The 10 Most Memorable Limo Entrances from The Bachelor's Season 23 Premiere
Season 23 of The Bachelor premiered Monday, January 7, and introduced us to the women who will be vying for Colton Underwood's heart over the next several weeks. With 30 contestants in the running on night one, it was a blur of sparkly dresses and awkward conversation, but these 10 ladies did their best to stand out from the pack — for better or worse. Alex B., 29: Alex B. was sick on night one, so she brought some Love Actually-style posters to introduce herself to Colton from a safe distance. "I'm actually sick," the cards read. "But I wouldn't miss this for the world." Colton was charmed — so much so that he risked getting sick to give her a hug anyway. (Photo via Rick Rowell)
Alex D., 23: Alex D.'s intro took at least twice as long as anyone else's, because she came in character as a very, very slow-moving sloth. "I heard you take things slowly," she said, stretching out each syllable as she traveled the (very short) distance from the car to Colton over what felt like several hours. (Seriously, we cannot emphasize how long this took. There was an actual commercial break in the middle of it.) Colton laughed along, but Alex D. didn't receive a rose at the end of the night, so it seems he wasn't that amused after all. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Bri, 24: Bri's limo entrance caused a stir even before the premiere aired, because ABC showed a preview of her introducing herself to Colton with an Australian accent — even though she's not actually Australian. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Caelynn, 23: Caelynn, Miss North Carolina for 2018, showed up wearing a pageant sash, which read "Miss North Carolina" on one side and "Miss Underwood" on the other. (Technically, if she married Colton and took his last name, she'd be Mrs. Underwood, but points for creativity anyway.) The sash also helped her to stand out once she and the rest of the otherwise similarly dressed women were inside the mansion. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Caitlin, 25: In one of many, many cringe-worthy references to Colton's virginity, Caitlin exited her limo with a red balloon meant to look like a cherry, which she promptly popped upon meeting the Bachelor. Colton initially thought (or maybe just hoped) it was supposed to be an apple, but no such luck. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Cassie, 23: Like many other women, speech pathologist Cassie was nervous to meet Colton — and she had the butterflies to prove it. It was a cute gimmick, even though she dumped the box of plastic butterflies on the ground, and Colton seemed genuinely delighted. He even picked up one of the butterflies after she left and snuck it into his coat pocket. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Catherine, 26: Knowing how much Colton loves dogs, Catherine brought her own pup, an adorable Pomeranian named Lucy, to "live" with the former athlete while she's on the show. Catherine didn't make the best impression on the rest of the women — or, judging by Twitter, Bachelor Nation — but Lucy is a keeper for sure. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Erin, 28: Erin, whose occupation is listed as "Cinderella" on ABC's website, went all in on the fairy-tale with a horse and carriage. She even left behind one of her heels when she walked into the mansion. Alas, Colton didn't give her a rose at the end of the night, so she's still looking for Prince Charming. Hannah G., 23: Hannah G., the recipient of the coveted first impression rose, brought a wrapped gift for the Bachelor — an empty box. "I got you your favorite brand of underwear," she told Colton, who cracked up when he got the joke. She later explained in a confessional: "Rumor has it that Colton doesn't wear underwear." We hadn't heard that rumor, but okay. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
Tracy, 31: Wardrobe stylist Tracy — who made headlines before the show for some old offensive tweets — rolled up to the mansion in a cop car, blaring sirens and all. She explained that she was the fashion police, assessed Colton's outfit, and then handed him a pair of handcuffs. For, um, later. (Photo via ABC/Rick Rowell)
