Spoiler Alert! Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s Winner Is…
Spoiler alert! After months of fans wondering who Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s fiancé might be, it came down to two men — Peter Kraus and Bryan Abasolo — in the August 7 season 13 finale. Though the wait was made even more excruciating by teases about secret dates with her new beau, we finally, FINALLY know who has been making Lindsay so giddy these past few months! And the winner is…
*MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*
…Bryan Abasolo!
The Miami-based chiropractor completely stole TheBachelorette‘s heart, and it was never more evident than when he stepped out of his final limo. “I just want to tell you that I love you and I’m in love with you and I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else,” Lindsay said.
“You are so easy and effortless to love, and I just want to love you for the rest of my life,” Abasolo replied before getting down on one knee, causing Lindsay to scream with glee and give a quick and enthusiastic “YES!”
Abasolo has maintained a cool lead throughout Lindsay’s journey, and for good reason: He was a front-runner right away, bagging the First Impression Rose by enchanting Lindsay with his smooth Spanish lines straight out of the limo, then immediately going in for their first kiss.
Though he didn’t get his first one-on-one date until week five, it seemed worth the wait, as the two rappelled from a 187-foot Olympic ski jump in Oslo, Norway (pausing, of course, to passionately kiss halfway down). From there, they shared a romantic dinner, during which Lindsay asked him why he was still single and he responded by saying he thought their story so far was a fairy tale and he was falling in love.

Luckily for him, she clearly felt the same, even going so far as to rent him a Bentley for a trip to the Breitling store, where she bought them expensive matching watches. “This is a forever gift,” Abasolo later said.
When Lindsay won over Abasolo’s protective mother, he felt comfortable enough to officially drop the L-word and tell Lindsay he loved her.
It was their time in Rioja, Spain, that sealed the deal, though: The two rode horses in a romantic setting before retiring to their Fantasy Suite and then spending a day floating over Rioja in a hot air balloon. It’s no wonder that Lindsay allowed Abasolo to get down on one knee and ask to be hers forever.
Congratulations, guys!
