Watch As Anne Hathaway Destroys James Corden in an Epic Rap Battle
Anne Hathaway may be pretty busy slaying on the red carpet, promoting her new movie Alice Through the Looking Glass and juggling her gig as a new mommy, but luckily for us she took a few minutes to stop by The Late Late Show With James Corden last night. What could have been a simple pleasant chat turned into one epic rap battle with nasty slams and total YAAS, QUEEN moments. When Anne tosses her heels and throws off her hat, you know she’s ready to get serious.
While James tries to take Anne down by dissing her movie flops and lording Halle Berry’s Catwoman over Anne’s own, it’s a decent effort, no doubt. But it’s nothing, no, nothing compared to Anne’s epic lines. The actress, sporting a sleek black suit with white piping and her signature lob, nails him from the start, saying, “What do I do? I can’t make fun of you, James, because NO ONE HAS HEARD OF YOU.” Oooouch. “Now that I have a chance to finally speak, your rhymes are like your ratings, man, they’re incredibly weak.” Then, BOOM! She drops the mic. Now James knows what it’s like to be HATHASLAAAAYED!
