“The Bachelor” Wants You to Binge-Watch Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s First Shot at Love
Fans of The Bachelor are gearing up to see Arie Luyendyk Jr. on his quest to find love on TV. And while plenty of viewers are eager to see the return of one of the reality series’ old-school stars, there are some who missed his first go-round and either don’t know who he is or need a reminder of his introduction to the cameras. For those people, the folks behind the scenes have just provided a way to relive the race car driver’s first shot at love.
Luyendyk made his rose ceremony debut during season eight of The Bachelorette back in 2012. The besotted suitor was ready to propose to Emily Maynard (now Emily Maynard Johnson, a married mother/stepmother of three), but she chose to give her final rose to Jef Holm. (They split just a few months after the finale aired.)
It was a rollercoaster season — which you can now relive. In honor of Luyendyk’s upcoming quest for love, ABC has resurfaced every season eight episode of The Bachelorette to get you caught up on his journey so far.

You can watch the night Maynard and Luyendyk got a private concert from Dolly Parton at Dollywood (episode/week 3), the always-iffy hometown visits (episode/week eight), the trip to Curacao with the three remaining bachelors (episode/week nine) — not to mention the Men Tell All special and drama-filled finale.
Be sure to watch every moment so you’re ready to see Arie Luyendyk Jr. search for love once again (hopefully with more success this time around) when season 22 of The Bachelor premieres in January 2018.
