Be the King of Wakanda This Halloween by Dressing Up As Marvel’s Black Panther
If you’re a Marvel fan, you’re probably pumped for the upcoming Black Panther movie. We know — February feels far away, but it’ll be here before you know it. And in the meantime, we’re letting ourselves get in the spirit by dressing up as Black Panther this Halloween. Follow along for our incredibly easy costume tutorial below! Oh and T’Challa is an amazing superhuman who gets his powers from the heart-shaped herb, so you might want to give some basil a haircut and carry it around to keep up your acrobatic mastery :)
Materials and Tools:
- black bodysuit
- silver duct tape or fabric
- hot glue + gun
- Black Panther mask
- black poster board
- black tape (you can use electrical)
Using duct tape that is folded over onto itself (or you can get silver fabric), cut out the triangles and shapes on the waistline. Attach to the bodysuit using hot glue. To make the armbands, cut black poster board to fit around your forearms and then wrap them with black tape. Make the silver embellishments on the top of the arm bands with silver duct tape. Throw on your mask and a pair of shoes that complement your look! If you don’t have any, you can put your shoes on under the body suit.
That’s it! Have a MARVEL-ous Halloween!
