Celeb Beauty Confessions: Ayesha Curry Uses This Crazy Gadget for Amazing Skin

When I got the chance to sit down with Ayesha Curry (andddd her awesome makeup artist — check back for that post soon!) on Tuesday, I had to ask how she gets her glowing skin to ultimate skinspirational status. I regularly share my deepest, darkest beauty secrets in our beauty confessions series, and even *I* was totally shocked at the genius (but kinda crazy) skincare hack Ayesha revealed.

Ayesha Curry: wife (to Warriors champ Steph Curry, NBD), mom (to bb queens Riley and Ryan) and girl boss (her BBQ pop-up restaurant International Smoke JUST opened in SF) is obsessed AF with a towel steamer from Amazon. That’s right: The gorgeous gal turns to a device (like this FANTA SEA Portable Towel Steamer, $50) to keep her skin looking flawless with DIY mini-facials whenever she wants them. Who knew?!

What It Is: A portable, hot towel warmer is not only Ayesha’s secret to flawless skin, she also turns to this gadget when she needs an early morning pick-me-up or a relaxing, late night mini spa treatment. Oh, and yes, she really did get hers on Amazon!

How It Works: It’s pretty simple. “I put wet washcloths in there, turn it on and wait about 10 minutes for it to heat up,” Ayesha explained. “Then I infuse it with lavender. I put the warm cloths on my face like a little facial.”

Where You Can Find It: There are a ton of options when it comes to hot towel steamers, but Amazon is a great place to start.

Who Should Use It: If you’re a busy girl like Ayesha, these crazy devices could be a total gamechanger for you in terms of starting and ending your day with some well-deserved “me” time. “It’s the best thing ever. I put one on my face in the morning when I need to wake up and then again at night when I need to be put to sleep! It’s just relaxing,” she told me.
