Forget Ice Cream — Ben & Jerry’s Now Sells Bags of Snackable Cookie Dough
We confess, we’ve had many a night where we’ve enjoyed a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Choc Chip Cookie Dough in one sitting – self-care is important, you guys – but we’re excited to learn the cult-fave ice cream brand has now launched snackable cookie dough!
Cookie Dough Chunks ($5), available chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough varieties, come packaged in 1/2 pound bags and are the same delicious dough you’ve seen in Ben & Jerry‘s pints of ice cream, but now you don’t have to pick through the ice cream to enjoy them. They are 100 percent safe to eat thanks to the use of heat-treated flour and pasteurized eggs. With eight servings per bag (the equivalent of one serving for us cookie dough fiends), these pouches can be stored in the freezer and unzipped when you want to indulge in a little gluttonous happiness. Heaven is real. But here’s where we have to get real with you…
Currently, these treats are only available in Vermont at the Waterbury Factory and the Burlington, VT scoop shop for a test run, though innovation manger Jody Eley hinted that won’t be for long. “Fans have been asking for ‘just the chunks’ for a while now,” she said in a press release. “We’re bringing cookie dough to our Vermont shops to start. If it does well, it may be available online and in other distribution channels later this year.” So do your good part dear citizens. Call the brand, call your grocer, email, DM on Insta. ALL THE THINGS. Let there be snackable dough across America!
