Rachel Lindsay’s Final Rose Dress May Have Been Her Sexiest Yet
The finale of Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette aired last night, and what a show it was! There were tears, a heart-wrenchingly honest breakup, and of course, high-stakes fashion. No ordinary dress for the final rose would do, and Lindsay did NOT disappoint.
Lindsay, 32, has worn Bachelorette fave designer Randi Rham at least eight times this season (the atelier also created her premiere gown that weighed 30 freakin’ pounds!). For her final look, she turned to the New York-based designer one last time.
She chose the label’s Maxxy Gown to accept the proposal of *SPOILER ALERT* Bryan Abasolo. The silver-beaded couture dress boasted a modest neckline, a flowing train, and a sultry ultra high criss-cross slit. It was undoubtedly a showstopper (er, should we say, show-closer) against the beautiful backdrop of Rioja, Spain.
There was no word on exactly how much this bad boy weighed, but we’ve got a sneaking suspicion it was no lighter than her previous picks: Lindsay could be heard exclaiming, “This dress is heavy!” as Abasolo swept her off her feet (literally) in the show’s final moments.
Unfortunately, we didn’t see this exact piece up for grabs on the company’s site, but Rahm has previously said that if there is a dress the public has a strong reaction to, she’ll often offer a more affordable recreation of it in her next line. “We try to take the essence of it and make it at an affordable price point,” she told InStyle.
