Making decisions feels like a full time job when you’re in the thick of wedding planning. Every day, ten new questions pop up and another list emerges. And then on top of everything, there IS a budget to keep in mind! It's so difficult to decide where to make cuts on the big day, but we’re luckily here to help guide you through it all. Should you splurge on it, figure out how to save on it, or skip it entirely? Let’s take a look!

Number one is a no-brainer. You want to prioritize photography in the top tier of your budget. Get to know your photographer before you sign any contracts and make sure that you feel confident they match the style that you’re looking for. You’ll look back on these photos for the rest of your life and they should be as close to perfect as possible!

Wedding invitations are so exciting to design and prepare, but they can be wildly expensive depending on what you’re looking for. If you’re worried about invitations taking up a large chunk of budget, you have options. Instead of bulk ordering the most extravagant invitation suites, order a handful to use in day-of detail photos and for your closest family and friends, and then order some slightly less detailed for the rest of your guests.

We all LOVE a good complex cocktail, but on a night that your bartenders will inevitably be slammed, avoid over-complicating any signature drinks with too many involved ingredients. This will hold up the line, and your guests will spend more time waiting for drinks than celebrating!

This often gets forgotten until the last minute, but you and your bridal team will spend a full day in this space. You want it to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Consider ordering catering to span over breakfast and lunch so you can keep everyone from getting antsy or hungry. A mimosa or spritz bar is another great touch to add to the bridal suite, but be sure you and your party don’t drink too much before your trip down the aisle so you don’t actually trip…down the aisle.

If you’re looking for an area to save in your budget, go with a DJ versus a full band! DJs are incredible with the crowd, and they work hard to get to know your music style and the way you want your party to feel. This expands your musical potential, too, so you don’t have to worry about a band’s genre limitations.

Programs are incredibly cute, but most people won’t pay much attention to them. And let’s be real…they get thrown away so quickly. Take what you would spend on programs and reallocate that into your signage budget to commission custom calligraphy pieces.

While many may say you should save on wedding florals, arrangements really will change the look of your event drastically. Your photos will burst with color and texture, and a statement piece in the reception space will wow your attendees, leaving them talking about it all night.

Whether you’re a foodie or not, no matter how much work you put into crafting your menu, an abundance of things can go wrong with your catering. It will definitely relieve you of an enormous amount of stress to have a wedding planner and their team taking care of all the little details before, or at least you and your loved ones on the day of. This luckily leaves you with one job: get married!

Costly Transportation — Save

One last save to finish us off: transportation! Transportation can add up REALLY quickly, but there are some super fun ways to move your guests around. For those of you with high guest counts, renting a school bus is a unique option to move more people with less vehicles and less trips! Your family and friends will love flashing back to their school days and choosing seat partners. Otherwise, people can easily call an Uber!

Afterwards, she wore a tiered sheer dress, the quickly changed into a fun, mini dress for the after party!

The two looked as in love as ever at their lavish ceremony, while none other than "Papa" Matthew Modine, Millie's Stranger Things co-star, officiated the ceremony! The pictures, posted by the couple, showed the stunning countryside of Italy that looked straight out of a movie! Jake posted the photos with the caption, "forever and always, your husband." Could they BE any cuter?!

Yes, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are married! Jon Bon Jovi confirmed that the two had tied the knot on an episode of BBC's The One Show. "They're great," says Jon. "They're absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be. It's true."

And thanks to The Sun, we know that Jon's wife Dorothea Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown's parents were also reportedly in attendance. While Millie has joked that her Stranger Things costar Matthew Modine (who plays Papa on the show) would officiate the ceremony, there's no word on whether any of her friends were at the wedding.

But The Sun also reports that the couple is having a larger ceremony later this year — now THAT'S a party I want to see! "Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend," a source says. “They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork. It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”

"Basically, Jake and I bonded over diving," she says. "He was like, 'Mill, you've got to be up at 8 AM, we're going on a dive'...So we go under and we're many meters down, and he gives me a shell and I turn it over and it's a ring."

When Oldish's podcast co-host Randy Spelling asked how they stay out of the public — and how intentional they have to be to keep a low profile — Freddie said it's "by choice," and that "you can control it to a certain degree."

"I don't know how deliberate [others] are in trying to avoid that BS," he said on the podcast. "I know how easy it's been for us because I don't go anywhere. I don't go to parties. People don't see Sarah and I out and about at the popular places. We have our restaurants that we like, and they're not super trendy in places where paparazzi hang out. So we're good at avoiding it."

One of the many difficult things about having a COVID wedding was that I didn't get to fully enjoy being engaged. The 'Gilmore Girls' Creators Are Packing On The Drama In First 'Étoile' Leak

If Gilmore Girls andThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel have shown me anything, it's that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino always has an incredible story up her sleeve. Her new show Étoile, which is coming to Prime Video, promises to be a beautiful and sophisticated look at the world of dance, and if the fact that it's from Amy wasn't enough reason to watch it, it's also Prime's first new show to get a two-season order! Here's everything we know about the series.

Following our beloved Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Dan and Amy Sherman-Palladino's next series is Étoile, which is set at two world-famous ballet companies in New York City and Paris. When both companies run into some trouble, the decide to swap their most talented stars in a last-ditch effort to save themselves.

And based on the first set leaks from New York City, it looks like Étoile will definitely be packing on the drama. This short clip shows Luke Kirby standing outside Lincoln Center in a serious conversation (probably about the fate of his ballet company, TBH).

"Well, guess that plan for early retirement will have to wait," Dan and Amy said in a joint statement (via The Hollywood Reporter). "Instead, we’ve decided to embark on an international journey with an unbelievable group of players and the most talented ballet dancers in the world. We will sleep when we’re dead."

But this isn't the first time ASP has forayed into the world of ballet! Her ABC Family series Bunheads (which premiered on June 11, 2012) follows Michelle (Sutton Foster) who moves to her hometown of Paradise and starts working at her mother-in-law's dance studio The Paradise Dance Academy. The best part is that the role of Michelle's mother-in-law is played by Emily Gilmore herself, Kelly Bishop!

When does Étoile premiere?

We don't have an official release date yet, but considering THR recently revealed the show will finish filming soon, we're hoping to see Étoile in 2025. Just like Gilmore Girls is the ultimate fall rewatch, maybe Étoile will be the ultimate winter rewatch!

So far, we know that Étoile will star Luke Kirby, Gideon Glick, Camille Cottin, Simon Callow, Lou de Laâge, and David Alvarez. Yanic Truesdale, who played our favorite Gilmore Girls concierge Michel, has also joined the series as a recurring character! I'm so excited to see Yanic working with Amy Sherman-Palladino again — it's like a Gilmore Girls reunion!

What does Étoile mean?

Étoile translates to "star," and there are so many different connections here! We have the ballet stars themselves, but you also wish upon a star and reach for the stars when you're working towards a dream. If you ask me, Étoile is the perfect name for this series.

How many episodes does Étoile have?

The first season of Étoile will have eight episodes total, but considering Prime Video ordered two seasons, we'll definitely be getting more episodes.

From a classic Peppermint Mocha to the beloved Caramel Brûlée Latte, the recent menu rumors say a new Refresher flavor, 6 unique cold foams, and 4 new bakery items are on the way as the holidays draw near – including many items we predicted! The speculated lineup is honestly wild. Starbucks teased that the holiday menu will hit stores on November 7.

We're especially sad to see the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha not included, though the official menu lineup has yet to be released!

When is Starbucks Red Cup Day 2024?

Though there's no official word out about Red Cup Day for 2024, our best guess – based on the Red Cup Days of years past – is it'll return mid-November. In 2023, Red Cup Day fell on November 16. In 2022, the coffee chain held the event on November 17. Both dates landed on the third Thursday of November, so we predict it to hit on November 21 for 2024. Red Cup Day is when Starbucks customers can get a free reusable red cup when they order a seasonal drink off the holiday menu.
