Book-to-screen lovers, get ready — Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks are starring together in Prime Video's adaptation of The Better Sister. These two are the on-screen duo we didn't know we needed, but now that we have this first look at the series, we can't picture this show any other way. Biel and Banks were spotted in New York City throughout last summer as they filmed the project, and now it's finally time to watch the adaptation. Here's what you need to know about the show!

As Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks join forces in The Better Sister, the story follows estranged sisters Chloe and Nicky, played by Jessica and Elizabeth, respectively, who are brought back together following the death of Chloe's lawyer husband Adam, played by Corey Stoll.
Before the tragedy, Chloe worked as a successful media executive and seemed to live a perfect life with Adam and their teenage son Ethan, portrayed by Maxwell Acee Donovan. Nicky, on the other hand, had been struggling with personal issues, like her finances and staying sober.
As estranged siblings, Chloe and Nicky lived separate lives. But after Adam's murder, they're forced to confront their family history and figure out who was responsible for the crime.
According to Executive Producer, Regina Corrado, the titular sisters have done "biblically horrible" things to one another. So, for viewers, answering the question of who the "better sister" is might not be straightforward.
"It changes minute to minute, hour to hour, in the sense that we're all good and bad. It's all very fluid and ongoing. The question is answered and unanswered and answerable and unanswerable. It changes moment to moment," Olivia Milch explained.

Yes, The Better Sister is based on a book by Alfair Burke! And it's no secret that certain book-to-screen adaptations are hit or miss, but according to Burke, she actually "marveled at the creativity and talent brought to this project." Her novel was passed into new hands, but Burke shared how pleased she was with both the production and casting.
"I could not have hoped for better actors than Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks, who have captured the complexities of that sibling relationship so perfectly. I cannot wait for everyone to have a chance to watch these episodes," she said.

Until we receive positive news about the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, we can only rely on our imaginations to come up with the ultimate fan cast. Instead of stretching our brains trying to find the perfect Feyre or Tamlin, we combed through tons of ideas to find the dreamiest representations of the fantasy characters BookTok loves arguing about.

It's not to say she's completely heartless, but her ice cold demeanor often makes it seem that way. Given Sophie Turner's prior role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, we agree that she should play the eldest Archeron sister.

He's supposed to be the patriarch of the Nesta, Elain and Feyre's household, but his bad decisions have left them in a destitute situation. She looks exactly how we imagine the High Priestess would, right down to the slant of her eyes.
