Happy Pumpkin Spice Day! The Starbucks Fall Menu Is Here For 2024

official Starbucks Fall Menu 2024

Wondering when pumpkin spice is coming back to Starbucks? Wonder no more – the official Starbucks fall menu has been released! After online rumors about the fall menu started circulating last month, my cravings for a PSL have been through the roof. This year's lineup includes obvious favorites like the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, but also introduces a brand-new drink! Pumpkin spice season is arguably the best seasons at Starbucks since it ushers in all things cozy (and tasty). Scroll on to see everything on the 2024 Starbucks fall menu – available to order starting TODAY – plus the top 3 items I'm extremely excited to indulge in.

Starbucks Fall Menu Drinks

Starbucks

Pumpkin Spice Latte

She's an icon. She's a legend. She is the moment. The classic PSL combines espresso with pumpkin syrup and milk for a delicious fall treat. You can order it hot, iced, or in Frappuccino form.

Starbucks

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

PSL season also means that pumpkin cold foam comes back! The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is one of my favorite fall drinks from Starbucks since it's not overly sweet, nor too bitter. It features a strong pour of cold brew with a foamy layer of pumpkin-flavored cream, and when the two mix, it's heavenly.

Starbucks

Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai

I truly cannot wait to get this drink in my hands. Every time I order it, it's gone before I know it. It's that yummy. The Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai features Starbucks' chai latte blend topped with a generous amount of pumpkin cold foam. The spice of the chai blends perfectly with the pumpkin spice of it all.

Starbucks

NEW! Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai

Starbucks debuted their non-dairy cold foam this past summer, and it's been hitting the spot every time I order it. This new fall drink features flavors of apple alongside some spicy-sweet chai and a layer of Apple Crisp-flavored non-dairy cold foam. I fully expect this to taste like apple pie in liquid form, and I can't wait to give it a sip.

Starbucks

Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Next up, this shaken espresso drink assumes the bright notes of Apple Crisp. It's finished off with a splash of oat milk to balance out the strong coffee and sweet syrup.

Starbucks

Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato

This returning drink is ahh-mazing. You can order it hot or iced this season, though I think it tastes way better hot. It features your choice of milk, Apple Crisp syrup, espresso, and a very aesthetically-pleasing Apple Crisp syrup topping.

Starbucks Fall Menu Snacks

Starbucks

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin

Hot tip: always order this muffin warmed. That way, the cream cheese filling gets super gooey and soft, complementing the pumpkin muffin layer extremely well. This pick tastes insanely good when eaten alongside a PSL.

Starbucks

Raccoon Cake Pop

This cute lil' cake pop is such a wholesome (and sweet) way to ring in the fall season.

Starbucks

Baked Apple Croissant

This flaky pastry is the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai's BFF, I just know it. Layers of pastry dough surround a succulent apple middle for a wonderful mid-day treat.

New Fall Cups

Starbucks

New menu = new cups, and I am in love with the Stanley tumbler and the ombré cold cup! Starting August 22 (when the Starbucks fall menu drops), you can purchase one (or a few!) of these sleek and colorful reusable cups. Starbucks customers can bring any reusable cup into Starbucks and receive a $0.10 discount on their order. Plus, Starbucks Rewards members can also earn 25 bonus stars when they bring in a reusable cup!

Bring Pumpkin Spice Home

Starbucks

Can't make it to the cafe? Luckily, Starbucks' fall-flavored coffees and creamers are on grocery store shelves right now. Here's everything you can catch between the aisles to make a perfect PSL at home:

  • Starbucks Iced Espresso Pumpkin Spice Latte
  • Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drink
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Coffee (Nespresso for Vertuo, Roast & Ground and K-Cup pods)
  • Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate
  • Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Creamer
  • Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Non-Dairy Creamer
  • Starbucks Fall Blend Coffee (Roast & Ground and K-Cup pods)
  • New Starbucks Smoked Butterscotch Flavored Coffee (Roast & Ground and K-Cup pods)

There’s one thing you should know about me: I love a good cooking class. So when I was invited to Nassau, Bahamas with Gwenyth Paltrow’s wellness brand, Goop, and the itinerary included a cooking class — I knew I had to participate. I immediately researched the food native to the Bahamas — learning that meals are usually made up of meat, starch, or rice — and got to packing for a much-needed wellness weekend.

Olivia Bria

Despite being a food and travel journalist, I’ve always struggled with my eating habits. I go to new restaurants to try out dishes, head to culinary festivals with some of the best chefs in the business, and travel to new countries where food is a significant part of the culture — like the Bahamas. I’ve practiced diets that never truly worked, resulting in a mindless cycle that I can only describe as mild binge-eating, restricting, and binge-eating again — left feeling ashamed of this habit I couldn’t seem to break.

While I've never been diagnosed with an eating disorder definitively, my relationship with food has struggled throughout the years, usually related to the high-stress emotions that I’m feeling at the time and, unfortunately, certain health problems in regards to my digestion system — but, as they say, ‘hot girls have stomach issues’.

Yet, these exciting trips with cuisines unknown to my own culture have allowed me to learn balance, and in this case, the mindset of intuitive eating.

Olivia Bria

“Intuitive eating is a practice to honor both mental and physical health,” says intuitive eating expert and registered dietitian, Sammi Haber Brondo. “It removes barriers from eating that stop you from enjoying, while also allowing you to prioritize your health. In a nutshell, intuitive eating is about getting rid of rules and rigid mindsets that make eating an obstacle and instead, make it easy and enjoyable.”

Thanks to Chef Tevin Kemp, I walked into the Baha Mar’s The Kitchen cooking class excited, and walked out more confident that I could be successful in eating mindfully.

Baha Mar

The class started off with a pre-made coconut ceviche and spicy lemonade. I then began mixing the ingredients for our Johnny Cake, a popular Bahamian bread which resembles a pound cake, often enjoyed as a side dish. After I (kind of) perfected the dough’s consistency, the class popped them in the oven. In the United States — or at least, to me — a cake like this is associated with dessert and extra carbs, rather than a flavor addition to a solid meal. That’s when I first realized the problem with my mindset.

The main course was a seasoned, island grilled lionfish on top of vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, onions and cassava) coated in a liquid lemongrass mixture. I quickly learned that coconut cream and ghost pepper are beloved in the Bahamas (which is both good and bad for a girl who is ultra-sensitive to spice). There was such an emphasis on the simplicity of earthly flavors and utilizing the entirety of ingredients. Chef Kemp explained that he uses every piece of the lionfish he can — from creating mouth-watering fish stews to ceviches. Fun fact: lionfish is actually an abundant food source in the Bahamas, but I had never tried it before this cooking class.

As we fell deeper into the class I was taught to score fish and season thoughtfully, while not underestimating the flavor of natural ingredients or creativity that they lend you. Chef Kemp explained that he grew up not necessarily focusing on a balanced plate, but rather understanding the notion that, “If it makes sense and it tastes good, put it there.” As a person thrust into a society where counting calories is the norm, I was floored by this simple opinion.

Baha Mar

To truly practice intuitive eating, Brondo says you have to “let go of food rules and really understand how dieting and restriction is holding you back.” It’s all about finding the flexibility in those gray areas, such as eating when you aren’t super hungry, or tasting something to see if it’s delicious, despite not carrying a physical hunger. This is the part where I’d usually become frustrated with myself for snacking mindlessly, even when the snack is objectively healthy, refusing to give myself grace for just enjoying good food.

When you do actually implement intuitive eating though, you may experience health benefits. According to Brondo, also a recent partner of Carnation Breakfast Essentials, this may include a “higher satisfaction” with your body and a “higher motivation to exercise, because exercise is focused on enjoyment.” Intuitive eaters also tend to opt for more fruits and veggies, leading to “lower total cholesterol, higher HDL (good) cholesterol, and lower triglycerides.” I envied Kemp's mindset, because I’ve always viewed breaking my personal diet rules as a significant, rigid obstacle.

Olivia Bria

As I consumed the delicious meal, Johnny Cake and all, I headed back to my hotel room. I was left thinking a lot about my choices — cue the tiny violin. About why in the past I’ve allowed the decisions I make in the kitchen to define me so deeply, to control my life to the point where meals are not as pleasurable as they once were. And while the answer may be layered and nuanced, food doesn’t necessarily have to be. Maybe it is okay to follow your cravings while still maintaining your healthy quota of veggies and fruits.

Baha Mar

Just like the stunning blue waters and soft sandy beaches in the Bahamas, there are things in life that are just meant to be enjoyed. Now, when I catch myself becoming upset about consuming that extra cookie or enjoying a weekday margarita, I tell myself to let food be one of them.

Think of the most quotable movies you know, and there's a good chance The Devil Wears Prada makes the list. Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly is just that iconic. The Academy Award-winning actress perfected the movie's balance of biting edge, style, and hidden vulnerability to create a character that is one in a million — and it looks like we could see even more of her thanks to a new The Devil Wears Prada sequel in the works!

News of the sequel first broke in July 2024, right after Emily Blunt actually said the cast would be "good" without a sequel and simply cherishing the first movie. Well it looks like we need to head back into our closets for all the cerulean belts and Chanel boots we can find. Here's everything you need to know about The Devil Wears Prada 2!

Is the original cast returning for The Devil Wears Prada sequel?

MJ Kim/Getty Images

While both Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway have agreed in the past that it makes sense for Andy's story to end with the first movie, Emily recently teased her return during the American Institute for Stuttering Gala on September 16. “It’s cool,” she tells People.

“I just wanna get some good eye makeup going again,” she continues, before joking that maybe her character Emily will come down with another stomach flu. “I’m hoping for that.”

Anne, however, isn't sure what the story would look like in the modern digital age. “I don’t know if there can be [a sequel],” she said on a 2022 episode of The View (via Deadline). “I just think that movie was in a different era. Now everything’s gone so digital and that movie is centered around the concept of producing a physical thing and it’s just, it’s just very different.”

“Sometimes things should be cherished and preserved in this bubble and it’s okay,” Emily Blunt told Josh Horowitz in February 2024 (via People).

Is there The Devil Wears Prada 2?

20th Century Fox/Disney

Yes, it looks like we're finally getting a The Devil Wears Prada sequel! The original movie came out in 2006, and fans have hoped for another installment ever since Andy ditched Miranda in Paris.

The OG movie's screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna is reportedly back for round 2, as is director David Frankel and producer Wendy Finerman, according to Deadline.

What book is the sequel to Devil Wears Prada?

Amazon

The second The Devil Wears Prada book is called Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns — and there's a good chance this will become the second The Devil Wears Prada movie! The book follows Andy, who's finally at the top of her game. She's a successful magazine editor, she's engaged, and her relationship with Emily is better than ever. But when Miranda Priestly makes a grand return, she flips Andy's life upside down...again.

Stay tuned for more news on The Devil Wears Prada sequel and read up on This Deleted Scene from The Devil Wears Prada Will Completely Change the Way You See Miranda Priestly for more.

There's no doubt that out of all the TV moms I've seen over the years, Lorelai Gilmore is one of the absolute best. At first glance, the Gilmore Girls leading lady might seem like the best mom ever just because she's fun, but it's way more than that. Lorelai totally understands and cares about Rory, and takes an interest in things she's interested in. She works hard to provide for their life in Stars Hollow, and can turn any horrible situation into something that feels more like an adventure (like getting the worst seats at a concert or staying up all night to study). But she's also not afraid to stand up for the people she cares about, even if it means making a scene. TLDR; I love Lorelai with my whole heart. Here are 6 moments that prove just how incredible Lorelai is.

She Believes In Second Chances

Warner Bros. Television

Lorelai is pretty vocal about how she thinks growing up with Richard and Emily Gilmore left her feeling stifled. So it's no surprise she encourages Rory to make her own decisions based on her own opinions. Does Rory end up making some pretty wild mistakes? Yes. But is Lorelai always there to help Rory figure out what happens next? Also yes.

One of my favorite moments comes from season 6, when Lorelai writes a letter encouraging Rory to give Logan another chance. Even though Lor and Logan don't necessarily get along, Lorelai understands that falling in love is "elusive and all-encompassing," and is a firm believer in second chances.

That's why when Lorelai tells Rory "when you fall under [love's] intoxicating spell, you have little recourse but to live out its devices. If you love this boy, maybe you want to give it another chance?" it's even more impactful.

Lorelai Always Comforts Rory, Even When She Messes Up

Warner Bros. Television

Both Gilmore girls are far from perfect, but one of their shining attributes is that, except for The Fight in season 5, they're always there for each other. And that includes when Rory messes up. At the end of season 4, Rory loses her virginity to Dean, who's still married to Lindsay. After a brief fight, Rory runs outside to call Dean, but breaks down in tears when Lindsay answers the phone. Lorelai tries to comfort her and get Rory to come back inside to talk, but Rory's the one who runs away.

Lorelai in no way excuses Rory's behavior, but the fact that she's willing to sideline the disagreement for a moment to make sure Rory's okay shows that her top priority is, and always will be, taking care of her daughter.

She's Confident & Unashamed

Warner Bros. Television

We recently broke down all the reasons Lorelai is Brat Summer personified, and her attitude is just another reason to love her. Not only does her perseverance, optimistic hope, and dedication pave the way for professional achievements like The Dragonfly Inn, but it's also a shining light for the whole series.

As someone whose personality is more similar to Rory's, every time I rewatch Gilmore Girls, Lorelai teaches me something new about what it means to be unashamedly myself. She reminds me just how fun it is to celebrate the quirkiest parts of myself, and her confidence makes me feel like I can be more confident.

Lorelai Takes Lane Under Her Wing

Warner Bros. Television

We've talked at length about how the Gilmore Girls writers could have done so much better with Lane Kim's storyline. Even creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, who wasn't involved with GG season 7, revealed she would have preferred Lane's story turn out different. But one thing I do love about Lane's story is how much she clicks with Lorelai.

Lorelai loves talking with Lane, and giving her guidance when she asks for it. She's more than happy to spend time together, which I think is all Lane really wants from Mrs. Kim. And just like she talks with Rory about books and schools, Lorelai bonds with Lane over music, giving Lane a space to feel creative and inspired. Plus, she even plans Lane's bachelorette party! (Which also goes to show Rory takes Lane for granted too...)

Rory and Lane are both incredibly independent women, but it never hurts to know someone has your back.

She Knows When To Wallow

Warner Bros. Television

Whether you're getting over a breakup or you're just having a bad day, I think it's important to know when to wallow (AKA, when to indulge in your comfort foods & comfort TV shows, and let yourself rest). And Lorelai agrees. Knowing how painful heartbreak can be, Lorelai encourages Rory to take it easy after Dean breaks up with her for the first time...but goes along with Rory's productive Saturday list anyway.

And when Rory's finally ready to wallow with a bucket of ice cream? Lorelai kisses her on the forehead and wraps her arms around her (after ordering a pizza, of course).

She Celebrates Simple Moments

Warner Bros. Television

And finally, Loreali's ability to turn ordinary life moments into extraordinary memories might just be the best thing about her. This is something my own mom did a phenomenal job of, whether we were having a grand Thanksgiving sleepover on the living room floor or turning a family night into a sushi extravaganza. Lorelai's version of those moments? Turning the first snowfall of the year into a beautiful celebration, embarking on a grand Harvard road trip, and throwing the most epic Sweet Sixteen. And those moments are just as special for us as they are for Rory.
