Are Ski in/Ski out Starbucks a Good Idea?
Hi, I'm Brit, the founder and CEO of Brit + Co. I'm a young mom of two, tech nerd and design-inclined lady who has a zillion hobbies and curious about... just about everything! My mission from the beginning has been to unlock women's creativity and courage to try new things so that they can find the path to their true passions.
Starbucks, America's favorite coffee chain, is now available at 8,000 feet. It's new mountaintop location in Squaw Valley, California (one of our favorite local resorts) is the first of its kind to offer ski bunnies a ski in/ski out latte experience.
As shown in the video above, you can literally ski up to the window to order your drink and ski off with it in hand. Just be sure to hold onto your poles at the same time.
"We look forward to serving our signature espresso and coffee beverages to the thousands of skiers and riders at Squaw Valley through our first-ever ski-in/ski-out Starbucks location," Doug Satzman, vice president of channel development-branded solutions for Starbucks, told OnTheSnow.com.
