "Surprised" At The 'It Ends With Us' Drama

Sony Pictures Releasing

According to a People source, Blake Lively was "pretty surprised at the backlash and drama," which "felt out of control to her."

"She initially felt very vulnerable and upset," the source continues. "During the promotion of the movie, not one day went by when she was not in the news in an unfavorable light. She's just not used to this kind of drama."

Despite the response to her It Ends With Us press, Lively "enjoys working and will continue to push forward projects that she's excited about," which includes A Simple Favor 2 with Anna Kendrick.

August 13, 2024 — Blake Lively Shares Resources To Instagram

Blake Lively/Instagram

After telling fans to "grab your friends and wear your florals," Blake Lively shared an Instagram story on August 13 detailing domestic violence awareness and resources.

"1 in 4 women aged 18 and older in the US alone have been the victim of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime," she says in the Instagram story. "Intimate partner violence affects all genders, including more than 12 million people every year in the United States. Everyone deserves relationships free from domestic violence.

August 8, 2024 — Blake Lively Details Her Process Of Making 'It Ends With Us'

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images

During an interview with Brit + Co's Chloe Williams, Blake Lively revealed how much of her personal life made it into It Ends With Us (and not just because her sister Robyn Lively makes a cameo).

"I took the relationships with my mother and my sisters or my children and my feelings, and I mean it's all over this film," she says. "I'll never tell anybody but when I sit in that theater with my loved ones, they see themselves all over this film, moments we've had together, things we've said to each other...I feel so proud and it's so personal to me."

"This story is told with empathy," she continues. "She leads with empathy but also the storytelling leads with empathy."

August 7, 2024 — Blake Lively Talks That Taylor Swift 'Folklore' Needle Drop

Sony Pictures Releasing

After the It Ends With Us trailer (and later the movie) nearly broke the internet thanks to its inclusion of Taylor Swift's heartbreaking "My Tears Ricochet," Blake Lively told The Hollywood Reporterthat any Taylor Swift song would have been an incredible addition to the movie.

“All of her songs are great, we could have put any song up there. We could have done like a voice memo song, it would have been the best song to have ever been in a movie.”

August 6, 2024 — Blake Lively Reveals Ryan Reynolds Wrote An 'It Ends With Us' Scene

Sony Pictures Releasing

During an interview for the movie, Blake Lively revealed that husband Ryan Reynolds actually had pretty specific involvement in the process. (Although this created another level of drama because the movie's timeline suggested they could have worked on It Ends With Us during the Hollywood strikes. A Variety source claims he wrote it in April 2023 before the strikes were called).

"The iconic rooftop scene, my husband actually wrote it," Blake Lively tells E! News."He works on everything I do, I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his."

She also points out that some of his clothing made it into Lily Bloom's wardrobe. "I have a few of my husband's shirts and socks randomly in the movie," she tells People, as well as "some of Gigi Hadid's sweaters in the movie."
