Amy Schumer is a pro at shutting down haters. Last year, she perfectly responded to critics of her “Formation” parody and she’s even been known to directly address trolls whenever she shares swimsuit pics. Well, the brazen star just gave us more reason to love her when she clapped back at a body shamer who took on her Instyle cover.
The magazine posted a picture of Schumer’s (KNOCKOUT) May 2017 cover, to which one commenter wrote, “Come on now! You could not find anyone better for this cover? Not everyone should be in a swimsuit.” Of course, the commenter (who happens to be a swimwear designer herself) was subsequently dragged by Schumer fans.
The 35-year-old comedian responded by posting a series of badass bikini pics on her Instagram stories. In the snaps, Schumer wears different bikinis while hanging out on a boat, paddle boarding, jumping on the beach, and just generally living her best life.
She ended the slideshow with the message, “I feel great. No haters can f with my baseline.” Take that, trolls.
