This Is Taylor Swift’s Favorite Cookie Recipe Revealed

We already know TSwift is really, really good at so many things, from decorating her apartment to throwing birthday parties to ruling couples’ shots on Instragram and much more. We also happen to know that she bakes like a boss (we imagine with her supermodel BFFs Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss by her side!). She recently revealed that her go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe is from Food Network favorite Anne Burrell, who she tweeted at last Wednesday: “@chefanneburrell saw you in my mentions & wanted to let you know that your chocolate chip cookie recipe was a real turning point in my life.” And we know if Tay-Tay likes it, we will too. So grab a spatula, crank up the tunes and get to baking, y’all!

Anne Burrell’s Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

— 2 cups all-purpose flour

— 1 tsp. baking powder

— ½ tsp. kosher salt

— 1 cup rolled oats

— ½ tsp. cinnamon

— ½ lb. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temp, plus more for greasing

— 1 cup packed dark or light brown sugar

— ½ cup granulated sugar

— 1 tsp. vanilla extract

— 2 large eggs

— 12 oz. block dark chocolate, coarsely chopped

— 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)

— coarse sea salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Butter a baking sheet.

2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, kosher salt, rolled oats and cinnamon.

3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Using an electric hand mixer, beat together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Beat in the vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time and beat until well combined.

4. Using a rubber spatula, gradually add the flour mixture into the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate and walnuts, if using.

5. Spoon tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between the dough balls. Bake the cookies for 12 to 13 minutes or until just beginning to color.

6. Remove the cookies from the oven and sprinkle each one with a few grains of sea salt (Note: It’s really important to do this while the cookies are hot so the salt sticks). Let the cookies cool for a couple minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Repeat with the remaining dough. (Makes about 3 dozen cookies.)

Swift — who seems to be good at just about everything she puts her mind to — even recently went to Ina Garten’s for a cooking lesson for Food Network Magazine. We have just one question though: When does she have the time to do all this?! Keep on keepin’ on, Tay. We love everything you do.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce have been taking some deserved time off after Tay's whirlwind Eras Tour and Travis' third consecutive Super Bowl. And amid engagement rumors and reports Taylor's "taking a year off" to see how things go with their relationship, this couple has been doing the most important thing: connecting!

Here's the latest update on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after the Super Bowl.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce finally had a low-key date.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted in Park City, Utah on March 10 (thanks to this clip from DeuxMoi). The couple had grabbed dinner together before hopping into their car, and considering how wild their outings are in New York City — with fans and paparazzi galore — I'm glad they were able to enjoy what looks like a more low-key experience.

Taylor appears to be in a gray coat and black boots, with her signature waves and bangs, while Travis rocks a pale two-piece outfit. And like the gentleman he is, Travis lets Tay inside the white SUV first before climbing inside.

And they continually proves how much they love each other.

The date comes after the couple spent some time away “reconnecting after a very busy year," a Page Six source says, while another source tells the publication a post-vacation outing “went unnoticed.”

“They weren’t photographed or anything,” the second source continues. Way to fly under the radar! But one thing that didn't fly under our radar? Travis and Taylor saying "I love you" on live TV after the AFC championship game.

After the Chiefs won the game, and Travis gave a very passionate speech about how he's "never satisfied" when it comes to football, Taylor and Travis embraced and shared a kiss.

Travis appears to say, "I love you so much," and Taylor seems to reply with, "I love you. I'm so proud of you" (which you can see in this video, and per People's report.) I just love love!

Dating or marrying someone you can't be yourself with feels awful, but Gisele Bündchen is done with that. She's moved on from life with Tom Brady and has been happily enjoying her relationship with jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. She even announced she was pregnant with their first child together last year! But that doesn't means she's forgotten how she felt during her former marriage, nor is she shying away from embracing all the new feelings!

Gisele Bündchen is basking in the afterglow that comes from ending a draining relationship. According to Page Six, a source told them she's experiencing a "freer" feeling with her current boyfriend Joaquim Valente. This comes as a surprise because she and Tom Brady always looked happy in pictures together, but we see how they don't always show what happens behind closed doors.

But she's not slighting Tom! If anything, the source noted the former model is "grateful for what she had" with him and "is blessed for their children."

The observation Gisele's made is noticing that she "felt like she lived in Tom [Brady’s] shadow for a long time," according to the source. Sometimes we shrink ourselves so we don't eclipse the grandiose personality of our partners which can make us feel invisible over time. That's not to say Gisele wanted to overshadow Tom, but feeling heard and seen in a relationship should apply to both partners.

Knowing that the source says she's "absolutely loving this new chapter," it's incredibly valid for Gisele to embrace what feels like a breath of fresh air!

In a previous Page Six reporting, a different insider dished about how Tom felt upon learning Gisele was having a baby with Joaquim. "It just wasn’t something that was on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him he was stunned, to say the least." However, the former pro-football player accepted this new development in his ex-wife's life.

"At the end of the day, Tom’s sole focus is on his children and his career. What Gisele decides to do with her own life is really none of his business."

Some desserts are timeless classics (looking at you, cookies and brownies), while others have truly faded into nostalgia territory. From over-the-top gelatin molds to fruity treats that peaked decades ago, certain sweets just don’t have the same appeal they once did.

If you’ve ever wondered which desserts are clinging to the past (and which ones you should definitely reconsider making in today's age), it’s time to take a deliciously nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Scroll on for 8 "old school" desserts that have lost their sweet charm.

1. Baked Alaska

This extravagant dessert featuring ice cream encased in cake and meringue was once a total showstopper at fine dining establishments. However, its complexity along with the rise of simpler, more modern frozen desserts has led it to fade from the dessert zeitgeist. It’s also quite tricky to prepare at home yourself, requiring careful timing and a quick broil – all without melting the ice cream inside.

2. Ambrosia

Ambrosia was a true staple of mid-century American potlucks. It’s essentially a fruit salad mixed with canned mandarin oranges, pineapples, marshmallows, and coconut, often held together with whipped cream or (shudders) mayonnaise. It has fallen out of favor due to its heavy reliance on processed ingredients and a shift toward fresher, less-sugary desserts.

3. Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Oh, so retro! This buttery cake prepped with caramelized pineapple rings and maraschino cherries on top was wildly popular in the 1950s and ‘60s, but isn’t too hot anymore since most dessert recipes these days tend to rely on less-processed, canned ingredients. At least it looks cool!

4. Jell-O Salad

As another mid-century favorite, Jell-O salad combined flavored gelatin with a mix of fruits, marshmallows, and sometimes even vegetables like shredded carrots or olives (what the?!). Once an undeniable go-to for dinner parties and church potlucks, it’s now really seen as an oddity due to its artificial flavors, wobbly texture, and unconventional ingredient pairings.

5. Chess Pie

Chess Pie is a simple (and very sweet) Southern dessert made from eggs, sugar, butter, and vinegar or lemon juice. It also boasts a rich, custard-like filling! While it still has a niche following, it has been overshadowed by trendier, more visually appealing pies like salted caramel or chocolate silk.

6. Fruit Cake

There was once a time where you couldn’t go wrong with fruit cake. This holiday staple, oftentimes packed with candied fruits and nuts, has earned a reputation for being overly-dense and cloyingly sweet. It’s also commonly mocked for its long shelf life and dry texture, making it more of a novelty than an actual dessert.

7. Watergate Salad

A wacky creation of the 1970s, this pastel-green dessert featured pistachio pudding mix, Cool Whip, crushed pineapple, marshmallows, and nuts. Though it was once pretty trendy for the times, its artificial flavors and processed ingredients make it feel super outdated in today’s era of more natural, whole-food desserts.

8. Rice Pudding

You don’t see this one too much anymore. While rice pudding was once pretty common, it has become eclipsed by trendier desserts like crème brûlée or mousse. Its soft, slightly mushy texture and simple ingredients may feel too plain for modern dessert lovers seeking more complex flavors and textures.
