You’ll Be Bummed Apple Is NOT Announcing This at Their Fall Event
The rumors were right! Official invitations to Apple’s fall event have been issued and it will indeed be going down on Wednesday, September 9 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco (which means you can probably get your hands on the the 6S as soon as September 18).
The tech giant’s invitations have been sent out to the press, along with the cheeky tagline “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” As a result, there’s been lots of speculation that the new iPhone is going to feature some major voice activation updates.
Based off of the wavy colorful appearance of the invite and the copy, Apple seems to be highlighting Siri’s total makeover, which is an update indeed coming with the new iOS 9 update that is officially dropping in September. Some other rumors of what we can expect to see at the fall event include the brand spankin’ new iPhone 6S (possibly pretty in PINK and featuring Force Touch).
According to MacRumors, the new handset will possibly be sharing the stage with a majorly updated Apple TV. One product that will not be making it’s debut however, is the iPhone 6C, which, according to rumors, might be coming later and featuring a 3.5 inch screen. Supposedly, the iPhone 5 C will also be getting discontinued at that time :(
But don’t let the rumors bog you down. There’s still so much to look forward to. Yay for September 9!
