15 Trendy Jewelry Ideas Under $100 We're Loving for Spring

trendy jewelry earrings

From chunky shoes to '70s-inspired nails, the trends in 2022 are all about volume. But that's not all that's on our radar when it comes to trendy jewelry ideas. Pearlcore is also having a huge moment, and dainy pieces like super-small studs and rings haven't left the stage either. In short, the trends these days are much more diverse than in years past. And that's a beautiful thing! Whether you're inspired by elegant pearls, funky florals, beachy bracelets, or something like a cocktail of all three, this list of trendy jewelry ideas under $100 is bound to have something you fall in love with for the springtime.

Catbird Daisy Chain Necklace ($25)

Both dainty and somehow eye-catching, this necklace harkens back to the Y2K era, like so many of today's trends do. Yet it also feels totally elevated... which is just how trends from yesteryear *should* feel in 2022.

Goddess Raffia and Pearl Flower Earrings ($48)

Like we said, pearls — in the form of the pearlcore trend — have made a huge comeback. These delightful earrings combine the elegance of pearls with a beachy woven texture, making for a truly unique and versatile pair of dangles.

Altar'd State 70'S Retro Floral Earrings ($25)

These '70s-inspired, statement-making earrings are about as far out as it gets, but they'll look perfectly at home alongside other major trends of today, including flares, chunky platforms, and shag hairstyles.

Girls Crew Cherry On Top Studs ($40)

To switch course to a different decade in history, these adorable little studs are straight-up '90s. Right down to the tiny cherry pattern, we haven't been this excited about a pair of earrings since middle school.

Sunshine Tienda Flower Hoop Earrings ($38)

Soak up the sunshine in these bright, sunny, floral hoops. When rocking statement earrings, we personally love going necklace-free. Throw your hair in a cute ponytail to show them off, or style your locks with a voluminous '70s silhouette.

Catbird Little Disco Ring ($64)

Don't worry, dainty jewelry lovers... tiny rings are still a thing, and this minimalist piece is about as pretty as they come.

Madewell White Jade Necklace Set ($48)

We're loving that necklaces come in sets now. Instead of worrying about what to layer, everything is all perfectly paired. The gorgeous jade in this piece stands out against the yellow-gold metal.

BP. Set of 5 Heart Rings ($8, was 10)

It's hard to believe this set of chunky, youthful, on-trend rings is only EIGHT dollars! Mix and match them for a full styled look, or rock one at a time — your choice.

Ana Luisa Suzanne Medium Pavé Huggie Hoops ($95)

Coming in at just under $100, these hoops are both affordable and totally classic. They're a pair you'll be able to rock time and time again.

Madewell Retro Daisy Enamel Bangle Bracelet ($28, was $32)

This cute little dangle is the perfect complement to all your springy pastel looks. Stack it with gold bracelets to create a more maximalist, eclectic look.

Anthropologie Round Stone Cocktail Ring ($44)

Chunky rings like this classic cocktail ring are what it's all about this spring and summer season. Tiny touches like these are the perfect way to effortlessly elevate your outfits and make them more cohesive.

Maple & J Twisted Bold Gold Bracelet ($85)

Another affordable classic, this gold bangle has just the right amount of visual interest thanks to its simple twisted design. If would look *fantastic* in that previously mentioned stack of gold bracelets!

Tristen Ikaika Saint Croissant Ring ($50)

Take classic gold jewelry to the next level with a stylish ring like this one on your middle or pointer finger. Bonus points for a perfect spring mani to go with it.

Mejuri Tiny Pearl Necklace ($85)

Want to try out the pearlcore trend but can't quite say goodbye to your dainty jewelry aesthetic? This tiny string of pearls has spring 2022 written all over it.

Sweet Escape Puka Shell Stretch Bracelet ($38)

It's not quite summer yet, but we predict beachy aesthetics will be just as on-trend in 2022 as they were last year. Get a head start with this super-cute shell bracelet that also has a touch of pearl.

Denimis essentially seasonless, but come fall and winter, we’re reaching for jeans and jackets like it’s a full-time job. Gone are the days of shorts and skirts – and even your favorite pair of leggings won’t cut it once the temperatures dip. It’s officially time to trade in your years-old skinny jeans for trendier denim pieces that’ll instantly lift your looks! Let these denim trends guide your every style move.

This season erases everything you thought you knew about jeans. They're no longer the uncomfortable, restricting silhouettes of years past – this year’s most popular denim styles are all about comfort. I’m talking baggy silhouettes and wide-leg styles that not only feel good on the body, but provide a unique shape to your outfits that you’ll have tons of fun playing with.

Baggy Jeans

Hollister

Hollister Low-Rise Dark Wash Super Baggy Jeans

I simply cannot escape the baggy jeans trend. After experiencing the sheer comfort of this pair from Hollister, I don’t see myself reaching for high-waisted, skin-tight styles any time soon.

Meredith Holser

The low waist aspect of this pair in particular provides an elongating effect to my torso, and I love wearing them with basic tops. They honestly feel like I’m wearing sweatpants, but don’t look lazy at all.

Urban Outfitters

BDG Ozzy Loose Jean

If it’s a relaxed fit you’re looking for, these loose jeans from BDG are it. They have a straight leg that’s reminiscent of vintage denim styles, so they’re super timeless and easy to wear with just about anything. I know what you may be thinking – baggy jeans aren’t necessarily flattering around the bum. And while that is true, everyone’s going crazy for this low-key style. You can definitely up the baggy look by going all-out with layers and accessories.

Super Wide Leg Jeans

Free People

Levi's Ribcage Wide-Leg Jeans

I’m a big believer that wide leg jeans look good on everyone. Their natural flared effect can help shape out your waist, adding to an hourglass look. They have a very laid back feel to them that looks truly iconic alongside some statement boots!

Abercrombie & Fitch

Abercrombie & Fitch High Rise Wide Leg Jean

Though you can shop wide leg jeans in all sorts of waist heights, I think high-rise styles are the most flattering of them all. This Abercrombie & Fitch pair comfortably (but snugly) hugs your waist and hips before falling into a more relaxed fit around your legs.

Huge Cuffs

Free People

We The Free Final Countdown Cuffed Low-Rise Jeans

Want that off-duty model look? Cuff it. Jeans with exaggerated cuffs are everywhere this season! They’re perfect for drawing attention to the bottom half of your outfits, so there's no excuse not to rock these with your favorite fall shoes!

American Eagle

American Eagle Stretch High-Waisted Stovepipe Cuffed Jean

The cuffing in question also works in a two-toned denim look that’s super easy to achieve. I love that this pair from American Eagle still boasts a simple, familiar silhouette, but has a unique style twist in the cuffs. I’d wear them with some fall-esque clogs and an oversized flannel up top.

Deep, Dark Washes

Gap

Gap Mid Rise '90s Loose Jeans

If I had to sum up the dark wash denim trend in one word, it’d be ‘sophisticated.’ The deeper, almost-black blue color is definitely less casual than a light or medium wash would be, so I think they’re perfect for elevating a still-cozy outfit.

J.Crew

J.Crew Denim Trouser

You could even wear them to the office with the right silhouette and matching garments – these loose-fitting denim trousers could become a total main character moment when paired with ballet flats, a belt, and a tailored cardigan.

Denim Barn Jackets

J.Crew

J.Crew Denim Barn Jacket

Moving away from pants territory, denim jackets will always be a proper fit for fall. Right now, barn jackets (also referred to as chore jackets or barn coats – they’re all the same style) are having a moment, taking on denim in the cutest way. This J.Crew jacket is the perfect final piece for layering on top of sweaters and flannels, and it would even look chic worn with a pair of jeans in a coordinating wash!

Free People

We The Free Denim Barn Coat

This Free People jacket boasts a contrasting corduroy collar that can add a bit of spice to your looks. The oversized, loose fit gives that cool-girl effect that works well with more form-fitting garments like dresses or skirts. I think this is a definite staple that you can wear year after year!

No matter what kind of day you're having, Marissa Cooper's having a worse one. Mischa Barton's The O.C. character went through the ringer during the first three seasons of the teen drama (remember how she overdosed in Tijuana...and also saw her parents post-hookup after their divorce?).

And during her time on The O.C., Mischa Barton struggled with drug and alcohol abuse. She was arrested for a DUI in 2007 and eventually received involuntary psychiatric hospitalization in 2009 after allegedly threatening to end her own life. And in a new interview, Peter Gallagher (who played Sandy Cohen on the show) says he's "just so grateful" for "the fact that she’s still alive."

  • Mischa Barton starred alongside Peter Gallagher in The O.C. from 2003-2006.
  • The actress has revealed the "trauma" of being a star at that point in her life.
  • Peter recently opened up about how he's thankful "she’s still alive."

The O.C. follows Ryan Atwood, who moves in with the Cohens after getting kicked out of his mom's house, and starts a relationship with Marissa shortly after. While Peter Gallagher played Adam Brody's TV dad instead of Mischa's, Sandy was a definitely father figure for Marissa, and it seems like Peter felt that same responsibility off camera.

"I’ve always felt very protective of her," Peter told The Independent. "First fame is toxic. First fame can kill you. She was 16 years old when she started working with us, so just the fact that she’s still alive, I’m just so grateful."

“You can go to therapy every day for the rest of your life,” Mischa said in a 2023 interview with The Sunday Times. “There’s just a certain amount of trauma [from] all that I went through, particularly in my early twenties, that just doesn’t go away overnight.”

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage revealed that season 1 overdose not only served as a cliffhanger, but gave “network executives an escape hatch on a performer they had been wary about” (via People). But Mischa Barton got her big break, becoming "how people knew the show," and (thankfully) Marissa recovered — only to die after a car crash in season 3.

As hard as that season 3 ending is to watch, Mischa did have the opportunity to watch it with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke for the first time on their rewatch podcast. "It needed to be a thing, after everything she's been through, but if it's here I'll watch it with you," Mischa says.

"I couldn't do it, Mischa, I couldn't do it," Rachel adds. "But I'm going to do it if you're going to do it."

Mischa says even though being written off the show "was a little bit of a bummer," it wasn't necessarily a surprise. "The character was just doing too much," she told Vanity Fairin 2023. "And I think they ran out of places for her to go. It was not the best thing in the world, [but] there wasn’t much you could do at that point. It was whether she could sail off into the sunset, or die. At that point, I guess it’s better to have the more dramatic ending.”

I still remember my first pair of UGG boots. They were the classic mid-calf silhouette in a cute-at-the-time gray color, and I truly wore them out. Thankfully, the fashion zeitgeist has moved way past pairing them with basic black leggings and the ever-adored Victoria’s Secret Pink oversized long sleeve shirt (maybe just me?), but UGG boots still have that certain timeless charm about them – totally staple-worthy and definitely as comfy as can be. Every style symbol from Bella Hadid and Zendaya to Jennifer Lopez has donned the warmth-lined boots at one point or another, awarding them complete icon status.

That’s what I love about UGG boots: no matter who you are (or your level of fame), they look good on everyone. Not to mention, they’re ever-so practical for the winter months. The dense lining that’s become a signature for UGG boots was originally designed for Australian surfers’ feet to keep ‘em warm against the chilling winter waters, but now, they stand up nicely against freezing temperatures in the city and beyond.

To reignite (or simply solidify) your love for the 2010s status symbol-turned 2020s fashion statement boots, here are 8 UGG boots that range from classic to earth-shattering, all begging to become a part of your winter wardrobe.

Nordstrom

UGG Ultra Mini Classic Boot

A shortened version of the OG UGG boots, this style hits around your ankles like some booties would. They're shoppable in 10 different colors at Nordstrom, from subtle neutrals to saturated greens, blues, and pinks. Of course, you'll reap the warming benefits of the wool-rich lining made to feel like genuine shearling.

Nordstrom

UGG Classic Ultra Mini Platform Boot

What this boot takes from the ankle height, it adds to the chunky platform soles. I've been seeing platform UGG boots just about everywhere since they debuted last year, and I love 'em because they give every look a nice boost. Your cold-weather ensemble will also become instantly trend-worthy since these boots are Bella Hadid-approved.

Nordstrom

UGG Ashton Zip Waterproof Boot

If you, like me, have to make it through through snowy, wet winters, classic UGG boots aren't the most practical choice for commuting. The soles on classic styles (like the ones mentioned above) are made of a foamy synthetic material that doesn't necessarily stand up to moisture and ice, whereas the rubber sole on these bad boys is durable and waterproof. Of course, you still get that undeniably recognizable UGG look from the chestnut brown colorway and the little logo stamp on the sides of these boots.

Nordstrom

UGG Classic New Heights Genuine Shearling Cuffable Boot

Okay – I am thoroughly obsessed with these UGG boots. The bold, curvaceous soles remind me of go-go boots you'd find in the '70s, making this style instantly timeless. The tall calf shaft can be worn rolled up for added warmth or cuffed down to reveal the cozy faux-shearling lining, so you essentially get two looks in one unique shoe.

Nordstrom

UGG Classic Ultra Mini Alpine Bootie

Après ski season is swiftly approaching, and I'd argue there's no better shoe to slip into after a day on the slopes than some plush UGG boots. These booties have an especially cozy vibe to them, thanks to the moccasin-inspired stitching along the seams. The shorter height also makes them easier to slip into than traditional calf-grazing UGGs!

UGG

UGG Classic Twin Seam New Heights Boot

These UGG boots don't have to work hard to make a statement – the 3-inch platform heel does most of the talking. The footbed of this style is adorned with UGG's classic, dense lining, while the ankle part is simply suede, making them easy to wear over socks and other wintery layers like tights or leggings.

Nordstrom

UGG Classic Mini Platform Boot

Fitted with the ever-trendy platform soles and a boot shaft that hits a little higher on your calves than the UGG Ultra Minis, these are the style to snag if you want a nice balance of style and practicality this winter. The lining will keep your feet super warm, all while the boosted silhouette of these boots adds unmissable flair.

Former Disney Channel star Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin are certainly living the sweet life after tying the knot in Palvin's native Hungary. The couple, who have been together for nearly five years, have always been pretty low-key — except for the occasional and undeniably adorable Instagram post (and a stunning wedding!). We are simply ~obsessed~ with this celebrity couple, especially after they pulled out all the stops for their couple's Halloween costume. Keep scrolling to see some of their best moments :').

See Dylan Sprouse & Barbara Palvin's Halloween Couple's Costume!

For Halloween Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin stunned as the Phantom and Christine from Phantom of the Opera. Dylan wore a mask and a black cape, while Barbara wore a beautiful white dress. While the costume is obviously a nod to the musical, it also totally reminds us of their day as bride and groom.

"In Sleep He Sang to Me," Barbara said in a post, quoting the musical's titular number. "@dylansprouse my forever Phantom."

Who did Dylan Sprouse marry?

On the couple's wedding day (July 15, 2023), Barbara wore a Vivienne Westwood wedding gown to celebrate her Hungarian nuptials, bringing together their nearest and dearest for an intimate(-ish) celebration. Barbara and Dylan tied the knot on her parent's property, which conveniently doubles as an event venue, with plans to host an larger wedding in California in the fall.

"This past weekend was supposed to be an intimate event, but we ended up having 115 guests in the end because there are a lot of people we care about, and we wanted them all to be there," Barbara told Vogue.

When did Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin get engaged?

Barbara Palvin on Instagram: "♥️"

After months of speculation surrounding the couple's engagement, Dylan and Barbara confirmed their engagement in conversation with Sprouse's twin brother, actor Cole Sprouse, for V Magazine in June, sharing that they got engaged last September.

"We didn't necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement," Dylan said. "What we wanted to do with Stephen [Gan, V editor-in-chief] and the V team is make something that was kind of tongue-in-cheek about the nature of private versus public. We're playing with the idea of perception."

Barbara noted that the lovebirds wanted to announce the news "on our time," adding, "When some people leaked the information that we got engaged, our PR team was like, 'Hey, so you guys should do maybe a post about it or talk to this magazine or talk to that magazine…' That really annoyed me because I knew we were building this story up. So, I'm very happy that we ended up doing it our way."

According to People, the couple met back in 2017 after a party when the Suite Life On Deck star slid into the model’s DMs (and as they say, the rest is history). The duo made their relationship Instagram official back in 2018 with Barbara’s sweet birthday tribute for Dylan’s 26th birthday.

Let’s be real here for a second though, we all knew they were endgame the minute Dylan went above and beyond to support Barbara at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show that same year (remember this viral video?). Three days after the fashion show, the Hungarian model told Vogue Australia that she hadn’t had a boyfriend in six years, but had now found “the perfect guy” in Dylan (we aren’t crying, you are).

How old are Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse?

Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images

Barbara Palvin was born on October 8, 1993, making her 31 years old. Dylan Sprouse was born on August 4, 1992, meaning he's 32 years old. So there's only a one-year age gap between them!
