Toting your necessities to work frequently requires more than one bag. And if you’re one of the many people who bring lunch from home every day, that often means a plastic supermarket bag or some other unappealing adult lunch box option. Taking your midday meal to the office saves money, time, and helps you eat healthier, but we would never have described it as being cute. Well, until now, that is. Enter: Modern Picnic’s Luncher bag.

Launched this past spring, The Luncher is Modern Picnic’s first product and is as stylish and practical as they come. The vegan leather exterior is offered in six sophisticated color ways with an insulated interior. That means it can safely store everything from lunch to snacks to breast milk while you commute to and from the office. At $149, it’s a little more expensive than the Power Rangers plastic box you used a kid, but it also doubles as a “real” handbag and even includes an outer pocket where you can stow your phone. Oh, how times have changed!

Modern Picnic was launched by post-college, lunch-toting commuter Ali Kaminetsky, who wanted a more chic and sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Kaminetsky likes to call her creation “the Birkin of lunchboxes” (minus the five-digit price tag), and we’re inclined to agree. This bag adds instant polish to any outfit, can be carried as a crossbody or by its top handle, and stylishly saves your food — what’s better than that?

Kaminetsky’s fashionable and functional brainchild has made such a splash, in fact, that the brand recently introduced The Snacker, a pouch version meant for — you guessed it — snacks. At $49, it fits the equivalent of a carton of raspberries so you can bring healthy nibbles with you to work, on a plane, in the car… you get the picture.

We’re not sure what the brilliant minds at Modern Picnic will think of next, but if these bags are any indication, the future looks fashionable and food-friendly. Bon appe-chic.

Bonus Recipe: Buffalo Chicken Wrap ​from Half Baked Harvest!

As a bonus, we're throwing in one of our favorite easy and healthy wrap recipes that pushed all the right buttons on flavor. You'll combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, herbs, lettuce, and a little cheddar cheese, fold them up in wraps, then pan-fry until warm and crispy!

These easy wraps, made by Half Baked Harvest, come together in mere minutes. They're crunchy on the outside, cheesy on the inside. Serve with the deliciously creamy jalapeño lime ranch and additional buffalo sauce! These healthy wraps are great for both lunch and dinner, but equally fun for a game night, too!

First things first: start with the buffalo chicken. Shred up a couple of chicken breasts and toss them with homemade buffalo sauce, Greek yogurt (for creaminess), and fresh herbs. Most buffalo chicken fillings are made with cream cheese, but you can swap in yogurt for a healthier choice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 4 large (burrito size) whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1-2 jalapeños or poblano peppers, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Ingredients for jalapeño ranch:

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños chopped + 2 tablespoons brine
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

To assemble:

Make a cut down the center of your tortillas, then add the chicken to one corner, and the greens to another corner, and finally the cheese to another. Fold it all up, then pan-fry. So you've got...

  • One-quarter of buffalo chicken
  • Another quarter wrap of greens n' things
  • A quarter full of ranch
  • And finally a quarter full of cheese
  • Fold it all up into one triangle

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, buffalo sauce, chives, parsley, and dill.
  2. To make the ranch. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. To assemble, cut down from the center of the tortilla to the edge. Spread the chicken in the bottom left corner, then add a handful of the lettuce, jalapeño/poblano pepper, and green onions on the top left corner. Spread the ranch on the top right corner, and the cheese on the bottom right corner. Fold the buffalo chicken over the lettuce. Then, working clock-wise, folding that quarter over the ranch. And finally, fold that quarter over the cheese.
  4. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet, add 1 wrap and cook 2-3 minutes per side until crisp and golden brown. Serve warm with extra buffalo sauce, ranch, and lettuce.

The White Lotus season 3 has plenty of drama onscreen, but according to actor Jason Isaacs (who plays North Carolina patriarch Timothy Ratliff), there was more than enough drama off camera, too. WHAT! The Harry Potter actor described filming the latest season of Mike White's TV sensation "like a cross between summer camp and Lord of the Flies but in a gilded cage." Now that sounds like a great pitch for The White Lotus season 4.

Jason Isaacs says filming 'The White Lotus' wasn't a vacation.

Despite the fact their White Lotus characters are on vacation, Jason Isaacs says that filming the latest installment "wasn’t a holiday."

"Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost," he tells Vulture. "All the things you would imagine with a group of people unanchored from their home lives on the other side of the world, in the intense pressure cooker of the working environment with eye-melting heat and insects and late nights."

"They say in the show, 'What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,' but there’s an off-screen White Lotus as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama," he continues.

Some of 'The White Lotus' cast got along better than others.

So it sounds like the environment of filming The White Lotus added a whole new layer of nuance to what we see in the series thanks to some potential IRL tension...now I need a whole series just about filming this show. But just like with any social scenario, Jason says some people hit it off while others didn't get along quite as well.

"I became very close to some people and less close to others, but we still all had that experience together and there’s a certain level of discretion required," Jason says.

And while he became close with his onscreen children, Jason doesn't confirm that real-life dynamic is what we see onscreen every Sunday. After all, acting is the job, no matter what's happening in the real world.

But Jason Isaacs got "very close" with his onscreen kids.

"I just try to be Tim Ratliff in his situation. Does the fact that I spent a lot of time particularly with Patrick [Schwarzenegger], Sarah Catherine [Hook], and Sam [Nivola], and became very close to them, make any difference? I don’t know," he admits. "I’ve played opposite people I barely knew and we looked like we absolutely loved each other. I’ve played with people I know very well and the relationships don’t work. I can talk about the dynamic but whether it bled into the work or not, I have no idea."
