This “Fast and Furious” Feud Keeps Getting Messier

Brace yourselves, Fast and Furious fans: The feud between Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson over the release date of Fast and Furious 9 just took another turn for the nasty.

Yesterday, the actor-singer made headlines when he accused The Rock of holding up the film’s production in pursuit of his own spinoff movie centered on his Fast character, Luke Hobbs. After assuring fans that he wouldn’t be deleting his post about the tension-inducing situation, Gibson, 38, doubled down on his stance, throwing even more jabs Johnson’s way.

Posting a photo of the original franchise cast, he wrote: “Diversity, love, multi ethnic worldwide multi generational, United Nations, One Race, Fast Family……” From there, he directed his attention back to his costar, adding, “[U]ntil Dewayne showed up.”

According to Gibson, the trouble stemmed from what he says was Johnson’s desire to be the film’s main focus: “I guess this whole time he had a problem cause he wasn’t the ONLY ONE on the movie poster……….. I guess dreams do come true congratulations to @hhgarcia41 and @therock you guys are just amazing you really broke up the #FastFamily.”

The Ride Along 2 star also claimed that he tried to address what he felt was a looming issue before it ever got to this point, saying, “I tried to warn you guys… You thought I was hating…… I was simply fighting to keep the family together. What makes us great is when you see us all TOGETHER we don’t fly solo….. I got 3 years of venting on this clown.”

He finished up the lengthy post by giving a nod to the film’s original cast members, claiming that while some had also been offered spinoffs, each had “TURNED IT DOWN!!!”

The Baywatch star has yet to respond, but another cast member may have chosen a side in the feud with a familial post of his own.

Uploading a shot of himself along with Paul Walker and Gibson with the simple caption, “Brotherhood…” Vin Diesel seemed to be indicating his stance on the divide with support of the latter.

Brotherhood...

While it’s entirely possible Diesel’s post is unrelated, it seems unlikely, especially since Gibson shared the upload, adding, “Never confuse determination with desperation….. What’s understood don’t have to be explained…… 44 million just got the memo…. Although it appears to be…. I’ve never been in this alone…….. #PerceptionVsReality #FastFamily like I said we don’t fly solo.”

Luigi Mangione sparked a media frenzy after his arrest for the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and details of the case set the internet ablaze with speculation and theories, transforming the tragedy into a gripping real-life mystery. The bizarre circumstances surrounding the case, coupled with the public’s insatiable appetite for true crime, quickly turned Luigi Mangione into a household name.

As shocked as I already am about the whole situation, nothing could have prepared me for the thirst edits or the Luigi slideshows playing against Hannah Montana's "He Could Be The One"— are y'all okay?! And it looks like the celebrity fascination is peaking because 7 days after his arrest, a Luigi Mangione documentary is already on its way.

Here's everything we know about the Luigi Mangione documentary coming soon.

A Luigi Mangione documentary is in development from Stephen Robert Morse.

Jeff Swensen/Getty Images

Deadline confirms that Stephen Robert Morse (who's behind documentaries like Amanda Knox and How to Rob a Bank on Netflix) is developing a feature documentary about 26-year-old Luigi Mangione. The filmmaker, who's been nominated for two Emmys, is already set to direct.

“This case is complex and raises important questions about vigilantism, the devastating cost of a privatized healthcare system, and the inevitability of violence when peaceful change is seen as impossible,” Stephen says in an interview with Deadline. “My goal is to present a balanced exploration of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s assassination, showing all sides of the story while respecting the profound loss of life and its impact on everyone involved.”

In the age of the internet, it's no surprise a documentary is coming together so quickly. And Stephen is already planning how to engage with members of Gen Z who will be tuning in, noting that “this documentary will be memed.” But he also explains that he wants the film to “foster a deeper understanding” of the entire legal situation while also honoring the loss, which will help not to alienate older generations.

The internet has one celebrity they want to see play Luigi Mangione.

Even though this Luigi Mangione documentary might include interviews with the individuals involved instead of a cast of actors, the internet is already fancasting a hypothetical feature film (which, based on the current obsession with biopics, isn't out of the realm of possibility).

The most popular fancast is Dave Franco, and honestly the resemblance is uncanny. "No audition needed. I crown you Luigi!" one TikToker says in the comments, while another jokes, "He was born for this Role.. it is destiny."

Stay tuned for the latest news on this documentary — any any potential feature films.

Christmas has come early for two reasons: Carpool Karaoke is back — and so is Lady Gaga! Wondering what they have in common? Everything!

The 2010's sensation gave us amazing celebrity appearances with James Corden as driver extraordinaire, and stars like Harry Styles, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez. Lady Gaga joined the carpool in 2016 — with over 88 million views on Youtube — singing songs like "Million Reasons" and "Bad Romance" to her heart's content.

Finally, the pop star — and the show itself, TBH — made a return this week! And more than that? Lady Gaga even debuted her new Christmas song. I've already played it multiple times, so I know it's about to top my most-played Christmas songs. Excited? Here's everything you need to know about the surprise song drop, the return of Carpool Karaoke, and more!

See how Carpool Karaoke gave us the biggest surprise of 2024 — a new Lady Gaga Christmas song!

In an unexpected trailer for A Carpool Karaoke Christmas, Zane Lowe can be seen accepting a phone call from the one and only James Corden who has a huge favor to ask. The first passenger Lowe picks up is the "Bad Romance" songstress herself — followed by Chappelle Roan and Dua Lipa's own individual appearances.

The car's decked out in green wreaths and festive red bows which adds to the Christmas spirit as everyone sings along to famous holiday songs. Lady Gaga can also be heard singing "Christmas Tree" which has fans in the trailer's comment section besides themselves with glee!

According to Deadline, the special premiered on Apple TV+ December 15, so it's not too late to watch it if you're just as excited as we are. But that's not all!

The outlet also reported Lady Gaga and Lowe released a new version of "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" on all streaming music platforms! This means you get to hear the pop star give the nostalgic song a punk rock vibe that's now stuck in our heads.

If Lady Gaga tells us not to pout or cry, we're going to listen! (And sing along while we're at it 😉)

Sony Pictures

Aries (March 21 – April 20): Maggie

Maggie is one of the most ambitious characters in this movie. While she may be the villain in Miles' story, she just may put that drive to good use instead of taking advantage of her partner's industry connections and incredible kindness. I'd like to believe that after their breakup, she takes a long, hard look in the mirror and pursues her passions without throwing anyone else under the bus. Because, Aries, at your core you are one of the most determined people out there who can truly use your power to achieve anything you put your mind to. Just let Maggie be a warning: if you let that fervor go too far, it could get the best of you — and hurt those around you.

Sony Pictures

Taurus (April 21 – May 21): Arthur

Who else would live in the same house for 47 years, but a Taurus? His eclectic house is full of charm and quirks and stories alike, leaving Iris to wonder who this wild, witty man really is that lives next door. And while Arthur has one of the most impressive lives and careers out of anyone in this movie, he's humble enough to bury the lede and let his life speak for itself. Achievements aren't what matter most to Arthur — the people and the world around him. However, don't be fooled: this man is stubborn as a bull, actively avoiding his mail because he doesn't wanna give the industry what they want from him. While that's not inherently bad, he almost let that stubborn streak keep him from one of the happiest nights of his life.

Sony Pictures

Gemini (May 22 – June 21): Jasper

I will say this until the cows come home (whatever that means): Geminis are not inherently two-faced or bad! They really aren't! However, their inherent duality can allow for some questionable choices when it goes unchecked — especially if said Gemini is particularly selfish á la Jasper. Instead of using his duality to enrich his inner life, Jasper uses it to live one life with Iris and one with his fiancée. He may be a brilliant writer — and Geminis I know you're incredibly intelligent — but it'll always be overshadowed by this two-sided take he has on life. Fingers crossed he eventually figured out how to put all of himself into what matters: his family (that he literally chose).

Sony Pictures

Cancer (June 22 – July 22): Mr. Napkinhead

Mr. Napkinhead may not be an actual character, but nothing is more sentimental than a napkin-faced, widowed father doing a beloved bit for his daughters. There's an innate level of empathy in Mr. Napkinhead that radiates Cancer behavior — it's a sense of caring so much for everyone else that you're willing to do whatever song and dance brings others joy. Protect yourself though, Cancer. This kind, caring nature can be incredibly draining if you're always putting on for everyone else and not saving enough energy for yourself. Instead of wearing yourself as thin as a napkin (see what I did there?), give your loving gifts thoughtfully and intentionally.

Sony Pictures

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Amanda

Who has more main character energy than Amanda? I mean, she literally sees herself as a main character in her own imaginary trailer of her life! She may do work behind the scenes when it comes to movies, but that doesn't make her any less of a drama queen. Much like you, Leo, Amanda's able to use her big dreams and big drive to build the beautiful life she wants — however, her desire for the picture perfect lifestyle can get in her way too. Thankfully, she doesn't let it totally take her down (I really thought we lost our high heel loving girl boss after that breakup), instead channeling her energy into doing it for the plot and meeting her soulmate. The most extreme of extreme Leo behavior, TBH.

Sony Pictures

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Bristol

If Amanda is the queen of main character, type A behavior, imagine the organization it requires to be her personal assistant. Bristol is all that and then some, making sure Amanda's life is queued up to a tee — even when it's seemingly falling apart. While we don't get too much Bristol in this Nancy Meyers masterpiece, I just know this Virgo queen has a spotless home, a color-coded to-do list, and high standards for her partner. You don't rock a ponytail like that and live otherwise.

Sony Pictures

Libra (September 22 – October 22): Iris

Iris wants the most beautiful, love-filled life — which is so totally Libra it hurts. Her other incredibly Libra trait? Pining over who she can't have (I'm looking at you, Jasper). There's just something about an unrequited love that hits Libras right where it hurts...but they can't help leaning in! It's the dramatic, daydreamer in them. And while Jasper can't truly see Iris for the wonderful woman she is, that doesn't stop her warm, caring nature from shining anyway. Iris makes friends everywhere she goes, eventually charming Miles into giving her the ultimate happy ending she's been waiting for. (Oh, & her style is incredibly her own, from her quirky wardrobe to her eccentric and intricately decorated English cottage — Libra to the max)

Sony Pictures

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21): Ethan

Scorpios, please know I am not coming for you with this. I continue to evangelize the idea that Scorpios and Geminis are incredibly misunderstood — however, it's really easy for their worst traits to show up in stereotypical movie villain ways. Ethan is a really good example of this, proving that your guarded nature can really catch up to you if you don't keep an eye on it, Scorpio. Instead of letting Amanda in and being honest with her about what's not working in their relationship, he resorts to putting up a wall, bottling it all up, and cheating on her. My advice to Ethan in the future? Let that soft, water sign center shine! You have feelings, and when they're feeling hurt or neglected, TELL someone. You deserve to be heard too!

Sony Pictures

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): Miles

Miles is the epitome of a Sagittarius. He's got a great sense of humor, he's very comfortable with people quickly, he's silly and fun — the kind of friend you always wanna have at your party. It's great because Miles really doesn't care what anyone else thinks, so he's ready to sing a song in the middle of a Blockbuster or sweetly whisk an eyelash out of your eye at a moments notice. He literally says he wants to to celebrate "being young and being alive" — basically the entire ethos of being a Sagittarius. 'Nuff said.

Sony Pictures

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Graham

Oh Graham, you beautiful Capricorn. Where do I even begin? This man cares about seeming "respectable" from the start, ultimately proving that he's put together a carefully curated life for himself, while still allowing himself to let loose and have fun when the time (AKA the pub) calls for it. This earth sign reads parenting books before bed, has an editor's attention to detail (literally), and is extremely confident. However, he compartmentalizes his life — and that could keep him from letting his worlds beautifully bleed together. Luckily, a certain Leo waltzed into his life, and balanced out his very grounded approach to life with her fiery energy.

Sony Pictures

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): Ben

Ben is a world-changer...or at least a cinematic world-changer from what we can see. This creative sees the bigger picture, fighting for Amanda's ultimate vision with each trailer they make together. His storytelling ability is honestly really impressive, allowing him to take a story that already exists and condense it down into a digestible clip that draws people in with every second it plays. If that's not Aquarius, I don't know what is. Your unique visions are what make this world so colorful, Aquarius, and I just know this nature isn't just relegated to Ben's professional life.

Sony Pictures

Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Sophie & Olivia

These girls have their heads in the clouds...or at least the stars! All jokes aside, these whimsical, eclectic sisters are totally Pisces material. They use their rich imaginations to paint a perfect world for themselves, even after the tragic passing of their mother. Instead of wallowing in the sadness, they wonder and marvel at the man that they have for a father (and if Jude Law was my daddy, I would too — let's be real 😅). Their ability to overcome and create something beautiful is incredibly Pisces — and something we should all strive for.

I knew beauty trends were officially headed in a different direction when latte makeup dominated social media last year. Everything about it gave the appearance of soft features, making this millennial appreciate the ‘no makeup’ look more and more. And while I'm working on staying up-to-date on all the latest makeup trends, it also reminded me there are outdated trends that unintentionally age people...and definitelyneedto go.

Wanna look younger and more on-trend, too? From super metallic eyeshadow to contour that dominates your face, here are the 8 outdate makeup trends to leave in the early ‘90s to mid-2000s.

The 8 outdated makeup trends you need to stop ASAP!

1. Full Coverage Foundation

KoolShooters

There was a time where wearing full-coverage foundation was all the rage. From drugstore to high-end brands, it seems like they were consistently shoved in consumers’ faces to help us achieve a ‘full beat’ without sitting in a makeup artist’s chair. Also, those of us with dark spots or hyperpigmentation may have relied on them when we were in the thick of our skincare woes.

But these days, wearing too much foundation isn’t as popular as natural and skincare makeup are prioritized. If anything, more people are interested in wearing light-to-medium coverage foundation, skin tints, or tinted moisturizers.

2. Too Much Concealer

George Milton

It wasn’t until I watched this video by makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes that I realized some of us have been too heavy-handed with our concealers. There’s no reason we should be slapping products under the thinnest parts of our face, but we didn’t know any better!

Now that you know you can still get the desired effect with a minimal amount of concealer, don’t revert back to painting your under eyes!

3. 'Baking' Your Setting Powder

Chidi Young

Before you throw away your setting powders, step away from your makeup drawer and have a sit-down chat with me. There isn’t anything wrong with applying them to your face to help ‘set’ your foundation and concealer. However, spending over 10 minutes ‘baking’ your powder (AKA letting it sit untouched) doesn’t work for everyone.

It can lead to creased makeup which can derail your look, plus it’s a pain to correct when you’re halfway through your routine!

4. Overlining Lips

Kaboompics.com

I love a good lip liner, especially if it mirrors my favorite ‘90s makeup look. But, there’s such a thing as overdoing it. The key to lining your lips is following the natural flow of them. Going out of your way to draw above and under your lips’ lines comes off as comical and exaggerated. If anything, use a lip plumping gloss to help your lips look fuller.

5. Overtweezing Your Eyebrows

Getty Images

I don’t even have the words for this outdated makeup look besides wanting to say “no” 20 times in a row. But, I’ll bite and say why this shouldn’t be on your 2025 beauty moodboard.

Some people naturally have thinner eyebrows which is A-okay! However, purposely tweezing your eyebrows to smithereens is cringey. If you truly want to wear this look, here’s what you can do instead of tweezing:

  • Create a faux bleached look by applying a skin tone colored setting powder all over your brows.
  • Once they’ve ‘disappeared,’ take an eyebrow pencil or eyeliner to draw a thin line over them.

I’m…wondering what the ramifications of telling you how to do this will be, but only use go for this look if it’s a part of a themed party…like Halloween.

6. Exaggerated Highlighter On Cheeks

Milad Farhani

The shimmery look is in since it’s winter, but please don’t make it look like you dipped your cheeks into a vat of glitter. You can lightly dust highlighter onto your cheeks for a more natural glow that flows with the rest of your look. Otherwise you’ll look like a walking disco ball which could be the opposite of what you were going for.

7. Heavy Contour Or Bronzer

Laura Garcia

I know the ‘sculpted’ look is popular, but too much contour or bronzer can overpower the rest of your makeup and face. While it’s not impossible to fix if you do it by mistake, using the wrong shade of contour or bronzer may still peep through no matter how much you try to buff it out.

When in doubt, be gentle with your contour or bronzer application!

8. Incredibly Matte Makeup

Nataliia Yatsiuk

Matte makeup that didn’t budge was the ‘It Girl’ look for oily and combination skin girls! We thought it was the answer to our skin’s incessant need to hydrate our faces instead of actually using skincare products that focused on combatting that issue (psst…Vitamin C serums help!).

But now’s the time to break up with this look for good for one reason: dewy skin looks healthier.

While we have you here, learn about the outdated shoe trends you shouldn't be wearing in 2025 either.

As much as I love the wholesome parts of the holidays (like decorating Christmas cookies and opening gifts in the morning), one of my absolute favorite parts about the end of the year is ringing in a new one. 2025 is on its way, baby, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already scheming up a New Year's party plan. The key to a good time is definitely having a great outfit – and these 12 Abercrombie & Fitch party dresses are actually perfect for the occasion. I’m talkin’ sequins, mesh, and even leopard print.

Get ready to stand out this season in these drop-dead gorgeous Abercrombie & Fitch party dresses!

Abercrombie & Fitch

High-Neck Satin Sculpt Midi Dress

While the front of this sleek midi is more modest, the back features an open design that lets you show some more skin. It's definitely on the elegant side, so I'd advise wearing it to a fancy cocktail hour or more low-key NYE party this year.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Polka dots always feel super energetic to me, so if you want to be the one to get the party started, this is the dress for you! Plus, it'll make for some super cute Instagram pics. The design includes some built-in shorts, so coverage won't be an issue throughout the night.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Oh, this one is perfect. The tiny rhinestone embellishments will certainly have heads tuning your way.
