This Parisian-Inspired Collection Is the Loungewear of Our Dreams
Valentine’s Day may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still indulge in luxurious loungewear all weekend long. The need for stylish, comfortable sleepwear is something we can all relate to, and online retailer & Other Stories is the latest to embrace this rising trend. They recently launched an exclusive capsule collection of luxury loungewear aptly called Rêve Éveillé (“daydream” in French) that captures the mood and mystery of a Parisian boudoir with its rich fabrics and colors.
The campaign for the collection, which was inspired by dreams and the magic of sleep, features musician Patricia Manfield and her manager Renata Di Pace, as this power duo shows us how to transform sleepwear into day wear in the chicest of ways. “PJ-inspired pieces are easy to wear and the best way to look like you didn’t try too hard. The key is how you style it. Wear sleepwear with a pair of sneakers and accessorize with a hat and lots of jewelry,” says Manfield.
The 16-piece collection includes luxe silk and velvet pieces, as well as accessories like slippers, eye masks, and robes. While some pieces are meant only for a bedroom setting, such as the Reversible Lounge Sleeping Mask ($25), some like the Velvet Kaftan ($145) and the Lounge Jacquard Shirt ($85), which comes in a stunningly rich shade of yellow, are versatile enough to be worn outside too. We would be lying if we didn’t say that these Pom-Pom Slip-ons ($95) are hands-down the most stylish bedroom slippers we’ve ever seen.
