While plenty of celebs had a good NYE (particularly Mel C. and Victoria Beckham, who reunited onstage in the Maldives last night and Lauren Conrad, who announced that she’s with child), perhaps no one had a bigger reason to celebrate than Amy Smart and husband Carter Oosterhouse of HGTV.
The Just Friends actress brought new life into the world yesterday, giving birth to a bouncing baby girl. She was all too happy to share the good news with the rest of us via Instagram, giving us our first glimpse at the babe and revealing her name all in one shot.
“It is with great gratitude and pleasure [that we welcome] our little girl Flora to the world,” she wrote of the pic. “What a blessed way to bring in 2017. Amen and thank you God for this special new life!”
Dad Carter was just as thrilled, sharing the same pic over on his own page.
“We love you more than you know and can’t wait to experience this journey,” he said.
Wow! What a cool way to ring in the New Year, indeed! Congratulations, you two three — and happy 2017!
