Online Dating Just Got a Lot More Intelligent

Between Tinder, HowAboutWe, Grouper and Coffee Meets Bagel, it seems like every day there’s a new dating app to try out. But if you barely have time to make dinner (or let’s be real, get it delivered), let alone explore new dating apps or pick through hundreds of mostly mediocre date options, online dating can seem like a giant time suck. This is where The League steps in.

Their tagline says it all: “Date. Intelligently.” Founded by Amanda Bradford, a former Googler who was frustrated with her lack of compatible dating options, this new dating app is for single people who know what they bring to the table. As The League tells its users, “You’re smart, busy and ambitious. You don’t need a dating app to get a date — you’re too popular as it is.”

The League (free on iOS) promises to solve some of the key user experience problems that most people have with online dating. We had a chance to talk to Bradford, and she told us “We keep track of things like flakiness — people who are hearting, but don’t message or respond to messages. The metric we want to aim for is a high match-to-message ratio. That way people don’t need to get a lot of matches to get dates. They fit your preferences and you fit theirs.”

The League’s “flakiness deterrent” results in more time for actual dating, something competitor dating apps like Tinder seem to almost discourage. “We’ve seen an incredibly high reply rate so far — we want to eliminate this false ‘swipe right’ mentality that makes people swipe on a lot of people they aren’t actually interested in. The goal is to have a high-quality interaction, a low signal to noise ratio. We want people to take their ‘hearts’ seriously and to only heart people they are really interested in,” says Amanda. The app includes a flagging system so that if the user is just there to browse and not participate, they get tossed back onto the wait list. Less clutter and more high quality matches — sounds awesome to us!

The app has extensive curation built in. Not only will you be unable to see people who don’t meet your preferences, but people who don’t meet yourpreferences also won’t be able to see you. The app also allows you to block co-workers or classmates from your profile before you start browsing.

While the app is only live in San Francisco, Bradford has plans for rapid expansion in the coming months, Our next move is going to be engaging our wait list to act as city scouts — ambassadors to recruit the critical numbers we need to launch and ensure that there is a high-quality dating pool on the app.” With a rumored waiting list of over 10,000 people, we think it won’t be long until another city joins in on the fun. Download the app today, or if you’re not in San Francisco, sign up for the waiting list so The League can come to your city.

Andrew Garfield's relationship status is always a swoon-worthy topic. Whether he's gushing about how Emma Stone is like a shot of caffeine, he's getting flustered talking to Chicken Shop Date's Amelia Dimoldenberg, or he's kissing Demi Moore on the hand, this man is always making me blush. But it looks like he might not be single anymore if some recent outings with Monica Barbaro are any indication — including a post-Oscars party!

While neither Andrew nor Monica have spoken on the relationship rumors, a People source confirmed "they've been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly"...and Monica shared a pretty funny moment with Amelia on the Oscars red carpet.

Here's what we know about those Andrew Garfield & Monica Barbaro dating rumors.

March 2025: Andrew Garfield & Monica Barbaro attend an Oscar afterparty together.

After the Oscars on March 2, Monica Barbaro and Andrew Garfield left the Vanity Fair after part together...and showed up to Beyoncé and Jay-Z's after party. No big deal! Monica wore a strapless gown with gorgeous teardrop jewel detail while Andrew looks dapper in a deep gray suit.

They also happened to arrive at the Oscars red carpet at the same time...and Monica was sitting in Andrew's eye line the whole night. what a coincidence!

February 2025: Monica Barbaro & Andrew Garfield see Jonathan Bailey's play.

The two went viral on February 20 when they showed up to Jonathan Bailey's Richard II at the Bridge Theatre, and I'm obsessed with how locked in he is on their conversation. This man is an attentive listener if I've ever seen one!

January 2025: Andrew Garfield & Monica Barbaro are photographed together.

Andrew and Monica were first seen together at W magazine's Best Performances party, alongside Eddie Redmayne and W's editor-at-large Lynn Hirschberg, in LA. They were already getting cozy!

What do you think about Andrew Garfield & Monica Barbaro? I'm personally obsessed. Stay tuned for the latest news on this low-key couple! As rumors about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner continue to swirl, Jennifer Lopez is apparently "furious." Sources spoke to Page Sixabout the "Lets Get Loud" singer's true feelings on this potential rekindling, and they're...not great. Here's what the rom-com queen reportedly feels about it all — plus, what's next for her, Ben or no Ben!

Scroll to find out how Jennifer Lopezreally feels about Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner right now...

According to Page Six, Jennifer Lopez is "not happy with constantly seeing photos" of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck together lately. The source explained that the photos are like “salt in the wound," and that she's honestly "furious" about them.

The source elaborated that the whole situation is “completely messing with her head” — and like, I get it! If My ex who split up with me went back to his other ex who he was with for over a decade, I would have all the feelings...and then some! Especially if I felt like we were "The Greatest Love Story Never Told."

These comments come after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted out together during a family paintball outing. While they've spent plenty of time together since the holiday season, this week the rumors that they may rekindle continue to pick up even more speed.

Still, another source told Page Six, “I doubt she has even seen these stories as she is consumed with the film. She has been fully concentrating on her life, her growth, and her happiness.”

Right now, Jennifer Lopez is working on an upcoming Netflix rom-com, Office Romance. Jenny from the Block is starring alongside Brett Goldstein in this exciting new movie, and TBH it makes sense that she'd channel all her energy into her work. This Leo has got to shine!

The 2025 Oscars were full of incredible red carpet outfits and fun moments (like Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo's Wicked opening medley!!), but before the iconic awards show aired, our favorite starts partied the night away...including Zoë Kravitz and Noah Centineo. This duo has been raising some eyebrows over the last few weeks and this marks the second party they've been spotted leaving together.

Here's what we know about those Zoë Kravitz and Noah Centineo dating rumors.

Zoë Kravitz and Noah Centineo partied the night away in Hollywood.

'Twas the night before the Oscars (or the morning of the Oscars depending on how you look at it), and Zoë Kravitz and Noah Centineo were seen leaving a pre-Oscars party together. DeuxMoi sources claim they hopped into a car around 2:20 in the morning on March 2.

While these two haven't taken their relationship official, leaving the same party together definitely has the internet talking — especially since this isn't the first time they've been spotted together recently! Zoë and Noah were also spotted leaving Danielle Haim's birthday party in New York City on February 15.

The parties come four months after Zoë Kravitz and ex-fiancé Channing Tatum called off their wedding. "The split is amicable," one source told People. "They realized they're at different stages in life."

“Ultimately once [Blink Twice] ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted. It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped," added an Us Weeklysource.

But Zoë has nothing but good things to say about Channing, telling Elle (after the premiere of their movie Blink Twice) that "I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much."

"He has so much more coming, and I think he's in a place as an actor where he's feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him," she adds, saying she's "excited for people to keep witnessing that."

Severanceturns office culture on its head with it's eery sci-fi vibes, but I can't stop watching it. With only a few episodes left, I've been searching for similar books to read because I need more tales of looming conspiracy theories. It's the one thing that's keep me from doomscrolling so I'll gladly take fictionalized depictions of wild occurrences at the moment. Not to mention it's just fun reading different authors' ideas of secretive policies gone wrong and their effects on the people they're designed to keep in line.

Sounds like fun, right?

Here's the best books like Severance that are full of mind-bending conspiracy theories

The Summer I Turned Pretty fans have wondered for years whether season 3 will be the final installment of the hit Prime show. After all, there are only three books in the series. But after learning this season will feature three extra episodes — and that we could be getting a spinoff — Prime Video finally just confirmed that the show will end with its third season.

Keep reading for the latest The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 update.

'The Summer I Turned Pretty' season 3 will be the final chapter.

Erika Doss/Prime Video

After I noticed The Summer I Turned Pretty Instagram account had changed its profile picture and bio on March 6, I figured we were in for an announcement this week. And on March 7, the streamer announced The Summer I Turned Pretty: We'll Always Have Summer would be the final installment of the show.

They also confirmed the 11 new episodes will drop this July. Even though I'm heartbroken that this will be the last season, releasing the show in July is the perfect way to honor Susannah and all the Cousins Beach traditions, which is what TSITP is really all about.

Prime Video

I love this new look at Belly because of how grown up she looks. She's not the awkward 16-year-old we meet at the beginning of season 1, unsure of herself and unsure of her future. She might not have all the answers in season 3, but she definitely has more confidence, agency, and power to figure things out than ever before. And I'm rooting for her the whole way.

Prime Video

We don't have a trailer or official release date yet (aside from sometime in July), but we do know the season 3 cast will include Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Jackie Chung, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, and (hopefully) Rachel Blanchard.

Prime Video gave us an unexpected first look at season 3 when they gathered the cast — all styled with their season 3 looks — to rewatch some episodes and offer exclusive commentary. You can see Steven and Taylor have both grown out their hair, while Conrad's rocking some blond. Overall, it's very Americana and, most importantly, very beachy.

And we won't have to wait long to see them back in action because new episodes are dropping in just four months. I'll be counting down every single day.

Are you sad The Summer I Turned Pretty is ending with season 3? I already know I'll be rewatching the whole series for the rest of my life. Stay tuned for news on the release date, and which insane needle drops we can expect this year.
