‘Twilight’ Star Ashley Greene Is Married! Get the Details on Her Romantic Wedding
It’s been an amazing week for swoon-worthy celebrity weddings. First, Kaley Cuoco walked down the aisle in the ultimate equestrian-approved bash, and now, Ashley Greene is making our hearts flutter with her own unforgettable nuptials.
The Twilight star said “I do” to longtime beau Paul Khoury on Friday, July 6, in an intimate ceremony that took place — get this — in the middle of a grove of grand redwood trees right outside San Jose, California. According to Brides, the 31-year-old actress and her fiancé exchanged vows they wrote themselves in front of 120 family and friends, including Robert Pattinson, Brittany Snow, Lauren and Aaron Paul, and Evan and Ashlee Simpson-Ross. Greene wowed in a backless Katie May dress.
Later, after officially becoming Mrs. Khoury, she slipped into her show-stopping reception dress — a daring see-through creation covered in floral appliqués. The beach-perfect gown was the brainchild of Windi Williams-Stern, whom the newlywed dubbed a “magician.” She went on to gush, “I’ve worked with her for over a decade for anything I do on the red carpet. She created a masterpiece for me, and I can’t wait to dance the night away in it!”
In addition to plenty of dancing, the night also featured LOTS of touches from Mother Nature (including lush greenery on each table) and an impressive menu, complete with gluten-free options. As producer Tomik Mansoori revealed on Instagram, guests dined on kale caesar salad, a chicken platter with crispy chicken skin (!!), roasted Alaskan halibut, and more. Yum!
The pair, who got engaged back in December 2016, have quite the penchant for the romantic. When it came time for Khoury to pop the question, he whisked his sweetheart away to Bridal Veil Falls, New Zealand, and got down on one knee in what the actress dubbed “the most beautiful moment I could have ever hoped for.”
Congrats, you two!
