With killer products like Kat Von D’s new 24-hour-long lip liner (on sale now!) to Bite Beauty’s limited edition holographic lipgloss, Sephora is a mecca for both beauty fans and pros alike. With roughly 2,200 lipstick shades to choose from on the store’s app alone, how does one choose just one lip color? Sometimes sorting by “Best Selling” is a good way to go. Here are the top 10 lipsticks that are killing it with sales.
According to stats via The Zoe Report (and confirmed by Sephora), one of the most popular shades is less of a stick, and more of a stain: Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s Vinyl Cream Lip Stain ($36). Described as a “high-coverage liquid lip color,” it lasts up to 10 hours (that’s a whole lotta’ lip service!) and has a diamond-shaped applicator for contouring.
The lip color, available in 10 shades, can be customized with YSL’s complimentary engraving when you purchase it through their site (as seen in the “Before the Light” ad featuring Zoë Kravitz).
Other lippies rounding out the top 10 included Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20), Huda Liquid Matte Lipstick ($20), and Sephora’s own Cream Lip Stain ($14).
Yves Saint Laurent also took home top honors in the tinted balm department with its Volupté Tint-in Balm ($34), while Nars’ Audacious Lipstick ($34) and Tom Ford held it down for traditional lipsticks with Lip Color and Lip Color Matte ($53).
