The Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay Reveals She’s Engaged and “So in Love”

Rachel Lindsay certainly knew what she was looking for in a man when she took on the role as the new Bachelorette, which made it perfectly clear that this would be a stellar season of the ever-addictive romance-based reality show. And while we may have just now been introduced to the men who will be vying for Lindsay’s heart on the new season of TheBachelorette, the star herself has just revealed something totally intriguing and wildly exciting: She’s engaged!

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay

Spilling the tea to reporters during a conference call today to promote her new season ahead of its May 22 premiere, Lindsay’s no-BS attitude (which she intended to use to narrow down her new love) was on full display when she admitted, “I am very much so in love and very much so engaged.” Eee!

Though the 31-year-old Dallas-based attorney wouldn’t reveal who her new fella is (obvs), she did add, “I am getting my happy ending!” After admitting that she would have accepted Nick Viall’s proposal should he have chosen her in the end of his Bachelor season, we can’t wait to watch Rachel Lindsay fall in love all over again, this time with her very own happy ending.

Jesse Eisenberg's been in the director's chair with movies like When You Finish Saving the World and A Real Pain under his belt, but he's just getting started. Next up is an A24 musical comedy that already has a promising cast. Maybe it's a sign of the times, but I think pop culture could use more poignant stories mixed with a dash of humor!

Keep scrolling to learn everything about Jesse Eisenberg's new musical movie.

Who's in the cast for Jesse Eisenberg's musical comedy?

Bernadette Peters

Variety reports Jesse Eisenberg's musical comedy has an impressive cast so far. Here's the familiar faces we'll see:

  • Julianne Moore
  • Paul Giamatti
  • Jesse Eisenberg
  • Bonnie Mulligan
  • Colton Ryan
  • Lilli Cooper
  • Maulik Pancholy
  • Halle Bailey
  • Havana Rose Liu
  • Bernadette Peters

What is the musical comedy about?

Variety also revealed Julianne Moore's character will be a "shy woman who is unexpectedly cast in a community theater musical production, going to extremes as she loses herself in the role."

I'm sensing Only Murders in the Building season 4 vibes with the exception of murder. Hopefully death isn't a major plot in the storyline?

Has filming started for it?

Variety reports the musical comedy began filming this month!

What kind of music can we expect to hear?

Amy Sussman/Getty Image,

While the sound for Jesse Eisenberg's musical comedy is still a secret, we can expect to hear the filmmaker's "original music and lyrics" throughout it (via Variety). Music supervisor Steven Gizicki (La La Land), executive music producer Bill Sherman (In the Heights), and cinematographer Drew Daniels (Oscar-winning Anora) are also a part of the movie.

When will Jesse Eisenberg's musical comedy premiere in theaters?

For now that news is TBD, but we'll let you know as soon we find out! Wouldn't it be nice if it premieres closer to fall?

The Frosty Swirls lineup that launched on April 15 consists of three flavors: strawberry, caramel, and brownie batter. The Strawberry Frosty Swirl features a “sweet, juicy” strawberry sauce that’s mixed throughout and placed on top of the Frosty treat. Next, Wendy’s says the Caramel Frosty Swirl tastes like a “cold, creamy candy bar.” The last flavor, Brownie Batter, is nothing but decadent and chocolatey.

"Frosty has been on Wendy's menu for 55 years and is one of the most iconic frozen treats in American culture. We're expanding on our beloved Frosty so when a sweet tooth strikes, the choice is easy for consumers: It's Gotta Be Wendy's," said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy's Company. The new cup is fitted with a domed lid that makes room for all the sweetness inside, plus makes a great dipping space for fries. Wendy’s also created a custom Frosty spoon that is “specially designed for the best experience” so you can eat every last bit of Frosty.

With storylines that stretch across centuries and span generations, the Yellowstone universe has become a full-blown dynasty that's packed with unforgettable characters and their backstories, thanks to Taylor Sheridan.

So, if you're feeling a little lost on who's who and how they're all connected, you are definitely not alone. We've laid it all out for you in one comprehensive guide to the Dutton family tree. Fair warning: there are a lot of spoilers!

1883

It makes sense to start with 1883, as the Dutton family origin story began when James Dutton, played by Tim McGraw, set out with his family to find a better life in the West following the Civil War. He became the first Dutton to settle in Montana, a decision that came after he lost his daughter, Elsa.

James is married to Margaret, portrayed by Faith Hill, who is a strong-willed woman and former Civil War nurse. The two of them traveled out west with their three children, Elsa, John, and Spencer.

Elsa was the couple's eldest daughter and also served as the narrator in 1883. Prior to her death, her first love was a cowboy named Ennis, but he was killed in a gunfight. Then, not long afterward, she fell in love again with a Comanche warrior named Sam, but while they dreamed of building a life together, Elsa ultimately died. Again, it was her death that determined the family's decision to settle in Montana.

Meanwhile, John Dutton Sr., the eldest son of James and Margaret, was only a young boy in 1883. Fans later get to meet him as a grown man in 1923. The couple's youngest son, Spencer, also doesn't appear in 1883 but goes on to play a key role in the next generation's story.

Traveling west alongside the Duttons is James' widowed sister, Claire nee Dutton, who is weighed down by unimaginable grief. She lost six of her children, as well as her husband, Henry, before the journey even began.

So, Claire brought her final child with her, Mary Abel, but tragedy struck her yet again when Mary was killed during their journey out west. The loss hits Claire so hard that she decides to take her own life at her daughter's grave.

1923

By the time 1923 begins, James and Margaret have both passed and their sons, John Sr. and Spencer, are raised by James' brother, Jacob Dutton, who takes over the Dutton Ranch and assumes the role of family patriarch. He's also married to Cara Dutton, who's originally from Ireland.

At the same time, John Dutton Sr. has grown into a capable rancher and is married to Emma Dutton.

Together, they have a son named Jack, who represents the next generation of Duttons and is engaged to Elizabeth Strafford.

The storyline of Spencer Dutton, who fans didn't get to meet in 1883, starts in 1923. Again, he was the youngest child of James and Margaret, and as an adult, he served in World War I, worked in Africa, and eventually fell in love with his wife, Alexandra.

Now, it's presumed that John Dutton II was the son of Spencer and Alexandra, but this hasn't been confirmed. What we do know is that he eventually fathers John Dutton III, the present-day patriarch of the Yellowstone Ranch.

Yellowstone

In Yellowstone, John Dutton III is the strong force behind the modern Dutton empire. As both a rancher and Montana's governor, he stands at a crossroads between tradition and change.

John was married to Evelyn Dutton, but she ultimately died following a horseback riding incident. This left John to raise their four children, Lee, Beth, Kayce, and Jamie, on his own.

Paramount

Their eldest son, Lee, was poised to inherit the ranch but was killed in the show's first season.

Paramount

Beth, their only daughter, is a complex and fiercely loyal woman who's married to Rip Wheeler, John's right-hand man.

Rip was actually taken in by John as a teen. Together, he and Beth then took in Carter, a troubled foster teen whom they're raising on the ranch.

Paramount

As for Jamie Dutton, he eventually learns he was adopted despite being raised as John's son. He also has his own son, Jamie Jr., with his ex, Christina.

Paramount

Finally, Kayce, the third Dutton son, doesn't have the closest bond with his father. He's married to Monica Long Dutton, a Native American woman from the Brocken Rock Reservation, and they have a son named Tate.

The pair had a second son, John Dutton IV, too. Sadly, he died shortly after he was born following a car accident on the way to the hospital.
