A Wrinkle in Time’s New Motion Posters Bring the Stars (and the Magic!) to Life

We’ve been feeling the magic ever since A Wrinkle in Time debuted this gorgeous poster showing the movie’s incredible cast. And the teaser trailer got us even more excited to check out Ava DuVernay’s latest (and greatest?) creation. But the new set of moving posters that Disney just dropped might be the most magical yet.

In the posters, we see three of the film’s stars: Reese Witherspoon as Mrs. Whatsit, Oprah Winfrey as Mrs. Which, and (new mama) Mindy Kaling as Mrs. Who. Each has worlds of wonder at their fingertips, and as they reach toward you, their power ripples across the poster like water.

Disney shared the moving posters via the film’s Twitter account, captioning each, “Welcome to 2018, warriors.”

The film also debuted a brand new teaser for the new year, writing, “At midnight, we tesser to 2018 💫 #WrinkleInTime.” For those who don’t know what that means, be sure to watch the movie when it hits theaters on March 9, 2018, to find out. You won’t be disappointed!

And when Blake’s character Emily shows up at Stephanie’s (Anna Kendrick) book reading, Steph asks the question I’ve wondered all along: how is Emily out of jail? Of course, Emily ignores the question and instead asks Stephanie to be her maid of honor. WHAT.

Another Simple Favor, of course, sees the return of Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, but we'll also see Henry Golding, Bashir Salahuddin, Alex Newell, Andrew Rannells, Aparna Nancherla, and Kelly McCormack.

The main thread throughout the story is how Emily feels about Stephanie stealing her life…and despite the fact she doesn’t say she’s out for revenge, I totally think Stephanie needs to watch her back. We also finally get a really good look at Em's lush Italian wedding, and I'm not surprised that she's gone all out for the big day. If there's one thing Emily loves, it's a statement.

Another Simple Favor was briefly touched by Blake Lively’s It Ends With Us controversy when rumors claimed A Simple Favor 2 had been postponed.

"Despite glowing test screenings, Blake Lively’s refusal to promote—amid her messy legal battle with Justin Baldoni—and growing tensions with Anna Kendrick have derailed the sequel," X user Eric B tweeted on January 10. "Anna is furious. Paul Feig is disappointed. Hollywood is in shock. This isn’t just a movie—it’s an implosion."

"This is total BS. Sorry," Paul said in his retweet that same day. "The movie is finished and coming out soon. Don’t believe anything you read on social media these days." Whew! I can't wait to see Another Simple Favor when it hits Prime Video on May 1. Stay tuned for the latest updates!

Yes, 'Top Gun 3' Is Coming — & This Star Just Gave Us The Best Update

While Barbenheimer was its own cultural phenomenon, no movie has quite captured the summer of it all like Top Gun: Maverick. The 2022 film, released 36 years after the original, reintroduces Maverick (Tom Cruise) to audiences, and shows off a new class of recruits, including Miles Teller's Rooster, Danny Ramirez's Fanboy, Monica Barbaro's Phoenix, and Glen Powell's Hangman.

Hangman's a cocky and competitive graduate who constantly finds himself toe-to-toe with Rooster; he's pushy, determined, and willing to sacrifice a lot to get exactly what he wants. But despite the fact he's the archetype my sister refers to as "The Blond Narcissist," fans quickly fell for Hangman, thanks to Glen's charm.

Top Gun: Maverick made almost $1.5 billion worldwide, and fans have been waiting for a third installment ever since. And we just got an update on the new movie!

Here's everything we know about Top Gun 3, thanks to Glen Powell and Jay Ellis.

Is there going to be Top Gun 3?

Yes, we're getting a Top Gun 3! At the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, Jay Ellis revealed that the team wants the movie to be just right. “In all honesty, they’re still working on the script. They’re still working on the story. They’re wanting to get it right," he told Us Weekly. "[It’s also about] really making sure that this story is not done just to make a movie, but made because these characters are going to make people lean in."

“Tom is a stickler, and that really comes from him wanting to make sure the audience gets what they paid for and that they’re entertained,” he continued. "For those two hours, they can fully disappear in this theater, and the world around them doesn’t exist anymore, and [be] fully entertained. That’s where the focus is."

During a podcast recording at 92nd Street Y with Happy Sad Confused's Josh Horowitz, Glen Powell was asked which would come first: another installment of Daisy Edgar-Jones' Normal Peopleor Top Gun 3. “I mean, I have a date,” Glen shared about returning to the role of Hangman (via Variety). He does not, however, have more details to share.

Even though the movie hasn't started filming yet — and we don't even have a full official cast for the three-quel — the fact Top Gun 3 has a start date means it's farther along in pre-production than we realized! Now MY main question is what kind of shirtless sport this third installment will give us after both Top Gun's beach volleyball scene and Top Gun: Maverick's beach football scene were met with very positive reviews. Even if it's spikeball or pickleball, if the shirts are off, I'll be seated.

“There is going to be some fun stuff being announced soon," Glen told Variety in January 2024. Although at the time he didn't have a start date, he spoke with "[Joseph] Kosinski, [Tom] Cruise, and Jerry [Bruckheimer] all the time. There is stuff happening and it sounds very exciting."

When is Top Gun 3 coming out?

We don't have an official release date for Top Gun 3 yet, but I think it would be the perfect summer movie. Check back here for updates on the film!

The summery dessert in question is the all-new Blood Orange Mochi Ice Cream, and it’s so dreamy. Featuring dollops of blood orange-flavored ice cream cased in sweet mochi dough, it’s the kind of sweet treat you can easily eat with your hands… and keep eating over and over and over again.

The mochi ice cream is also crafted without any artificial colors or flavors, so you really get the full effect of the rich citrus. Blood oranges are also typically sweeter than regular oranges, making them perfect for putting into desserts.

TJ’s fan account @traderjoesobsessed shared the new Blood Orange Mochi Ice Cream with their followers, saying the treat is “tart and creamy” and also “not too sweet.” One commenter that got a taste noted that each ice cream piece is like “a creamsicle's more worldly cousin.” Another person compared the flavor to a Flintstone's Push-Up popsicle.

Well-rounded and nostalgic? Now I have to try this!

The Trader Joe’s Blood Orange Mochi Ice Cream can be found on shelves for $4.99. Each box comes with 6 mochi ice cream bites, and what’s even more exciting is the nutrition label says a single serving size is 6 pieces – AKA the entire box. Woah!

I’m definitely going to be grabbing several boxes to try – and hopefully manifest an early start to springtime!

Costco isn't just known for offering a shockingly wide array of products at unbeatable prices. The membership-only warehouse club is also a favorite shopping destination for all kinds of foods.

The infatuation among shoppers arguably began back in 1984. That year, the iconic hot dog and soda combo, which costs just $1.50, was first added to its food court menu, and it's been history ever since.

Today, people don't just frequent Costco; they're loyal fans of the store. So, when certain products disappear from shelves or the food court, outrage can ensue.

These are eight of the most popular foods that Costco has stopped selling, sparking a lot of upset.

1. Barbecue Beef Brisket Sandwich

The barbecue beef brisket sandwich is one past food court favorite that was sadly discontinued. It featured shredded brisket smothered in tangy barbecue sauce and topped with sweet coleslaw on a soft bun — similar to the sandwich pictured — for only $4.99.

While it was a hit with a decent amount of Costco members, there wasn't enough consistent demand to keep this sandwich on the menu. It also reportedly required more time and effort for employees to construct than other simpler options.

2. Kirkland American Cheese

You can no longer find Kirkland American cheese in Costco's deli section. This favorite for burgers and sandwiches was removed from stores in 2019, and it's unclear why.

However, some people speculate that the growing demand for other types of cheese, such as sharp cheddar and mozzarella, might've led Kirkland American cheese to become less of a priority. It seems like the above pictured American cheese slices are only available in Australia now.

3. Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels

Costco's cinnamon sugar pretzel was warm, chewy, and popular among shoppers looking for a sweet pick-me-up. But you can't find it at the food court anymore.

The exact reasons for this treat's removal haven't been confirmed, either. Nonetheless, it's thought that cinnamon sugar pretzels got the boot due to a combination of low sales and Costco's shift toward offering healthier menu options.

4. Kirkland Signature Turkey Burgers

Kirkland Signature turkey burgers were a convenient frozen food option packed with protein. In fact, each patty only had 200 calories yet carried 25 grams of protein.

Despite that, the turkey burgers were discontinued in 2018, and the reason remains a mystery. Some fans were so disappointed that they actually started a petition to get the product back in Costco freezers, but the store reportedly hasn't responded.

Instead, you can get a 32-pack of Rastelli’s Antibiotic-Free Turkey Craft Burgers (pictured above), if you're looking for a similar fix!

5. All American Chocolate Cake

With multiple layers of rich chocolate cake that could easily feed a group of 20, this product was a go-to for countless shoppers. However, it was surprisingly pulled from shelves in 2020, possibly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Costco's exact reasoning is still unclear. Thankfully, though, chocolate lovers can now find mini versions of this dessert being sold as cupcakes.

6. Kirkland Signature Light Beer

This product was Costco's attempt to enter the beer market. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark.

Kirkland Signature Light Beer received harsh criticism, with people online saying it "stinks" and has a "rubber smell." So, regardless of the fact that it was sold at a low price of around $0.50 per can, the beer was ultimately discontinued in 2018.

7. Polish Hot Dog

Despite Costco's Polish hot dog having a dedicated fanbase, it wasn't large enough to sustain this food court item. Low sales pushed it to be taken off the menu back in 2018.

In the wake of its removal, Costco shared a statement detailing how the Polish hot dog was discontinued to make room for healthier options, like the all-beef hot dog.

8. Chocolate-Dipped Ice Cream Bar

One final ghost of Costco's food court past is the chocolate-dipped ice cream bar. This dessert disappeared from the menu in 2013, but even a decade later, fans are still upset about it.

Sold for just $1.50, it featured vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and rolled in toasted almonds. It's believed that the rising costs of dairy and almonds pushed Costco to take it off the menu, and it's unclear if this product will ever make a comeback.
