Just because summer’s almost over doesn’t mean we’re letting midday cocktail hours slip by the wayside ;) For this fizzy concoction, we’ve teamed up with IZZE® to create three conversation-worthy cocktails. The best part? Each one takes four ingredients or less. Simplicity for the win!
And if you happen to be in the Bay Area on September 12th and 13th for Re:Make, you’ve got two opportunities to get your IZZE® on! For the conference part of the event (on the 12th), IZZE® is sponsoring the cocktail hour where you can sample these very cocktails! You can request a conference invite right here. On festival day (the 13th), head over to the IZZE® Make Station to make your own stamped tote bag. And festival day is FREE so you should probably register ASAP :)
Saintly Greyhound
Ingredients (makes 1):
– 1 ounce gin
– ½ ounce elderflower liqueur (we used St. Germaine)
– 3 ½ ounces IZZE® Sparkling Grapefruit
– rosemary sprig, optional
Fill a glass with ice and add all ingredients. Stir well and garnish with a rosemary sprig, if desired.
We love this herbal take on the classic greyhound. Make a fall version using a sprig of thyme and a sprinkle of cinnamon if you’re feeling festive.
Ingredients (makes 1):
– 5-6 blackberries
– 1 ounce bourbon (we used Bullitt)
– 3 ½ ounces IZZE® Sparkling Blackberry
Smash blackberries in the bottom of a glass. Top with ice, bourbon, and soda. Stir well and enjoy!
Blackberry Smash
Serve up a whole tray of these and you’re sure to have a SMASHING good time! Sorry, we couldn’t resist ;)
Ingredients (makes 1):
– 1 ½ ounces vodka
– 3 ½ ounces IZZE® Sparkling Pomegranate
– dash rose water
– pomegranate seeds (optional)
Pour all ingredients into a glass or champagne flute. Stir well, garnish with pomegranate seeds, and enjoy!
Pomegranate Rose Fizz
If you’re making a whole pitcher of bubbly cocktails, this pomegranate seeds will make sure the flavor stays robust without getting too diluted or flat.
We think they make a pretty fetching trio.
Which flavor combo will you try making at home? Snap a photo of it and share with us on the Brit + Co Facebook Page!
