The White Lotus season 3 totally took over the internet during its run, as did Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) — even before we learned she didn't make it out of the season finale alive. While the Sex Education actress, whose teeth have been the topic of online chatter (yes, you read that right), admitted it's been cool to see the reaction to her natural teeth, and that refusing veneers makes her feel "a bit rebellious," fans think a recent episode of SNL took the commentary too far — and Aimee agrees.

Here's what Aimee Lou Wood had to say about the SNLWhite Lotus sketch including a joke about her teeth.

Aimee Lou Wood says SNL making fun her teeth was "cheap."

SNL spoofed White Lotus with a sketch called "The White POTUS," replacing the Ratliffs with Donald Trump and Melania Trump, and Walton Goggins' character Rick with RFK Jr. However, Sarah Sherman did portray Chelsea from HBO's hit show in the "sharp and funny skit until it suddenly took a screeching turn into 1970’s misogyny," as one viewer said.

And Aimee admitted in her Instagram stories that “I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny xo.”

“Such a shame [because] I had a great time watching it a couple weeks ago,” she continued (via THR). “Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about — but there must be a [more clever], more nuanced, less cheap way?”

The "cheap" sketch includes Sarah Sherman saying a couple lines like "Fluoride, what’s that? Oh look, a monkey!”

“I am not thin skinned,” Aimee said. However, “the joke was about fluoride. I have big gap teeth not bad teeth."

“At least get the accent right, seriously," she said. "I respect accuracy, even if it’s mean." (The actress later revealed SNL has since apologized).

And she doubts she'd have to talk about her appearance so much if she was a man.

All in all, it's safe to say the conversations surrounding Aimee Lou Wood's teeth are getting excessive.

“It makes me really happy that it’s symbolizing rebellion and freedom, but there’s a limit,” she said in an interview with GQ. “The whole conversation is just about my teeth, and it makes me a bit sad because I’m not getting to talk about my work...I don’t know if it was a man would we be talking about it this much?”

Celebrity designer Francesca Grace is my latest design crush. Her vintage-eclectic aesthetic blends cottagecore charm with maximalist flair and a hint of European vintage glamour — and I swoon every time. Most recently, she staged a stunning four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Palm Springs, drawing bold inspiration from the raw beauty of the desert landscape.

“My approach was to harmonize the home's contemporary architecture with eclectic, artful interiors," says Francesca. That she achieved, creating a space that feels both curated and soulful. With vibrant color, playful patterns, and richly textured materials, she infused the space with warmth and character and created a look that feels both timeless and refreshingly modern.

Here are 8 design ideas I'm loving from this Palm Springs home.

William Myers

Huge glass walls throughout the house blur the line between indoors and out, making the whole place feel super connected to nature. It’s a fresh take on desert living — grounded in its surroundings and full of personality.

1. Lean Into Cozy Seating

William Myers

It’s the kind of place that invites you to sink in, unwind, and soak up the desert calm. While Francesca paid homage to the spirit of Palm Springs, she intentionally steered away from the typical mid-century vibe, bringing something fresh and unexpected instead. “Drawing from my travels in France and Italy, I incorporated hues that evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, ensuring the interiors resonate with the desert landscape while maintaining a timeless appeal," says Francesca.

William Myers

The moment you step inside, it’s a stunning visual experience. Desert views are perfectly framed, while Francesca’s thoughtful use of color and sculptural furniture mirrors the rugged landscape and captures the magic of the desert light.

William Myers

Here’s a peek at those spectacular indoor-outdoor views that give the home a serene, spa-like feel — and turn every window into a work of art.

2. Use An Earthy Palette

William Myers

The color scheme was influenced by the natural surroundings of Palm Springs and Francesca's affinity for earthy, rich tones. And that velvet platform bed? The curved edges make it feel extra inviting—so much softer and cozier than sharp lines.

3. Maximize Views

William Myers

This dreamy bathroom is beyond beautiful thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that invite the desert in and an elegant design. "Floor-to-ceiling windows were left unadorned or dressed with minimal treatments to frame the natural beauty without obstruction," says Francesca.

William Myers

Even the walk-in closet comes with a picture-perfect view of the desert — because why not?

4. Embrace Natural Stone

William Myers

A bold marble sink adds just the right amount of edge to this neutral bathroom, keeping the design layered, luxe, and anything but boring.

5. Blend Textures

William Myers

Francesca sourced a boulder from the surrounding land and transformed it into a custom coffee table, merging the connection between indoors and outdoors.

Texture is my love language," says Francesca. "It’s how I bring emotion into a space without shouting. For this home, I layered everything: marble, smooth leather, raw woods with polished stone, sheer linen next to rich velvet. The palette might be neutral, but the materials are doing all the talking. That contrast keeps the eye engaged and creates a sense of quiet luxury that doesn’t try too hard," she adds.

William Myers

That marble fireplace is also a work of art. The stunning desert landscape significantly influenced the layout and styling choices. “I positioned seating areas to maximize views of the outdoors, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

William Myers

The kitchen acts as a breezy bridge between the entry and the back of the house, creating a clean, open space that balances all the surrounding coziness.

William Myers

Here’s the view from the dining area — and I’m obsessed with the textured pendant lights. They bring a soft, organic touch that beautifully balances the kitchen’s harder lines.

6. Mix In Vintage Pieces

William Myers

Francesca mixed in a few vintage finds and unexpected accents to keep things fresh and dynamic, but her LA shop Somme really set the tone. There’s something really special about designing pieces that already have a story and a soul behind them—and being able to place them in a home like this just adds another layer of intention. I wanted the furnishings to feel elevated but livable, with just the right amount of edge," says Francesca.

7. Go Bold With Art

William Myers

For this home, Francesca worked closely with Creative Art Partners (CAP) to curate the perfect art collection that she says "felt intentional, emotional, and deeply tied to the spirit of the space."

William Myers

“Our goal was to create a narrative through the art — each piece had to serve a purpose, whether it added a punch of color, an unexpected texture, or a provocative element that brought energy to a room. That said, because this is a staged home, we were thoughtful about how far we pushed certain pieces. There’s a fine line between bold and polarizing, so we curated selections that had impact without alienating potential buyers. CAP was an amazing partner in helping us strike that balance and tell a cohesive story throughout the home,” she said.

8. Balance A Cozy Minimalism

William Myers

Striking the right balance between cozy and clean called for thoughtful layering and intentional decor choices. It’s all about avoiding clutter without letting the space feel cold or sterile.

William Myers

"I focus on incorporating plush textiles, ambient lighting, and personal artifacts to add warmth, while maintaining an uncluttered environment by curating pieces that serve both functional and aesthetic purposes. This philosophy ensures the space feels inviting without visual overload," she says.

William Myers

Here's the dreamy home in the middle of the desert, stunning view inside and out.

Here's how the home is lit at dusk, simply beautiful.

I've been anxiously awaiting news on The Last of Us season 2 release date ever since that crazy season 1 finale in March of 2023. ICYMI, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) have returned to Jackson but unfortunately, all's not well that ends well, because Joel is hiding a huge secret — and it's totally shaken Ellie's trust in him. I love this reluctant duo so much and the premiere has already proven The Last of Us is one of the best shows of 2025. Here's what you need to know about streaming the rest of the episodes.

Here's everything we know about The Last of Us season 2 episode guide & breakdown of episode 1, "Future Days."

What happened in The Last of Us season 2 premiere?

Liane Hentscher/HBO

The first episode of The Last of Us season 2, "Future Days," opens five years after the season 1 ending. Joel & Ellie have created lives for themselves in Jackson but their relationship is clearly fractured (without a doubt stemming from the lie he told about the Fireflies not needing her for a cure). Joel wants to keep Ellie safe, while she won't have anything to do with him. She's the same live wire as always, with the added freedom of a 19-year-old, which means that now, her reckless decisions include leaving her patrol behind to seek out infected in abandoned grocery stores — and then having to report to Tommy and Maria.

Ellie's aunt and uncle are in a new chapter themselves as parents of a 5-year-old. In addition to caring for their own family, Maria's struggling to ensure Jackson can house anyone who needs them — which is bound to include Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) and her crew, who we learn are the survivors of Joel's season 1 Firefly hospital massacre...and who want to kill him "very slowly." The final moments of "Future Days" see Abby and the rest of the group finally near Jackson — and Abby give the tiniest knowing smile as she gets closer to enacting her revenge.

Liane Hentscher/HBO

The Last of Us season 2 immediately throws the viewer back into the action, and doesn't miss a beat (and not just because it includes a couple seconds after season 1 ends). "Future Days" once again proves that relationships are the heart of this show, and every single dynamic is just as good as the last: Tommy and Ellie, Dina and Joel, Jesse and Ellie, Abby and Owen.

One dynamic we see from the very beginning is Ellie and Dina who are friends-but-maybe-more. That is, until a town dance finally reveals their feelings for each other. They kiss on the dance floor, but when they're interrupted by a man who calls them horrible names, Joel pushes him to the floor, prompting Ellie to yell at him in front of the whole town. But despite the fact the dialogue is a memorable part of the game, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey's facial expressions steal the show, and these small interactions between the characters are what sets the show apart.

Bella Ramsey is once again untouchable as Ellie, and their jump from playing a 14-year-old to a 19-year-old is so striking, I couldn't help but forget five years didn't pass in real life. The same can be said for Pedro Pascal, whose Joel carries himself so differently from season 1 after spending five years in a safe space surrounded by people he loves (as far as I'm concerned, his Emmy campaign starts now!!). I've watched Kaitlyn Dever since we were both in high school and her display of power, grief, and calculated anger makes her a new series standout — as does Isabela Merced's magnetic and infectious joy.

The Last of Us season 2 has always been emotional and gripping, but season 2 is already addictive.

Where can I watch The Last of Us season 2 episodes?

Liane Hentscher/HBO

The Last of Us season 2 premiered on HBO and Max April 13, 2025. There will be seven episodes total, and new episodes will air every Sunday at 9 PM ET. Here's the full episode schedule:

  • Season 2, Episode 1 “Future Days” aired April 13, 2025
  • Season 2, Episode 2 airs April 20, 2025
  • Season 2, Episode 3 airs April 27, 2025
  • Season 2, Episode 4 airs May 4, 2025
  • Season 2, Episode 5 airs May 11, 2025
  • Season 2, Episode 6 airs May 18, 2025
  • Season 2, Episode 7 airs May 25, 2025

Who's in The Last of Us season 2 cast?

Liane Hentscher/HBO

The Last of Us cast for season 2 includes:

  • Pedro Pascal as Joel
  • Bella Ramsey as Ellie
  • Gabriel Luna as Tommy
  • Rutina Wesley as Maria
  • Kaitlyn Dever as Abby
  • Isabela Merced as Dina
  • Young Mazino as Jesse
  • Ariela Barer as Mel
  • Tati Gabrielle as Nora
  • Spencer Lord as Owen
  • Danny Ramirez as Manny
  • Jeffrey Wright as Isaac
  • Catherine O’Hara as Gail

What is The Last of Us season 2 about?

Liane Hentscher/HBO

The Last of Us season 2 was renewed in January of 2023 after the pilot aired. The game sequel opens five years after the events of the first game, and Joel and Ellie's relationship has splintered because of Joel's secret: his promise that Ellie's immunity couldn't be used for a cure is actually a lie — and he murdered an entire hospital of Firefly rebels to save her life.

When Ellie finds out Joel lied to her — and when a certain someone finds out Joel's responsible for the massacre — their worlds implode. Bella Ramsey told Vanity Fair "it’s really a story about revenge and a continuation from the first season about the dangers of unconditional love."

Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal teased to Deadline that The Last of Us team “are always going to find ways to build on the incredible source material that they have, and surprise us with how they can use that material in a different format like a television show."

'The Last of Us' season 2 trailer teases lots of terror.

Liane Hentscher/HBO

We've already gotten our first look at Kaitlyn Dever's Abby (a character fans of the game love to hate), but The Last of Us season 2 trailer is the first time we gotten to hear her — or see her Firefly pendant. We also caught a glimpse of Ellie and Dina (Isabela Merced) dancing during an iconic game scene and Tommy (Gabriel Luna) helping defend Jackson from the infected.

While season 1 was full of earthy tones and tons of light vs. dark imagery (as is the beginning of the season 2 premiere), The Last of Us season 2 is already showing off a much more aggressive color palette with blacks and reds that underscore just how explosive things are this season (and judging by the flares, I mean that quite literally).

Check back here for the latest The Last of Us season 2 release date news! And read up on the other most-anticipated TV shows coming in 2025.
