These States Are the Best and Worst for Your Road Trip
Sure, we love plane hopping as much as the next person, but nothing beats a summer road trip. It’s the best way to see incredible scenery and enjoy attractions that are off the beaten path. Whether you’re looking for a new state to explore this season or you’re just curious about how your state measures up, we’ve got all the details you need to know. We’re sharing Wallet Hub’s ranking of all 50 states in order of how road trip-worthy they are, and the results may surprise you.
The top and bottom-ranked states are from all regions of the country. The methodology of the ranking took into account the cost of driving and lodging, road conditions + safety and fun + scenic attractions. In a somewhat surprising move, national parks carry the same weight as amusement parks when it comes to attractions.
