‘Bachelor Winter Games’ Winners Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt Have Split
Another Bachelor franchise couple has called it quits. Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt, who met on the recent Winter Games spinoff, have ended their relationship after a few months of dating.
Iaconetti confirmed the news to ET. She didn’t elaborate on the reason for the split just yet, but she did say that she and Wendt would address what happened, and what their future holds, on the iHeartRadio podcast she co-hosts with Ben Higgins, The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast.
Iaconetti and Wendt were declared the winners on the Winter Games finale last month. The spinoff resulted in a few couples, including Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy, and Clare Crawley and Benoit Beauséjour-Savard, who got engaged on the World Tells All finale special.
Both Wendt and Beauséjour-Savard appeared on The Bachelorette Canada in 2016, which Wendt won. (He ended his engagement to leading lady Jasmine Lorimer after five months.) Fan-favorite Iaconetti first appeared on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, and went on to appear on two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise.
Just days ago, both Iaconetti and Wendt shared loving social media updates about each other. Wendt sent Iaconetti a message for her 30th birthday on March 6, gushing that she was the “most driven, motivating, and supportive person I know,” and saying “she motivates me to be more.” And on Friday, Iaconetti posted a photo of the two of them, saying “the way [Kevin] wants to take care of his lady’s heart is so beautiful.”
