After Their New York Weekend, Will Taylor And Travis Make Their Red Carpet Debut At The VMAs?

taylor swift travis kelce vmas

We knew from the moment Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce partied at a Christmas bar that they were meant for each other. The celebrity couple has gone on Bahamas vacationsand spent time in Vegas, and Travis even showed up onstage at the Eras Tour! The more time they spend together, the more obvious it is that they are in L-O-V-E. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spent the weekend together celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs' win against the Baltimore Ravens and watching the U.S. Open, and fans are hoping they'll make their red carpet debut at the MTV video music awards tonight. See the adorable pics from the weekend below!

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Fun-Filled Fall Weekend

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started the weekend early with the Baltimore Ravens vs. KC Chiefs game on September 5. The global popstar showed up to support her beau in a denim corset & shorts set paired with red lipstick and thigh-high red boots (the latter of which might just be a Reputation (TV) Easter egg).

One X user tweeted, "The second season of NFL (Taylor’s Version) dropped tonight and I’m so happy." We couldn't agree more. Bring on the 'fits, Taylor!!

David Eulitt/Getty Images

Taylor definitely got into the spirit of the game — which is exactly how we respond to every single Eras Tourvideo.

The next night, Taylor and Travis had a dinner date at Brooklyn pizza join Lucali. Travis paired a cream sweater vest, striped pants, and a baseball cap. Taylor looked amazing as ever in a black bandeau and sheer bodysuit, shorts, and oversized blazer. If you weren't convinced that your fall wardrobe needs knee high boots, this look will do the job.

September 7 saw Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce arrive at Electric Lady Studios for model and singer Karen Elson wedding to Electric Lady Studios co-owner Lee Foster. The couple looked stunning in contrasting shades of cream and black, although it does have us wondering how close to white is too close when it comes to wedding guest dresses?

Taylor and Travis spent Sunday September 8 at the US Open with Patrick & Brittany Mahomes. Taylor definitely captured the last magic of summer with a red and white gingham dress and black sunnies, while Travis wore a Gucci polo shirt, sweater, and bucket hat.

The couple got cozy, sipped their drinks, and watched some football on the DL.

And the couple wrapped up their fun-filled weekend with a New York City date night, complete with a gorgeous Gucci mini dress.

Will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce be at the 2024 VMAs?

Taylor Swift/UMG/Youtube

We have all our fingers and toes crossed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce finally make their red carpet debut at the 2024 MTV VMAs September 11. Considering they've been in New York all weekend, and Travis doesn't play until Sunday September 15, it is definitely possible for these stars to make it on the red carpet.

Taylor Swift has 12 nominations for the VMAs this year for her song "Fortnight," as well as the VMAs Most Iconic Performance for "You Belong With Me," Artist of the Year, and Best Pop, meaning it's more than likely she'll be at the event. Hopefully Travis will be with her!

Robert Pattinson fans are going to love his new movie. Not only does the Twilight star take the lead in this new campy, sci-fi thriller, but there are so many versions of him. Because in this world, Robert's Mickey is an Expendable, which means when his boss sends him on a dangerous mission that costs him his life, they're able to just print another version of him...as many times as they need. A world where someone can literally be labeled expendable is not ideal, but a world with endless Robert Pattinsons? Sign me up. Watch the new Mickey 17 trailer and check out everything else you need to know about the movie!

What is Mickey 17 about?

Mickey 17 Plot

Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) signs up to be an Expendable — which basically means he gets to die, for a living. Sent on countless life-threatening (or rather, life-ending) missions in a quest to colonize the ice world of Niflheim, Mickey dies and is cloned over and over. But when two Mickeys end up surviving at the same time, everything is thrown into chaos. Mickey 17 comes from Parasite writer & director Bong Joon Ho.

"I've been the biggest fan of Bong for many, many years; he's my hero," Robert Pattinson said at 2024's CinemaCon (via Entertainment Weekly). "I got sent the script; I was told, 'You're gonna love the script, but the part is impossible.' That was very, very exciting to me. I thought it was the most unusual, bizarre, funny script."

"Mickey 17 is someone who has the lowest expectations of his life, and yet the world keeps pushing those expectations, to the point where he has a job that tortures him every day," he continues. "And then 18 comes along, and he's got frontal lobe damage and no self-control, libido out of control...It's like playing an evil brother or twin."

When does Mickey 17 come out?

Mickey 17 Release Date

Mickey 17 will hit theaters January 31, 2025. There are so many amazing New 2025 Movies, and I can't wait to see every single one.

Who's starring in Mickey 17?

Mickey 17 Cast

In addition to Robert Pattinson (and Robert Pattinson and Robert Pattinson), the cast of Mickey 17 stars Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.

The day after Hacks season 3 premiered its finale, the series was renewed for a fourth season. That's how you know a TV show's good! The series just nabbed three Emmys during the September 15 awards show, including Best Comedy Series and Best Lead Actress for Jean Smart. And it's no surprise: the junior season showed off Jean's acting chops when her character Deborah and Hannah Einbinder's Ava got into a major, life-altering fight that included backstabbing, betrayal, and blackmail (prestige TV's favorite 'B's).

But don't worry, Lucia Aniello, one of the show's creators, promises Hacks season 4 will pick right up where the finale left off. “I think the tease that I can give legally is that we pick up 20 minutes or so after where we left off,” she said after the Emmys win (via The Wrap). “The tension is still high, and there’s still a lot of fallout to explore.”

Here's everything you need to know about Hacks season 4, including when you can stream it (and where to stream the first three seasons, of course).

Is there a season 4 of Hacks coming?

Jake Giles Netter/Max

Yes, Hacks season 4 is on its way! Word of the renewal first broke on May 30 after the season 3 finale "Bulletproof" aired on the 29.

What is Hacks season 4 going to be about?

Jake Giles Netter/Max

Season 4 of Hacks will pick right where season 3 left off, with Ava and Deborah at odds. Deborah hired someone else to the head writer position of her show, and Ava threatens to tell the world one of Deborah's darkest secrets to get a spot on the team: that Deborah slept with network exec Bob Lipka before she got her own show.

Meanwhile, Deb's daughter DJ is about to have a baby, Jimmy gets Kayla to agree to stay in the business, while Marcus tells Damien that he's leaving for a new job.

When is Hacks season 4 coming out?

Jake Giles Netter/Max

We don't have an official Hacks season 4 release date yet, but we're expecting the show to hit Max in May of 2025. Seasons 1 and 2 premiered in May of 2021 and 2022, respectively, while season 3 was only delayed because of the writer's strike and Jean Smart's heart surgery.

Who's in the cast of Hacks?

Jake Giles Netter/Max

Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder star as Deborah and Ava in the cast of Hacks. Actors like Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, and Christopher Lloyd have all had guest roles, and Jean and Hannah hope season 4 has just as many iconic names, namely Carol Burnett and Elton John.

“I worked with her once very briefly, and I just adore her, and I just think she’s incredible,” Jean told Deadline of Carol Burnett, while Hannah agreed it "would be sick" to have Elton John guest star on the show.

Which season of Hacks is best?

Jake Giles Netter/Max

A lot of fans agree that Hacks season 3 is the best installment of the series yet. You can stream all three seasons on Max right now and see if you agree!

I set a color palette for myself for every season. Every. Single. One. It gives me a north star as to how I style what's in my current wardrobe, and what I need to keep an eye out for when shopping. Otherwise, I tend to veer off and shop things that I wouldn't normally wear, or that won't go with what I already own.

After looking at what's currently trending for fall, it appears my color palette is spot on for this season. So, if you're curious what colors are currently in style — and how you can where them — I've got you covered! From dresses to jackets to shoes, keep reading to see the best ways you can add color to your closet this season!

Burgundy

Dôen

Dôen Elowen Skirt

I can't stop thinking about this skirt for fall — it's my #1 must-have. I just know I can get so much wear out of it, which is the testament to any piece of clothing or purchase you're going to make. I could style it with a basic tee or tank, or style it with a cashmere cardigan and heels like above. The options are endless!

Madewell

Madewell Greta Flat

A great way to incorporate new hues into your wardrobe this fall — especially if you're a little nervous to use too much color — is through your shoes! That way you can keep a simple fit, with dress or a basic top, and add an extra pop of color to your shoes. That will create a fun mixture of classic pieces, with a fun statement for juxtaposition. Madewell also has the best new arrivals for the season, so definitely check it out ASAP!

Terracotta (or Tomato Cream)

Quince

Quince Vintage Wash Dress

Maxi dresses are a staple of mine, no matter what season it is. I will throw on a comfortable, airy maxi dress over sweatpants any day of the week. This dress is not only a maxi, but it's also in the perfect shade of tomato cream, which is the "It" color for fall 2024. I love the shape, color, and even the brand, Quince! I've bought a few pieces from them and ended up loving every single one!

Cuyana

Cuyana Classic Easy Tote

Cuyana makes fantastic bags, and it's no surprise to me that they would jump on the terracotta trend with their classic tote silhouette. This spacious bag can hold just about anything, and even has a little inside pocket for goodies like keys, lip gloss, and other essentials that can get lost in the bottom of your purse. I definitely recommend throwing this over your shoulder if you're eager to try out this color trend!

Nordstrom

Mille Suki Polka Dot Long Sleeve Cotton Blend Dress

Remember what I said about maxi dresses? Well, I couldn't help but add another one! This adorable polka dot number is a lovely take on the terracotta trend! The semi-puff sleeves paired with the keyhole cutout in the bust make for a chic sort of cottagecore silhouette that I just can't get enough of!

Bright Red

Ann Taylor

Ann Taylor Tuck Stitch Cardigan

I love Ann Taylor for all their classic staples, and this red sweater is no exception! It pulls together that vintage, old money style in a more modern way which is just the look I'm going for when styling this shade of red. The gold buttons are the perfect cherry on top to this stitch cardigan.

Lucky Brand

Lucky Brand Boot Leg Jean

These classic, red boot leg jeans are on sale for only $39! They're the perfect way to make a statement for fall, while being perfectly on trend. I love them, because they make getting dressed easy. Since they're a statement piece, themselves, all you have to do is add a button down and some simple shoes for a put-together look.

Dôen

Dôen Marianne Dress

This red dress from Dôen may seem like a statement piece, but it's actually a staple piece, too. This dress has carried me through so many different occasions, and so many different outfits because of how versatile it is. It can be styled up with heels or down with flats. A gem of a piece to add to your everyday wardrobe essentials!

Green (In Every Shade)

Madewell

Madewell Belted Trench Coat

This coat, while slightly khaki-colored rather than green, is a great example of incorporating green into your wardrobe in a mild way. Plus, styling it with chocolate brown like above is another amazing way to add a popular color theme for fall! I'm all about this shade of green!

Gap

Gap Cashsoft Sweater

This sweater is made with a plush-like cashmere that is almost identical to the soft, quintessential fall fabric. It's incredibly cozy, just like cashmere, but on a budget for those of us that are trying not to spend $100+ on a sweater. This cardigan is in this autumn season, because #BratSummer is extending into fall! Grab this green sweater for a fun pop of color!

White

Dôen

Dôen Leah Dress

No, folks, this color is not going anywhere post Labor Day! It's still around, and better than ever for the fall! In fact, millennials are describing it as "old money" to wear white this fall, so take notes ladies and gentleman. One of my favorite ways to wear white in autumn is with a cream shade — just like this absolutely gorgeous Dôen dress that's what dreams are made of (at least what mine are)! I can see it as my quintessential daily fall fit paired with either flats or tall boots!

Ann Taylor

Ann Taylor White Corduroy Pants

This entire 'fit is such a look — and something I will definitely wear this autumn, including these incredibly chic corduroy pants in white. The pants honestly take the outfit to a whole other level! I like the added texture that feels fall but still approachable, and could be worn year-round.

In a world where people are hopping onto strange food trends without hesitation, like making pizza with naan and customizing their morning coffees beyond repair, it’s amazing anyone could still be grossed out by food. Needless to say, we still have our limits… especially when it comes to those itty bitty white worms wiggling around in our pretty pink salmon fillets (HUH?). But before you swear off these healthy omega-3-rich fillets for good, let’s understand what these worms in salmon are, why they’re present, and why you don’t have to snub your fave lox at brunch this Sunday.

Monstruo Estudio

The white worms we occasionally spot in salmon fillets are parasites called roundworms. Though these worms are more noticeable in salmon due to the contrast in color, they can be found in many white fish too — they’re just camouflaged.

But we shouldn’t be freaking out.

Huy Phan / PEXELS

Despite the fact that our knee-jerk reaction is to panic and consider things contaminated, roundworms are as natural to fish as insects are to fruits and veggies. A teeny white worm in your salmon is the equivalent to an aphid, thrip, or mite in your recently harvested greens. Yes, it’s still yucky AF, but totally natural.

Valeria Boltneva / PEXELS

The good news is that roundworms don’t pose health risks when fish is thoroughly cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the FDA’s recommendation. When it comes to lightly preserved or raw fish — like sushi, sashimi, ceviche, or gravlax — as long as the product was commercially frozen to an internal temperature of -4 degrees Fahrenheit for at least seven days prior to preparation, parasites are terminated. (High five, fellow sushi lovers!)

Just be sure to avoid sketchy sushi joints; when you hear about people getting sick from eating at low-profile all-you-can-eat sushi spot, it’s because they aren’t handling their fish properly.

Lum3n / PEXELS

It is believed by some that wild-caught fish are more susceptible to roundworms due to the fact that they interact with an external ecosystem, while farmed fish are segregated from the wild and are fed pellets treated for parasites. This isn’t something *we* can confirm, but it’s food for thought nonetheless.

Mister Mister / PEXELS

If you really want to feast on fish but paranoia has now gotten the best of you, there is an at-home method you can try: fish candling. This method has you place a bright light beneath a fillet of fish so you can see the shadows of any worms present. You can then grab some tweezers and remove, then discard of the worms yourself. (This method obviously isn’t for the faint of heart.)

We say, thoroughly cook your fish and pretend worms never happened!

Would finding worms in your salmon deter you from eating it ever again? Let us know @BritandCo!
