The Balmain + H&M Lookbook Is Everything Your Holiday Attire Needed and More
We’ve seen the fashion of this winter’s future and we’re thinking you might want to swap that annual ugly Christmas sweater party for something a little more glamourous. Why oh why would you ever do such a thing? Because this ultra glam H&M + Balmain collaboration is just begging to be worn to a holiday party.
The much-anticipated capsule collection is set to be released on November 5. While some of the photos were leaked earlier this week, they have now been officially released and oh man, was it worth the wait.
We first got a glimpse of what the line might look like during this year’s Billboard Music Awards when Kendall Jenner and Jordan Dunn rocked pieces from the collab on the red carpet. Sequined, embroidered and full of gold accents, the pieces all included that luxe detailing Balmain fans know and love.
In the lookbook you’ll find a hot pink holiday dress that demands attention (in a good way), many a beaded top and a fur coat that’s full of drama. It’s hard to pick just one standout piece but we’re guessing the hot pink midi dress and green mini dress are going to be two of the best sellers.
While the pieces are definitely a steal for an Olivier Rousteing (the creative director of Balmain) designed piece, they’re not exactly a steal by H&M standards. Starting at $18 and going as high as $699, the pieces cost a lot more than what you might usually spend at the fast fashion retailer. That being said we’re also getting the feeling this line is about to go down as one of the best fashion collabs ever. So if you’re debating a splurge just consider it an investment in fashion history.
