I'm a big fan of book-to-screen adaptationsfan, huge, which means I literally can't get enough of all the Emily Henry movie news, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 updates, and literally any and every set photo I might come across on the internet. And author Carley Fortune gave us QUITE the update when she posted the first photo from the set of her new show, Every Year After (inspired by her hit debut novel Every Summer After). I'm not crying, you are.

Here's everything we know about the Every Year After TV show, based on Carley Fortune's Every Summer After.

Carley Fortune's 'Every Year After' is now filming!

Every Summer After is getting The Summer I Turned Pretty treatment thanks to a series order from Prime Video! The series will be written by showrunner Leila Gerstein (who created Hart of Dixie) and author Carley Fortune will serve as executive producer.

“We are thrilled to bring the beautifully crafted story, Every Summer After, to our global Prime Video customers as Every Year After,” Amazon MGM Studios' head of TV, Vernon Sanders, told Deadline. “Carley Fortune’s wildly successful book is the perfect blend of heartfelt nostalgia and poignant romance. With Leila Gerstein’s vision the audience will go through an exploration of this remarkable narrative in a way that captures its essence and emotional depth.”

Every Summer After holds a very special place in my heart and in the hearts of readers all over the world who deeply connect with Sam and Percy’s love story,” Carley added. “I’m excited to partner with Amazon to take their journey even further—beyond the pages of the book, onto the screen, and into the hearts of audiences across the globe.”

We haven't gotten an official cast list yet but considering the fact Prime Video never fails to give us incredible actors, I'm not worried in the slightest. Popular fan casts include Phoebe Tonkin or Olivia Cooke as Percy, Liam Hemsworth or Alex Pettyfer as Sam, Madelaine Petsch as Delilah, and Scott Eastwood or Lucas Till as Charlie.

Amazon

Every Summer Afterwas published in 2022, and if you can't tell from the cover, it has the ultimate beach read vibe (even it takes place on a lake). The book takes place over six summers of the past and one weekend in the present, and follows Percy, who hasn't been home since a single decision left her life in shambles. But when she has to return to Barry's Bay, and to Sam, she can't deny their connection — or that her mistakes are her responsibility.

Are you excited to see the Every Year After TV show? Which stars do you want to see join the cast? Stay tuned for the latest updates on the show, and check out This New England Road Trip Is For Gilmore Girls And The Summer I Turned Pretty Fans if you're already daydreaming about summer.

Jac's on Bond

Oh, honey! This luscious Christmas cocktail emulates the sticky sweetness of Honey Buns mixed with notes of gin, pineapple, and lemon. You'll infuse a small batch of Ford's gin with Honey Buns first before shaking 2 oz of it with .5 oz pineapple juice, .5 oz lemon juice, .5 oz simply syrup, and a pinch of Maldon salt, and straining into a coupe glass.

“The Bodega Buns is the unexpectedly harmonious marriage of a “tropical” gimlet and the bodega classic Honey Bun," says Trevor Langer, Head Bartender at NYC's Jac’s on Bond. "The odd couple pairing brings out the best tasting quality in one another and subdue what some can consider less desirable. I.e. the sharpness of the gin and brightness from the citrus cut the cloying sweetness one may experience when eating a packaged cake, whilst still allowing that delectable bready note to still be present. My favorite thing to hear, which happens most times people try this drink for the first time is: ‘That literally tastes like a Honeybun!’”

Buddy the Elf Cocktail

Candy Cane Martini

Mixop

Mix some vanilla vodka, crème de menthe, half & half, and crushed candy canes to craft this Christmas cocktail. It's *so* creamy and perfectly balanced for the festivities!

Old Saint Nick’s Chocolate Espresso Martini

Half Baked Harvest

This Christmas cocktail doubles as a chocolatey holiday treat, adorned with chocolate fudge sauce and candy garnishes. Think of this recipe as the perfect nightcap that captures the essence of Christmas and adds a touch of elegance to your celebrations.

Pink Holiday Cocktail

Mixop

This festive drink blends vodka, raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to bring color and joy into your Christmas gatherings.

Even though some foodie fans may argue that the viral Dubai chocolate bars are quite overdone by now, I’m far from growing tired of them.

The sweet treat involves a luxurious mix of pistachio and knafeh (AKA finely-shredded pieces of crispy phyllo pastry), all gloriously encased in a tempered chocolate shell. The cross-section of the bar alone is enough to get my chocolate cravings going. Plus, when you pair it with pistachio, you truly can’t lose.

Starbucks fans have developed a new menu hack that tastes just like the viral Dubai chocolate bars. Keep reading for how to order it!

Starbucks

Pistachio is also insanely good with coffee – I’m a frequent pistachio latte order-er at my closest coffee shop. The nuttiness compliments the bitterness of the espresso, but pistachio never fails to bring just the right amount of sweetness to every sip.

Starbucks

Starbucks fans are undoubtedly privy to this exact flavor combo. The chain’s been slinging pistachio lattes and cold brews since they launched their winter lineup in January (they've also already got something exciting on the way for spring).

The drink is said to bring “cozy flavors” with notes of sweet pistachio and brown butter.

But the latest pistachio drink on Starbucks’ menu isn’t necessarily on the menu – it’s a secret menu hack that Dubai chocolate devotees developed!

@sdegnon

Meet the Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte: it’s essentially an Iced Matcha Latte with pistachio sauce topped with chocolate cold foam.

Food writer with Delish, Megan, noted that it’s “sweet and smooth” with a “creamy finish” that’s only enhanced by the chocolate cold foam. I can only imagine that the earthiness of the matcha powder helps level up the drink, too!

Starbucks

Here’s how to order the Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte!

First, start by ordering an Iced Matcha Latte. Based on the size of the drink you order, ask for pumps of pistachio sauce:

  • Tall: 1 pump of pistachio sauce
  • Grande: 2 pumps of pistachio sauce
  • Venti: 3 pumps of pistachio sauce

From there, ask for the drink with chocolate cold foam. You can also customize your sip with your preferred milk or alternative milk.

Finally, you’ve got your Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte to enjoy. I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
