Ben Affleck’s National Best Friends Day Tribute to Matt Damon Is Throwback Perfection
Not only was yesterday official National Best Friends Day, but today is, of course, #ThrowbackThursday, making this heartwarming collage of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s bromance the perfect storm of cuuuuuuute. It also proves that the handsome BFFs caught onto the the adult cake smash trend way before the rest of us.
“This guy,” is all the caption reads, and really, it’s all it needs to read. The pictures show Matt pranking Ben by shoving his face into a birthday cake intended for Matt. But Ben can’t be mad at him — just look at the love in those eyes.
Ben and Matt were recently given the Guys of the Decade award at Spike TV’s Guy’s Choice Awards, and while the merits of the award seem questionable (Bromance Award of the Decade, perhaps?), we can’t help but love this friendship — one that’s literally given awards! May these two never stop loving each other.
