JoJo Fletcher Celebrated Jordan Rodgers’ Birthday With the Sweetest Note
While other Bachelor couples, such as Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi, have already come and gone, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers seem to still be going strong. Since they got engaged on the season 12 finale of The Bachelorette last year, the couple’s bond has continued to blossom, with plenty of sweet displays of affection that prove just how smitten they are with each other. Fletcher’s latest heartfelt message for her beau is no exception.
The former NFL player turned 29 on Wednesday, and his fiancée had plenty of loving sentiments to share with her man (and the world). “Happy Birthday to this gem of a human — there are so many reasons why you deserve to be celebrated, not only today, but everyday!” she wrote alongside a pic of them together.
The 26-year-old went on to list some of the many reasons she adores Rodgers so very much, adding, “To name a few, thank you for always being my rock, for giving me a million laughs, for being a daily example of what it’s like to chase after dreams and never give up, for holding my hair back when I’ve had one too many rosés] (🤦♀️)…” (What a guy!)
The obviously enamored reality alum wasn’t done yet, though. She also thanked him “…for always dancing along side me when I embarrassingly try to, and of course, for loving me (& Jackie moon) with everything you have. So, without getting more mushy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!! @jrodgers11.”
Apparently, all that “mush” was just the icing on the cake, as Rodgers revealed that his bride-to-be went above and beyond (and behind his back in the best possible sense!) to help him celebrate his special day.
Sharing his own pic via Instagram, he wrote, “This amazing woman I get to call mine surprised me this weekend for my birthday. I am not easy to surprise, and somehow she managed to sneak my brother and two of my best friends into town without me knowing for a huge family and friend birthday dinner.” A+ for effort, indeed!
“I love her more than anything, she is the most thoughtful, loving, selfless person I know!” Rodgers gushed. “She continues to amaze me and I am blessed beyond belief to have her in my life. However bub….you set the bar pretty high for #30 next year 😬😉.”
They may be in no rush to get married — though wedding plans *have* started to crop up — but we have full faith that these two will reach the altar eventually and remain one of our favorite Bachelor Nation success stories.
