‘The Bachelorette’ Just Revealed the 33 Men Who May Compete for Hannah Brown’s Love
One day after the end of Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and the announcement of former contestant Hannah Brown as the next Bachelorette, ABC released a first look at the potential contenders for the leading lady’s love on the upcoming season.
“For the first time ever, we are giving you an early look at the men who may be on #TheBachelorette,” the show’s official Facebook account posted late on Wednesday, March 13. “Leave a [rose emoji] for who would get your first impression rose.”
There were 33 men in all: Ben G., 30, from Charlotte, North Carolina; Brian B., 30, from Louisville, Kentucky; Cameron A., 30, from Austin, Texas; Chasen C., 27, from Longview, Washington; Connor J., 28, from Newport Beach, California; Connor S., 24, from Dallas, Texas; Daron B., 25, from Atlanta, Georgia; Devin H., 27, from Sherman Oaks, California; Dustin K., 30, from Chicago, Illinois; Dylan B., 24, from San Diego, California; Garrett P., 27, from Birmingham, Alabama; Grant E., 30, from San Clemente, California; Hunter J., 24, from Westchester, California; Jed W., 25, from Nashville, Tennessee; Joe B., 30, from Chicago, Illinois; Joe R., 27, from Staten Island, New York; Joey J., 33, from Bethesda, Maryland; John Paul J., 24, from New Carrolton, Maryland; Jonathan S., 27, from Los Angeles, California; Kevin F., 27, from Manteno, Illinois; Luke P., 24, from Gainesville, Georgia; Luke S., 29, from Washington, DC; Matt D., 31, from Winter Springs, Florida; Matt D., 26, from Los Gatos, California; Matt S., 23, from Newport Beach, California; Matteo V., 25, from Atlanta, Georgia; Mike J., 31, from San Antonio, Texas; Peter W., 27, from Westlake Village, California; Ryan S., 25, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Scott A., 28, from Chicago, Illinois; Thomas S., 27, from Southfield, Michigan; Tyler C., 26, from Jupiter, Florida; and Tyler G., 28, from Boca Raton, Florida.
Commenters were quick to leave not only first-impression rose emojis, but their first-impression comments on each of the men, several of whom earned comparisons to other well-known Bachelor Nation stars such as Dean Unglert, Nick Viall, and even host Chris Harrison.
Hannah Brown — AKA Hannah B. — was sent home by Underwood in week seven and confirmed as the new Bachelorette on the Tuesday, March 12, Bachelor finale special. During the finale, she got a chance to meet five of the upcoming contestants, including Luke P., Dustin, Cam, Connor, and Luke S. In the end, she awarded the first-ever pre-season rose to Cam, who impressed her with a personalized rap about love. Or something.
It’s worth noting that these are simply the men who may appear on the upcoming season — meaning there are probably more surprises in store before The Bachelorette returns in May.
