Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe Is Heading to Broadway
Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe is full of surprises, like when she revealed a fact that could have totally changed Bachelor history. This week, she shared another bit of unexpected news about her next job — on Broadway.
During the October 24 episode of her podcast, Off the Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe, the 32-year-old reality TV alum revealed that she will be making her big debut in a special seasonal show called Home for the Holidays, Live on Broadway.
“If you had asked me when I was little, like, ‘Imagine you were on Broadway,’ I’d be like, ‘Yeah, right,'” Bristowe (who’s still engaged to her Bachelorette match, Shawn Booth) explained. “I grew up dancing and singing and I just love everything about that.”
The show will run at the August Wilson Theatre (where the Mean Girls musical is set to open next year) from November 17 to December 30. The Bachelor Nation alum is set to host the show, which will feature stars from American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and YouTube. If you’re lucky enough to nab tickets, be sure to watch out for Candice Glover, Josh Kaufman, Bianca Ryan, and Peter and Evynne Hollens. Bristowe will also join the performers for a few of the musical numbers.
“It’s a big deal!” she exclaimed on her podcast. “I get to go do a show, every single night on Broadway… it’s a family holiday show, every night in New York!”

While in NYC, she’ll also record a live version of her podcast with special guests. And since Bachelor Nation stars seem to pop up all over the country to keep the publicity train chugging along, you never know who we might hear in the Big Apple. (Any guesses?)
Bristowe’s fiancé, who joined her on the podcast for her announcement, isn’t so keen on heading to the Big Apple, but he is happy for his love. Booth told his future wife, “That is very, very exciting. Cheers, babe. Proud of you.”
We’re sure he’ll be sitting front row center on opening night.
